Great little hole in the wall! I walked in at 6pm on a Monday and asked for an estimated time. The worker said it depended on what I order, I said I would be ordering 4 pupusas and she gave me an estimated time of 20-25min. I thought this was reasonable, because they were being made from scratch. I ordered the following pupusas: Chicharrón: I could not really taste the chicharrón, but it did have a little spicy kick to it. Fair pupusa, nice size and good maza(dough). Revuelta (chicharrón, beans, cheese): This one has a little more flavor due to the beans and cheese. Again, fair pupusa. Bean and cheese: This pupusa was my favorite! So simple, yet so flavorful. The beans tasted great, along with the cheese. What really brings THE FLAVOR are the toppings. You are give a side of curtido (cabbage salad) and a tomato based salsa. Both of these were excellent! In addition, I was asked if I wanted a side of hot sauce and I decided to get it. The hot sauce was very spicy, but good. I would recommend to go easy on it! I plan on returning for the bean and cheese pupusa and possibly trying a different filling! read more

You cant win 'em all! Once again I found myself in the mood for some pupusas. This location was 1.5 miles away and had a decent rating so off I went to try it. It's definitely a smaller place and man was it hot in there. We ordered 10 pupusas revueltas, 4 cups of water and a michelada. The pupusas, understandably, took quite some time to come out. The water cups were small and barely had any ice. I asked for an extra cup of ice and was given a quarter full cup. The michelada was horrible, super watery and had almost no tajin in it. The pupusas were nice and hot but that's where the compliments end. I'm sorry but all 10 pupusas were lacking flavor. Even with the curtido and salsa it had no flavor. I had to put salt on every bite just to get a little bit of flavor. We were all very disappointed with the food. The dining room was small and super humid. There was no circulation of air, but they had 2 ac units on each end of the restaurant, sitting there off. The service wasn't bad by any means, it's just the food wasn't good and it was stupid hot inside. Maybe, maybe, one day down the road I may muster up enough courage to try this place again. read more

I arrived with two other people and we waited 45 minutes to get cold and otherwise subpar food. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, we asked the waiter how much longer it would be, and if the wait was even longer then we would just pay for our drinks and go. She said it was done and then went to the kitchen to get it and came back moments later with it. The food did not look at all like what was advertised and it was not the best quality whatsoever. Two out of Three of the items I ordered were not enjoyed. And on top of all of this, upon my party paying and leaving, three other parties came in and the first party quickly received ALL of their food and drinks within the first 10 minutes of sitting down. I completely understand having to wait for food made to order, but the food we received was old and in nicer terms, not edible, very obviously old ingredients and a microwave being used. the chicken was browned and crusted on the edges amongst other complaints. my party paid and left but we definitely won't be back. we left hungry. read more

I was craving some good salvadorian pupusas and tamales so I decided to give this place a try but at the end was disappointed. First of all the wait was super long. I waited for about 20 minutes and the restaurant wasn't even packed, there was only about three tables being used and one person waiting before me. I couldn't believe I saw the lady put a tamale in the microwave and that's the one she gave me. I got a bean and cheese pupusa and it was lacking flavor. I've had better pupusas in the past. The tamale was alright but could of been better. The restaurant was not clean and looked dirty. I will not come back no matter how hungry I am. Right after I finished my food, I got a stomach ache. I've been here twice and both times the customer service is horrible!!!! They literally look at you walk in and don't Acknowledge you. I walk up to the counter to order and they look at you standing there and don't acknowledge you.
