I'm loving this place ~ have been twice in the past month. Their food is consistently delicious. The venue is nicely decorated with beautiful greenery and pink accents. It adds an exuberant flair, making you feel upbeat and lively. The staff is attentive and really accommodating. The black bean dip and salsa with the fresh chips is amazing! Yesterday, I had a cucumber jalapeño cocktail and that drink put me out!! One drink ~ it was delicious and crept up on me. Didn't even taste how strong it was but wow! read more

The Parillada dish is advertised for 2. But it is enough for my family of four. We even came home with leftovers. This dish was delicious. It has beef, chicken, sausage and shrimp. It reminds me of a fajita dish. You are given 2 portions of the rice, beans, lettuce, a spicy salsa and guacamole with tortillas (see pictures). Our waiter checked on us frequently and made sure our drinks were filled. Sunday night has a 2 for 1 tequila special. Sunday night for dinner was not busy. We had a good time as a family eating here. What happened? This was so good a year ago. The chips used to be thin, crispy and tasty, now they were thick, hard and unpleasant. Everything food-related has deteriorated. Hostess was funny and endearing. Waitress was sweet and checked-in. I spoke with a friend who was there at the same time and he said the same thing, unprompted. Great ambiance, but not enough to overcome where they are obviously cutting corners-the food. read more

Crestview FL. only selected 1 star because there is no way to select a negative star. Very disappointed. this used to be a good place to eat in or take out. I ordered online for take out, showed up to pick up my order at the time specified in my order confirmation email. not only was the food not ready, but after the person at the front desk went back to the kitchen twice to check on my order, (and both times coming back and telling me it would be just a few more minutes), the manager finally came out to the front to ask me what did I order. apparently the kitchen had never seen my order. finally after another 10 minutes or so, my order came out, I took it and drove home only to find out they forgot a third of my order. And all that after I had generously paid a 25% tip. Save your money and the aggravation, go somewhere else. read more

as a member of this community for over 40 years never have a felt so disrespected as I did at El Paso on the night of December 15 2025. After cashing out our tab the bartender for that night came back up to us with another cash out slip. I told her i already signed and totaled it out to an even number. immediately, without a second thought to herself on what should come out of her mouth, she yelled at me told me I did not pay and that if I did not pay she would call the cops on me. when I say she yelled she YELLED and bowed up ready to fight.I told her I did pay and you already have my credit card number, so I am not trying to run out on this bill you have my information. Again, she yelled that I did not pay and that she would call the cops on me. I then went and asked another person If I could please speak to the manager .The same bartender then told me who the manager was who coincidentally was the person standing right beside her. while trying to explain to the so-called manager what happened this bartender proceeded to berate me yell at me tell me she was gonna call the cops and then told me to get the fuck out while the supposed manager stood there in silence not one word spoken. nothing. again the bartender yells GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!! again nothing from said manager. I personally have managed an Outback Steakhouse for over a decade and there is no circumstance where I would let any of my service members talk to a customer that way. let alone stand in silence while they did so. read more

Honestly, for us the food was rather disappointing. Lunch fajitas were very small for the price and lacking on the peppers and onions. The mixed fajitas had three shrimp and stringy strips of steak and dry chicken. The Chicken Chimichunga my friend ordered had dry chicken with a bit of cheese inside. The service was fine, not at all upbeat though. I liked it, went for my first time with 6 friends and all gave a thumbs up and would return... Food was more than acceptable for American Mexican, drinks were great, especially the Margaritas and restaurant was very clean. I've eaten at all the Mexican restaurants in Crestview and probably the entire area as I'm an old time local and this place is a probably my new favorite. Our server was Izzie, she said she was new but didn't matter to us as she was great and very likable. I know the restaurant business can be very volatile, but I hope this one stays around for a while. read more

Since it was cold outside, I found that I enjoyed the warm bean dip more than I did the cold salsa. It was a Monday and they had $2 margaritas on the rocks; we first tried the mango flavor - I wasn't a fan. My second try was lime, which was as an improvement. I ordered the puff taco it was yummy, I'm glad the waiter suggested the sauce on the side, otherwise I think my taco would have been soggy. First off, if you're looking for California-level authentic Mexican food, this isn't it. But it's damn good for what it is, and beats out any other Mexican in the area. Ate here twice in 1 week. The Al pastor and carne asada tacos were bursting with flavor. Very tender meat. Always choose corn tortillas. A family member had the carne asada plate. The meat was tender, flavorful. This review would not be complete without a nod to the beans with bits of sausage- I could eat a bowl of this alone. The margaritas are delicious and are not weak! The pineapple habanero marg in particular is stellar. We wished they had more Mexican beers on tap, but the place is still relatively new. read more

A group of and myself for a total of 4 visited this restaurant on 03/01/24. I was not a satisfied customer. I ordered a steak quesadilla plate, larg queso sauce and a sweet tea. The server was prompt and attentive in most cases. However when we received our checks my personal total was 29.87 for what I ordered. We were brought only one small dish of nachos which was not enough for 4 people and was never offered more. I paid my bill with cash and had placed a cash tip of $6 while others also left a cash tip and 2 of my guests paid with card. After everyone paid their bill the credit card payments received their cards back. I had given $40 cash in the cask check folder but the server did not return with my paid receipt or cash change. I had to ask for it aand for the other guests who also paid in cash. So after I requested my receipt and change I was brought a crinkled up receipt that had obviously been waded up and thrown in the trash. The same wit the other guests that paid cash. So I got my $11.00 of my change back and was missing.13 cents. (Note I had already placed a 20% tip on the table. After I got home I examined my receipt further and notice I had been charged an additional $1.01 in credit card fees. Which makes my charges were over charged by $1.14. Now if this occurred with every customer those dollars add up. So someone is skimming or the restaurant is charging for items they shouldn't be and failing to offer the customer their change that's due to them. I won't be going back. The quesadilla was a dry diced steak placed into a toasted flour tortilla and was difficult to cut, chew or otherwise not enjoyable to eat. No cheese on the quesadilla. It was a rip off all the way around. read more

We decided to ignore the bad reviews of this New Mexican restaurant and we're pleasantly surprised by how awesome the food tasted. My husband ordered the Burrito Asada which was large full of white meat chicken and loaded with awesome flavor. I ordered pollo loco omg was it good. Grilled chicken covered with sautéed mushrooms onions peppers and spinach with a large sides of fresh grilled vegetables. The flavor was beyond good. The chips and salsa was good I did order a side of guacamole just ok. The inside is now open and air with bright colors and lots of light after Reno from the former restaurant.
