First trip to El Paraiso and it didn't disappoint. We had a large group (10 peeps) and the server didn't break a sweat taking care of us. Fast and friendly. As for the food/menu, I couldn't believe how extensive the fajitas menu was. My soon had the fajita Hawaiian, which had chicken, shrimp, steak, sausage, and wait for it, Pineapple. What a great a unique and fun combo. As for me, the fajita nachos. Which were very good but didn't come with the normal sides (rice, beans, sour cream and pico) that fajitas typically come with. Smells like Fabuluso. Salsa is just tomato sauce. Chips are stale. Manager is rude and told a lady "that no one held a gun to make her eat there" - bathroom was filthy and toilet wet. Ambiance is awful. read more

Ok a Mexican pizza is truly a made-up Taco Bell thing. I go to this place, and see a shrimp Mexican pizza on the menu. I'm thinking this is going to be some up-scaled Taco-Bell style stuff. Well I'm wrong, it's basically two tortillas with a lot of stuff layered on it. It's like if you could fold the tortillas over, it would be a soft shrimp taco. First they did not know we speak spanish. Food was overly salty and bland. Wife talked to the waiter and told him about food. He then gets manager, I assume, he ask my wife about food and she explains he then starts having attitude already. My husband and I are new to the area and want to try every restaurant to find a new favorite. Unfortunately, this place doesn't make the cut. I ordered the Steak con Arroz, and it was super salty that I couldn't eat it. (I took it home to mix with my own Mexican rice that I made.) But the kicker was the bad attitude we received from our server Herson, when my husband made a special request for his food. He made us feel like it was too much trouble. I asked for more chips and salsa, and again the attitude. I wanted to order a side of beans, but didn't want to be a bother to him anymore, so we got the check and made a quick exit. My husband didn't even finish his food. We get it. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but we're not willing to give this place another try. Extremely disappointed in the food at this place. Everything was literally pure salt from the chicken to the beef. Chips were cold and stale and salsa was very runny. This is not the first time recently that the food here has been over salty. Quality has gone down overall from past experiences. We got to the restaurant just in time before the lunch hour rush because obviously this must be a hotspot in town. The waitress came over to us right away to take our order, after receiving our drinks she took our order I had a taco salad crispy flour tortilla shell filled with either beef or chicken I chose the chicken with refried beans, topped with cheese sauce lettuce grated cheese sour cream and tomatoes. My hubby had the super combination dinners which was one burrito, one chili relleno and one taco, it was all chicken he asked for. The tables were decorated with Mexican themes and then polyurethane and on top of it which they were very beautifully done. I was not too impressed with my meal the cheese sauce was on the Runny side so if you tip the taco the cheese sauce poured out so that wasn't my favorite part of the taco salad. The refills on all drinks and chips and salsa are complementary .The salsa was more purée,the salsa didn't have a lot of bulk to it. There is a lot of Mexican restaurants in the town,I don't think I will be in a hurry to come back and try something different at this restaurant which I can go to other ones and be a little more satisfied. read more

When we pulled up we noticed they were very busy which is always a good sign. Despite how busy they were, we were seated right away. They quickly brought out complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were good but the salsa was bland and too mild. We asked the server if they had a hotter salsa and they brought out a much spicier one for us. I still found it a bit bland despite the heat but my Mexican husband was happy for the extra spice. The menu has a section for vegetarian options which was very helpful. By getting it without the cheese, several options become vegan friendly such as the tostada and chalupa. Our food came out very quickly, which is not a great sign. The food, while OK, was not authentic Mexican. If you are looking for decent Tex Mex served friendly and fast this place won't disappoint. This is my go to Mexican restaurant around town. The service is unbelievably fast. Within 5-10 minutes our entire table always has their meals once we place our orders. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly!!! The lunch prices are also awesome. Several times for two people to eat lunch it's been about 15$, and you walk out stuffed! read more

This restaurant met all of my expectations and then some. It is in a strip mall so the atmosphere is not what you go for, but the service and food delivers. My family ate the Special, Pollo loco con chorizo and another pollo meal. (You don't have to know the name to know it tastes awesome) This was our second time in a week to eat there! We are great fans of this local, family friendly, sit down restaurant. We had been regulars at El Sazon's, but we have never gone back there after eating at El Paraiso's! More than the great food are the great people. There has been a turnover of employees of late, but this has not stopped the wonderful service and great food. Prices are very reasonable, and the place is packed during high meal times. That speaks volumes. read more
