Food is absolutely amazing. I love the bean, cheese and jalapeno pupusas. Also the caldo is top notch. Highly recommended coming from a white girl. Staff is very friendly.

Great little hole in the wall! I walked in at 6pm on a Monday and asked for an estimated time. The worker said it depended on what I order, I said I would be ordering 4 pupusas and she gave me an estimated time of 20-25min. I thought this was reasonable, because they were being made from scratch. I ordered the following pupusas: Chicharrón: I could not really taste the chicharrón, but it did have a little spicy kick to it. Fair pupusa, nice size and good maza(dough). Revuelta (chicharrón, beans, cheese): This one has a little more flavor due to the beans and cheese. Again, fair pupusa. Bean and cheese: This pupusa was my favorite! So simple, yet so flavorful. The beans tasted great, along with the cheese. What really brings THE FLAVOR are the toppings. You are give a side of curtido (cabbage salad) and a tomato based salsa. Both of these were excellent! In addition, I was asked if I wanted a side of hot sauce and I decided to get it. The hot sauce was very spicy, but good. I would recommend to go easy on it! I plan on returning for the bean and cheese pupusa and possibly trying a different filling!

The customer service stands out, I've only ever had the same guy serve us which I think might be the owner. He was busy busy but still provided good service. The decor in the restaurant is very cute and there's multiple signs letting you know that good fresh food takes time lol We ordered pupusas revueltas, tamal de pollo, a side order of casamiento, horchata and a coffee. Prices are great! I love the little bread (Madeleine) he gives each customer. I had it with my coffee and it was delicious. Again, I'm a little picky and I LOVED the horchata. The pupusas were delicious and not greasy, which is important to me. It's so hard to find good salvadorean tamales but these are solid! My boyfriend loved the casamiento. There's so many items I want to come back and try like the bistec encebollado, pupusa de queso con Loroco, sopa de res, empanada de leche and pastelito de carne. If you're debating coming here, don't, you won't regret it!

The service is so friendly and we are regulars, the owners are kind to us and our kiddos. They always have great music playing for ambiance and the quality of food is always 10/10. Everything is freshly made so do not expect for fast food speed, the wait will be so worth it! I will never go anywhere else for Salvadorian food. This is IT! Some of my favorites are the pupusas with chicharrón and cheese, zucchini cheese and garlic, the huevos rancheros, plátanos con crema , pollo en crema, and the chicharrón if you don't mind fried pork!

Instead of trying to find out HOW meat got into my bean and cheese pupusa, she chose to be sarcastic and defensive about my experience without taking any accountability. She also said that their prices are "a little up there" and "are not meant for everyone" even though no one mentioned they had high prices. So she just went out of her way to...what? Call me poor? Weird. Please stop telling people that your cheese and beans are vegan; they are not. And it's not even always vegetarian either because I 100% got meat in mine and if you say you don't use ground meat in your pupusas, then I am even MORE concerned about what was in mine if it wasn't that. No wonder it upset my stomach all day! What the heck kind of meat was that?! You are clearly not a doctor so please don't try to tell me to go to the ER for an upset stomach. When vegetarians (and vegans) consume meat, we end up with a bad upset stomach - often for a full 24 hours or longer. It's like food poisoning to us. And I got it from your pupusas. She says: "We never said we are vegetarian connoisseurs." LOL lady, you're not even pupusa connoisseurs! I do agree with her on one thing though: Las Ploras pupusas "are not meant for everyone". I would keep that in mind the next time you're looking for good pupusas.
