The El Paseo Shopping District offers high-end designer stores and boutiques, fine jewelers, art galleries, and a diverse selection of upscale to casual dining options in this 9-block area in Palm Desert. Manicured & meticulously planted raised median on El Paseo displays a multitude of outdoor artworks as one strolls or drives along the "Rodeo Drive of the Dessert". There are free yellow courtesy carts which operates seasonally from mid-October through May to shuttle people along El Paseo. Street parking can be difficult at times, however there are two parking structures at The Gardens on El Paseo and at El Paseo Village. Also, many storefronts have some parking behind them.

El Paseo feels like that one friend who's stylish but never makes you feel underdressed. Palm trees, pretty shops, art galleries you wander into on a whim, and restaurants that somehow pull you in even when you swear you're not hungry. It's polished but easygoing, made for strolling, people-watching, and taking your time. Desert sunshine, good food, and no rush to be anywhere else.

Nice decoration along the main street.

This is a really beautiful area with so, so many shops, restaurants, beauty places, art galleries, and just about everything you can think of. They even have a small outdoor mall called The Gardens. This place reminds me of Rodeo Drive, which is high praise. We went there on Thanksgiving actually and I thought it was like two blocks, but it's more like 6 blocks with shops on both sides. They have a nice pretty middle section with statues and designs. They have a Tommy Bahama's and a central Starbucks as well as a Pandora and Sephora. Lots of jewelers and miscellaneous places to check out. I was very impressed by this street. Look forward to coming back when more places are open.

One of my absolute favorite places to shop. Many high end stores are located on this street. You wont find any bargain stores here When you shop here it is an experience. High quality items everywhere. And you wont go hungty. Many fine eateries are found up and down this street. Just a great place for shopping and eating in the desert.

Wishing I could afford the pricey boutique shops on El Paseo Drive

Came here to spend a couple of hours checking out the regularly priced shops such as lululemon, Athleta and let's not forget the uber expensive shops. Pictured are avant-garde items from one of the many art galleries on this Blvd. Starbucks and CA Pizza Kitchen are also on this main blvd. Recommend coming here to browse, shop or buy.

Fancy shopping district in Palm Dessert. I spent a morning walking the sidewalks here and enjoyed the few sculptures throughout, window shopping (it was earlier in the day and most stores were closed) and the nice median lined with Palm Trees. There were a few galleries, restaurants and coffee shops sprinkled in to the high end retail. While, I myself, couldn't see myself shopping here, it makes a great place for a morning stroll and some light people watching.

Wished I could have spent way more time shopping there. Ran out of money LOL The shops were so much fun to go into and so much fun to find fabulous things to buy. Worth every minute of it!

Cute outdoor shopping area, but it's very hot during summer. They don't have much shade or the water sprinkler thing to help the shoppers to cool down. Shop selections are not that great...they have about 4 high end stores, LV, Gucci, BV and Tiffany and others are just smaller or independent stores. Parking is free and it's located at a structure.

The most beautiful restaurant on El Paseo and true to mid-century modern design! LOVE

Lots of shopping, art galleries, restaurants, fun events! Stagecoach's opening parade with the Budweiser Clydesdales, food festivals, concerts, etc. Our faves are Porta Via for cocktails. Mama Gina's for all night happy hour. Larkspur Grill for live music and food! El Paseo hotel is just fun to walk around and see all the art and the restored air stream!

The "El Paseo Cruise Night and Car Show" was fantastic time for car owners, car enthusiasts and the community alike! The event took place at The Gardens On El Paseo Shopping Center in beautiful Palm Desert,California. The cars started rolling in around 2 P.M. and there was a fantastic, eclectic gathering of over 100 cars-exotics,vintage,hot rods, classics, lowriders ,muscle cars and trucks! Car owners, enthusiasts and visitors were enjoying great fellowship and car talk! Then at around 4 P.M. the cars hit the streets for a great cruise on the boulevard.. When you go you can park on the second level where the cars are at and then walk downstairs to see the cruise- great photo ops here and throughout the The Gardens On El Paseo Shopping and Dining Center. The El Paseo Gardens There are numerous places to grab a bite to eat to make it a nice dinner night too! We had a great experience at The Gardens On El Paseo Cruise Night! . . . . #elpaseocruisenight #elpaseogardens #thegardensonelpaseo #carcruise #carshow #palmdesert #ilovecars #godisgood #seetheusa #alfaromeo #chevrolet #dodge #ferrari #ford #mopar #corvette #lotus #exoticcars #photografxworldwide #classiccars #hotrods #musclecars#carphotography #palmdesertcalifornia #desertlife #carlife #dinnernight #family #sachsfifthavenue #iloveshopping

I love this road, and it's not about the really cool stores. They are everywhere, but there are a bunch. Are you looking for a new Tesla? They've got it. Do you need some jeans? Lucky Brand is on the road. Do you want a nice new silk Hawaiian shirt? Tommy Bahama is nearby. Do you like to eat? They've got Mexican food, a diner, Starbucks, a seafood restaurant (Pacifica), and a host of other choices. These are all great, but for me, it's all about the art. You've probably got about 10 different art galleries, and they all had something that I enjoyed viewing. They were all different, as they all seemed to have a unique focus. El Paseo is a great place for a number of reasons, and I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Billed as the Rodeo Drive of the Desert, there are many high end stores here, for certain. At the holidays, there are lights galore, which make driving or walking through at night a feast for the eyes. We did drive by the heart of the shopping district last night and oohed and aahed at several giant trees of lights, plus the center divide trees wrapped in even more sparkling lights. Even our 14 year old nephew thought it was pretty cool, and he can be hard to impress. I always enjoy when merchants create festive window displays, and there were many shiny, colorful designs to brighten the scene. It's beginning to look like the holiday season is in full swing in Palm Desert.

Something similar to the Northridge or even Burbank mall when I first walked in. There's plenty of parking and a covered structure which is a major plus out here in the desert. The summer heat and walking back to your car after it's been sitting out, no bueno. For the two main departments stores, Macys on one end and JC Penny's on the other end. Macys also has a home store which you don't see as often. The other bigger stores, Dicks and Barnes and Nobles. Then inside you have the usual stores, nothing fancy. There's your usual H&M which is decent size, Victoria Secrets, Hollister, American Eagle, Tilly's, Bath and Body Works, Express and a few other retail store you would expect inside a mall. Nothing fancy but the usual. Then there's some small business which seemed like they're family owned. The mall isn't that big, a good length from one end to the other. I walked in on Mother's Day's for the first time which they were hosting afternoon tea right in the middle of the plaza. It was cute and raffles were given with prizes offered from the retail insides. In my opinion, it's a mall. Nothing major or special about it. You would think that if it is the only main mall in town, it should be worth it. But I guess it'll do.

The first thing I saw was how FRESH and HEALTHY everything looked. The ingredients were vibrant and clearly prepared with care. After speaking with the owner, I learned this is a FAMILY OWNED business that recently opened, and I was one of their early customers. That made the experience even more meaningful. For my first visit, I tried the tuna wrap and it was AMAZING. The owner was PASSIONATE about the food and took the time to explain the menu and the value is great. You can tell there is real pride behind what they serve. They also offer WRAPS, FRESH SALADS, AND BURGERS, so there are plenty of options depending on what you want. The atmosphere was FRIENDLY, WELCOMING, AND FAMILY ORIENTED. If I am back at the mall, I will definitely come again. IF YOU ARE AT THE SHOPS AT PALM DESERT, GO UPSTAIRS AND CHECK OUT IT'S A WRAP.
