Dollaritas will always bring us back to Chili's. They're a good staple of every Chili's we've ever been to in every city we visit. This location didn't offer a monthly special option, which was weird. We were seated right away by the hostess, who really hated her job. No life in her at all. Like, really hated her job. Our waiter seemed nice, lots of "y'all's" and "mmm, k's" as we were trying to order drinks. Nothing too crazy or weird to start. Once we'd placed our food order we sat and waited for our starters. He came by to let us know the kitchen was a bit backed up, but our starters were coming out next, and sure enough about 10 minutes later, they did. That's when things went sideways. As the salads were delivered he told us the entrees were done and did we want them now or did we want them held in the back for a bit? We asked him to bring them out because who wants food to sit under a heat lamp? That's weird. So he went back to get our entrees. We ordered Caesar salads as part of our 3 for meals and the salads were not traditional romaine lettuce, but spring mix instead. When we asked about it, the waiter abruptly stated that they just used the same mix for all the salads and walked away. I don't eat spring mix, so I didn't eat my salad. He was delivering our entrees and put down three of the four, and on the fourth the tray tipped and shattered the plate and food on the floor. No big, accidents happen. He apologized and let us know he'd have the meal remade. Another waitress came over and cleaned up the big chunks of food with a napkin and he came back and wiped the floor with a paper towel. When a third waitress asked if he was going to clean it up he said he was not until everyone was out of the section. It's important to mention here that our aisle is the aisle to the bathroom. He put up the caution floor sign and never came back to our table. An older gentleman from the table by the window came down our aisle in a walker to try to get to the bathroom and my husband had to spot him to ensure he didn't fall in the residual mess. My husband did speak to the manager to let him know about the issues during our meal, and the manager was very receptive to listening, which is the only reason this is 3 instead of 2 stars. I'm sure this location is better than the service and food we received and that they were having a day, but between the snotty hostess, not great waiter, gross salad, and less than stellar food, I'm not sure it'll warrant a second chance to find out. read more

The good upfront: beer was cold and good as was the wife's margarita Not good: Food: Wife ordered classic nachos and I got a side of mac 'n cheese. It took an hour for the food to get served. When the food was served, it was luke warm. To top it off, our silverware was dirty. Service: We were sitting at the bar and the bartender was hardly around. We kept looking up and she and the other waitresses were out singing the birthday song 3 different times. The not bartender's fault but it made for not-great service. Two stars for the cold beer. It was a gloomy day full of rain and cold but we walked into chilis to a smile. It was oddly cold in the restaurant so bring a sweater. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly. We had a large group but our drinks and chips app came out quickly. The chips are super thin and crispy, they were great and the salsa flavorful. I ordered the chicken crispers (I think) the menu appeared to have several names for the chicken fingers. I had the original with bbq sauce and ranch. The sides were fries and Mac n cheese. We only ate couple bites of burger and thru away the remainder after loosing our appetite. I know some folks like theirs rare and that is beside the point not what I ordered and paid for. We came here over the weekend, waited over 45 minutes for our food just for it to not come out hot or correct. We asked for a manager & had someone by the name "Becca" come over to assist. I was taken back by how careless and unprofessional this lady was. We will simply not be returning after the past year we have spent coming to this establishment. Not only was this manager Becca unprofessional and unhelpful she was also very unkept, took about 10-15 minutes for her to come "help" us, appeared to be wearing scrub pants that did not look like a uniform. She had very greasy multicolored hair. My wife didn't believe that this was the new manager here, as we were told by her that she was new there. This place seemed to be poorly managed despite apparently being a newer location. It was very visible how miserable and unhappy all of the employees are here. While the food was great, the service was much less than great. Our party of 10 arrived and half of the restaurant was completely empty. They would not seat us though, because the server wasn't there yet. We understand that your server isn't there, but why does that mean we can't at least sit at the completely empty tables? So we all stood around waiting for about 10 minutes, when again half the tables in the restaurant were completely empty, therefore they had plenty of room to seat us. After we were finally seated, our waitress took our drink orders. It came out super fast, and then we ordered our food. It took some time between each order for the waitress to input the items, which is no big deal since she's putting it all on separate tickets. Food came out quickly. Except, things weren't put on separate tickets. When it came time for us to start paying our checks, we started using their tablet on the table to pay. There were only 5 tickets total and there should have been 9. There was a ticket for $90, one for $70 something, and none of us ordered anything more than $40 total individually. So we asked our waitress to check it for us, and she said she would. One in our party needed to leave, so she was waiting to pay her ticket. We waited, and waited, and waited about 20 minutes and the waitress finally brought the one member of our party that needed to leave her ticket. I politely asked if we were all going to get physical tickets, or if the tablet was going to be updated to our actual orders. The waitress less than politely responded "Yes that's what I'm working on. But I needed to get hers first since she needs to leave. I can't even take another table right now while I get this sorted out." The way said she said she couldn't take another table made it seem like we were inconveniencing her when none of us wanted to pay $90, or even $70 for a ticket that wasn't correct. I'm not sure how the orders got so jumbled up in the taking process, but it doesn't mean the waitress needs to take it out on those of us waiting to pay. So the rest of us wait for our tickets. About 20 minutes goes by while we're all waiting for our corrected tickets. Please note this is about 40 minutes after we first notified our waitress of the errors on the tablet. Again, large party, multiple orders, I understand this takes time. But it shouldn't take 40 minutes time. She comes back and only about half of the tickets are correct this time. So those people get their payment taken care of. The rest of us tell her our correct orders, again, and wait for our tickets to be returned. And wait some more. About 10 minutes later she comes back (now 50 minutes total), and two of our tickets are still incorrect. The waitress, again, states "I'm not even able to take more tables while I get this all cleared up," again, sounding as if it's OUR fault that she's not able to take any other tables. I'm sorry, we're not the one who input the orders incorrectly, multiple times, causing you to have to fix it. It's also not our responsibility to make sure you're able to take other tables. We have been politely--seriously, we were VERY patient and didn't ask what was going on at all...we literally just waited. Thank goodness we all like each other's company, because it would have been miserable if we were sitting there waiting for 55 minutes with people we didn't care for--waiting on our corrected tickets. Now, I do know there is a SLIGHT possibility that there was a technical error with the system that made the orders get input incorrectly. In that situation, a manager likely would have come to our table to explain they were having technical issues and that they were working diligently to fix it. But we all know the more likely reason was it wasn't input into the system correctly in the first place. No manager ever came to our table. No one apologized to us for it taking so long. No manager, or other employee, attempted to help our server get it sorted out, and I do feel a bit bad for her due to that. However, for her to make the comment to us twice that she couldn't take any more tables because of us was very off putting. I was able to drive from this location, to my house 29 miles away 20 minutes faster than it took me to get my corrected check. And that, is a bit excessive. Long story short, the food is fantastic. But there definitely seems to be some things they still need to work out at this location. read more
