Came here on a Saturday and they weren't very busy when we got there, but soon afterwards, they were really busy! Upon walking up, they gave us each a tostado with a smear of refried beans on it. I tried each one of their salsas on it and the tostada was nice, but those salsas were amazing! Their verde salsa had a very nice kick to it and lots of great flavor! We got a bunch of their shrimp tacos and their mahi tacos and both were excellent! Lots of great flavors happening there and the tortilla was excellent! This place is no joke. Best California style burritos, plentiful, juicy, tasty. The sauces are also amazing, and the queso dip we had is one of the best I've had across many states. I also enjoyed the tacos, but here I would say that the meat ratio was a bit off and they were a bit skimpy. Then again, great flavors. Went again today! The tacos good as always and my husband's pork burrito was tasty and big as a mans shoe. This burrito was one of the best I have had. What I liked about it was it wasn't filled with a bunch of rice. The sauce they give you is good too. The green is mild, the red it spicy. Great, delicious authentic food! They told me they will have Pazole on Tuesday so I will have to go because it's one of my favorites I have not found here. It will be a nice treat, I won't have to make it myself! read more

Rika's Tacos and owners were an amazing place with authenticity and pure quality! From the get go we were greeted and welcomed. The selection of choices varied and everything we had did not disappoint! We were worried in trying Mexican food (being from Texas) in another state that wouldn't feel authentic but it was nothing but. The Al Pastor Street Tacos were delish! Tortillas were hand pressed and soft. As an appetizer we had the Choriqueso and it was full of flavor! My husband had the California Burrito and he said "Chipotle Whole?"! My kids enjoyed some Birria Tacos and Quesadillas which they said were delicious! They have decent seating outdoors and a couple of yard games to enjoy the atmosphere. Owners are from Jalisco, MX and they know some good food! If you have yet to go or are in the area give this place a try, they were so worth it! Wow! I've eaten birria tacos all over, including Palm Springs, CA, and Tijuana, Mexico. Rika's were in the top three I've even had. I knew it was going to be a great experience when the owner greeted me in such a friendly manner and gave me a hot and crispy tostada sample. I was not disappointed. When my food was ready, he personally brought it to my table and checked on me several times while I was eating. Then, when I was finished, he made sure I enjoyed my meal and bused my table for me. We decided to try this place solely based on the reviews... While most of what we tried was great, there were a couple of things to note: a) the horchata is not the horchata I'm used to - it had a very plastic-y aftertaste. Not sure if that was because the serving container was new - or some other reason, but we ended up tossing it. b) the al pastor tacos were very dry. Even with salsas, the meat was overcooked and dried out. The birria tacos, however were BOMB! these were amazing!! Very flavorful and the meat tender - cooked to perfection! WeI also tried the CA burrito, the guacamole, the beans and rice, and the street corn - all decent, but nothing super special. I would definitely return to eat here again, and would definitely order the birria tacos without hesitation, but would probably only come for those. read more

This is our third time here as we are out of state. We consider ourselves taco truck aficionados as we are always trying them as we find them on our travels. Whenever we come to the panhandle we drive specially to gulf breeze (this time over an hour) for this taco truck and it never fails. The tacos, sauce, and service are amazing! Last week I ordered Taco Del Ray for delivery. I placed an order for a burrito, 3 tacos, and street corn. They called and said that they did not have any corn then asked if they could substitute it out with either chips and salsa or chips and queso. We opted for chips and queso. When received our order there was only queso no chips. The food itself was very good. I ordered a burrito, and it satisfied my cravings. My husband liked his tacos too. For a food truck, the food is pretty good. The street tacos are what I ate in Mexico City. Try the carnitas and Al Pastor tacos. The stand out items are the street corn and the fried plantains. Great taco truck! My boyfriend and I frequented the truck before the new management, and I can say that it is just as tasty. The workers we talked to were super nice and friendly. The seating is super cute now with stringed lights and tables with umbrellas for super hot summer days. I never doubted if we'd be returning!
