Good Mexican food I really liked it. It's close to the house and I often do call ins.

The food was delicious and authentic. New to the area and trying to find the good spots. This is one of our favorites so far. Check it out.

Passing through and we saw the reviews on this place so we decided to give it a try. We will definitely be back! Great food and service. The cheese is as good as all the reviews say, get it. The guac was really good too once a little salt was added. And the Margarita's were good and very reasonably priced. As for food, the Molcajete was excellent. I will be ordering this again. It came with carnitas, beef, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo along with a ton of vegetables. It was all really good but my favorites were the shrimp and chorizo. Huge serving size was also a plus. My wife said the Pina Rellena Fajitas were great as well. As for other food, the chicken quesadilla was just ok because of the shredded chicken being dry and the chicken enchilada was even drier so that made it worse. Both had shredded chicken in them which I would not order again. My grilled chicken in the Molcajete was excellent however so I would just stay away from the shredded chicken personally. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive so this is a major strength here as well! read more

Pretty good food. Plates looked a little short last time so we've started going to the one in dandridge.

Even the simplest item on the menu was fantastic - I had the crunchy beef tacos. The service was also great - it seemed like there were only two people working and they nailed it. First time at Don Marcos and we love Mexican food. To start ask for the spicy salsa and mix it with the normal table salsa for a bit of a perfect blend of flavor and heat. The location is clean and not very loud even when full. Nice staff and friendly for new guests. I ordered the Pina Rellena Fajitas which is a mixed meat fajita plate ( chorizo, steak and chicken) served in a PINEAPPLE! The juice soaks into the spicy fajita flavors in a sweet surprise. I have only been here once, but if a local this would be it for me! A real delight. My wife and daughter split the chicken fajitas single. It was plenty for the two of them. They liked the flavor and loved the rice and beans. Very authentic rice and beans. Guacamole was ver good also. One critique is the inclusion of tomatoes in the fajitas. They did not like them as it seemed to dilute the fajita flavor with too much extra liquid. But we all went away happy. read more

Mid afternoon, and we were spotted menus, table had residue from the day. I wiped with a wetone, and ordered, our usual attentive server was not as prompt. And we had to ask for many items. And when our food came it was missing items the menu said it had. At that point my hubby I could see was disappointed, and so was I We ate our meal, but last time we were in the area and I said honey you want to try Mexican he said not really. So happy to see a good Mexican restaurant in Kodak. After being to El Paso many times I can't say that the food is even authentic Mexican anymore. It's an Americanized Taco Bell imitation. Moving on, this a great hole in the wall located beside the Food City plaza in Kodak. The tiny place churns out great fajitas, chimichangas, and get the Molcajete! It was chicken, beef, steak and shrimp in a cast iron bowl smothered with cheese. I ate it three times it was so much food for 13$ it doesn't get any better. Not sure if they have liquor yet but I live so close it doesn't matter. Very personable staff and zero language barriers. They also do lunch specials even on Saturdays. Gracias!!! read more

We came from California to try this new restaurant that my family keeps talking about. So we flew in and stayed a couple of nights and visited. Whenever we go to don Marco's we came from Dollywood and we were hungry and while I was driving my family was searching places and we found the right spot. Which was don marcos because the color stood out to our family. Once we enter the beautiful place the way they designed it is beautiful. 10/10 experience good service. There food was amazing I have never tried some Mexican food like that it was amazing. 10/10 food. Would definitely recommend that you come try there food. read more

Sometimes you just have to ignore the bad reviews. There are some people that you couldn't please even if you let them eat free. This place was family run and willing to please. We were very happy and exceptionally pleased with quality and quantity of food for the price. They had a large menu with Mexican dishes I have not experienced in other Mexican establishments. The entire experience here was fantastic. It's located in a strip mall and the interior is decorated really nicely. The red quesadilla was great- a chicken quesadilla with a red sauce on top. Also, for dessert, I got a Xango which is like a fried cheesecake and I definitely recommend it if you get the chance to go here. read more

No, this joint is nice. I'm from Austin Texas. I've eaten at Mexican restaurants in Texas, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina. This just might be my favorite place. No it's a small place and the booths are about well they're about to fall apart some of them but the food itself the man make some decisions that are just tasty and very pleasing to the eye my wife got the dish that was served in a pineapple, she absolutely adored it and I got the one that comes in the bowl. Both of them sizzling can't think of the name of it but I'm telling you all the homemade tortillas were on point the salsa was on point of chips or warm.
