This was my first time at El Paso... I'm impressed! The staff (every one I spoke with ) was awesome... Friendly, polite, and very attentive... Two thumbs up. We had the Señor Tim's Dip... A mixture of goodness in a bowl... My daughter and wife ate most of it, but what I had was really good. Looks like every night is 2 for 1 on the house margaritas. We all ordered them.. A little too sweet for me and not even the slightest buzz (and I Ubered there). Will try something different next time. For dinner I had the Veracruz Shrimp with a side of Charro Beans and grill jalapeño. My family ordered street tacos and a combo plate with a chili relleño, burrito, and quesadilla. The Shrimp was a little above average, charro beans needed to cook a few more days to become familiar with itself. Street tacos were not bad at all... The combo plate was good too... Chili Relleño was on the the better ones in town. We left happy and stuffed. I will definitely come back to El Paso... Should have asked what the Hawaiian and Tejanas fajitas are... And may give them a try. They don't have a website and no one posted their menu to Yelp... So you are welcome. read more

Confused staff. Mediocre (at best) food. I thought Mexican was supposed to have flavor. Very bland.

The only reason I'm giving this restaurant two stars is that the staff is so nice. Very attentive and helpful. The food, however, is a horrible excuse for Mexican cuisine. The tamale had way too much masa and far too little meat. The chicken quesadilla had chunks of boiled chicken, with no grilling marks or smokiness evident. What's worse, the cheese tasted like some sort of processed cheese food product, not to be confused with real cheese. They did have a two-for-one special on draft beer, which is fortunate or I'd have gone away absolutely starving. If you like real Mexican food, stay away. read more

First impressions...looks dark from the outside, but is nicely lighted and appropriately decorated inside. Plenty of seating. Mid afternoon - slow and not crowded so we got very friendly and efficient service from congenial staff. The low...fish taco was pretty bland and had a very small amount of fish in it. (On the plus side....it was cheap.) The high...the Tamal was excellent. While I have normally preferred Colombian Tamales Tolimenses wrapped in a plantain leaf, the Tamales of Central Mexico (and other countries as well), wrapped in a corn husk and steamed, was what I had today. It was firm yet moist, filled with BBQ pork, and topped with a ground meat sauce. The latter was a style I had never seen before. It was probably the best traditional tamal I've had. We didn't take time for dessert, but they looked delicious. (Check out the pic I posted.) All-in-all...great lunch for the price. Less than $20 for the two of us...and that include a beer. read more

My boyfriend and I both ordered the carne asada and the portions are very reasonable. Perfect amount of steam. I substituted the beans and lettuce/salad for just all rice, which was no problem. According to my boyfriend who's been here a lot more, their pina colada is delicious! Wasn't craving it last night but I trust his word, so, order it! From start to finish our main server was great, but at the beginning the host and a server were talking about how he didn't want us to sit with him (in Spanish)...we get our drinks and order. A huge Hispanic party table sits down. They all get there drinks and food about 10 mins into sitting down. Meanwhile my friend and I that ordered the same thing conveniently enough way before this party of about 12 sat, had yet to have anything at our table, so, we left. Their excuse was "they called ahead and ordered" so a friend of ours called the next day to ask if we could order food and drinks ahead (before showing up to sit) and they said no it doesn't work that way. I'm not pulling a race card but it was very clear this restaurant does not treat people equally. Won't be going back. read more

This place was really good! The ACP and Carne Asada tacos were delicious, and the strawberry margarita is super good. Loved The BOGO Margarita deal as well! Also, it was super hard finding a Mexican joint down here that serves horchata and El Paso does, so that gets them extra bonus points. read more

This is my first time here in a long time. The place was decorated like most Mexican restaurants and seemed nice enough. Service was pretty good. Food was okay... we ordered steak fajitas for 2 with corn tortillas. The portion size was generous for us to have left overs for the next day. In fact the leftovers tasted better than fresh. I tried the quesa -birria from here through door dash. It's very good, nice lightly spicy tender beef, lots of cheese in fresh made thick corn tortilla. Served with a side of consomee (sp?) For dipping along with a very good spicy green salsa. They also sent me free chips and a milder red salsa that was pretty good as well. The meal here was not bad, it was borderline horrible. The beans, rice, and even the guacamole lacked flavor. The robust flavors of Mexican cuisine is definitely lacking. Literally had no peppers and hardly an onion in site and it looked as bad as it tasted. Service was equally as bad. We were not asked once if we would like refills on our drinks. I love this place. So good! Green hot sauce is delicious!!! Red sauce is hot, but fantastic. We've gotten the $2.99 tacos, enchiladas, carne, carnitas, all the dips, and guacamole. Everything we've had here we enjoy. I'm from Southern California so I am very picky with Mexican Food and I enjoy this place. It is a good place to eat they are closer to authentic than Tex mex. great proportions at a low cost and pretty good service. The location is ok to get in. But difficult to get out. Starting this review as I wait over 15 minutes to get seated and I'm the only patron waiting to be seated. No hostess in sight. Stood there standing and waiting to be seated for 15 minutes. Interesting. As I finally asked to sit down I ordered sweet tea for two just in case they don't come back. Sweet tea was great! Once we got seated, the service was very attentive, just yell hello when you first come in if the hostess is no where in sight. I ordered the chimichanga with shredded beef. It was awesome! It wasn't huge which is good for my waist line, but the presentation and quality is super good. There were no problems there. My friend ordered the beef fajitas, they looked great. Can't wait to go and check out El Paso again and try more of their menu. read more

Despite what I know to be the greasy poor quality fare here, it wasn't all bad upon reflection. I got a craving for Mexican and we came here for lunch. They have some sort of lunch special menu. I got the ground beef quesadilla. Their version of the quesadilla is about the size of my palm, so small you don't even have to cut it. It was probably a good thing because about half a cup of grease dripped out of that tiny quesadilla so I'm sure that despite it's small size, it packed enough calories to keep me fed for the rest of the day. read more
