Alright I think it has a lower rating than it deserves because it's white people giving reviews lmao. Service was good, food came out super quick. Chips were perfect - thin, salty, and kinda melts in your mouth type. Iykyk. The Al Pastor fajita was super good and it wasn't overly sweet. The tortillas were the soft and good kind. The carne asada fries were pretty fire. Piña colada wasn't my favorite - I just prefer more colada than piña but my husband liked it. We are for sure going back. The best Mexican restaurant in Crestview! They have an excellent selection of margaritas and food. I like the fact that they add new food choices to try. Wish I had just gotten chips and salsa and skipped the meal. Cashier started off friendly but then clearly looked over my shoulder while I signed my bill, kinda rude. I bought a number 41 (pork tips), 66 (California burrito) and kids pizza meal. We did not receive our drinks. My order was over $30. Husband said burrito was fine (5/10). Burrito was warm. Says it was bland. The pork tops were over cooked and had no seasoning what so ever. The onions were undercooked and still super crunchy. And to top it off, there was two tablespoons worth (yes, I did measure) of oil in the bottom of my pan which was gross. I wouldn't order this again. My sons ($5.00) pizza seemed fine. He didn't say anything about it, he however said his fries were "yucky" and "mushy". read more

I grew up going to Azteca and the owners back then were so amazing. Being a vegetarian they would always cook something special and different up for us. We had become regulars! I loved going for the cheese dip and margs! When the owners of the place changed we didn't have the same experience as we did growing up! Definitely felt a little disappointed because we got so much care and appreciation when we went and none of that was there anymore. It has been a while seen we have been back but I would definitely want to give this place another change! I am a sucker for Mexican food and need to try it again! read more

Found this place on Yelp while searching for something to eat while passing through. It was fairly crowded, but it didn't take long to be seated. It did however take very long time to be served and to get our food. We had lots of time to notice the dirty torn carpet and food on the floor. More than 30 minutes after we arrived, we finally were fed. I had the mushroom fajitas which I found to be flavorful. I also enjoyed the salsa. The sides weren't. Beans and rice were very bland. Beans tasted like I would imagine wallpaper paste would. My family didn't enjoy their food at all - tamales and enchiladas. They said they were also very bland. The water was awful. Decent food for a decent price. the inside is kinda muggy...I wouldn't mind going back here although it would not be my first choice. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly . I had ordered the cheesed enchilada dinner. In my opinion this dish is not hard to mess up however there was a lack of flavor and to be honest it tasted frozen and microwaved. i understand that business like these have to sometimes microwave their food or whatever but you would think something like enchiladas would always be fresh. Dang it.... So close to a 5 star review.... 4 minutes waiting at the cashiers desk, no waitress with a check at our table AND the women's bathroom had no toilet paper.... BUT I will keep coming back. I enjoy the ambience and their combo nachos are epic. My wife is constantly changing up her orders but I try to stay with the healthy Pork Carnitas and switch the beans and rice with extra salad. Even makes my meal Paleo (If I can avoid those EVIl chips!!). We come here often as a "Escape" around 9:30pm after the kids are asleep to grab a chimi cheesecake with ice cream and even just nachos with an order of cheese dip..... we keep coming back to this place and almost every time I love it...... Great wings. Monday is 99 cent beers and 99 cent tacos. The tacos are pretty darn good too! The two of us were stuffed and had a few beers and wings for UNDER $20! That is a GREAT way to end a Monday! Our server was very attentive but didn't say much unless she saw our beers dwindling down. I guess this place has some sort of concert venue in the back that opens at 8:30 pm and has a cover. Pretty crazy but, I haven't been there so no telling what that's all about! After living in Texas and California I know good Mexican food and this is not it. Honestly the food is better at Taco Bell and they have terrible food. I had high hopes for some sopapillas for desert such as the one I ordered all the time in Texas however what I got at Azteca was a floured tortilla deep fried with honey sugar on top of it. Just had a dine in experience here. I've eatin at a lot of Mexican restaurants, and had some amazing fajitas, but this place could have done better. Just saying, the steak was so over cooked I could barely chew it. Everything else was very good. Our waitress was very attentive to us and took good care of us. And our drinks where amazing. Hopefully they will work on how they cook there steaks. But the manager definitely took care of us, they fixed everything and took care of us. read more

Came into tonight for dinner, not too packed due to COVID-19. Seated quickly, friendly staff, quick with drinks. Ordered and waited for what seemed to be longer than usual, with half the customers. Food arrived and I dug in. I dug into barley warm chimechanga, and cold rice. It was cooked all the way because the tortilla was not doughy. The ground beef in the "chimmey" was so salty, I'll be drinking a gallon of water later on. My dinner guest ordered tacos with ground beef and only lettuce. Low and behold....they added cheese, well just because I guess. The ground beef in the tacos was from the same batch I had because it was just as salty, and just as cold. I had an okay experience at Azteca. I had 2 margaritas and the first one had lipstick on it, but my friend noticed it after I finished it. It wasn't a big deal because I understand, I'm a server, but things like this happen. I felt like the server handled the situation incorrectly. My friend mentioned it to her and she said while laughing "I can't do anything about it, I can go get a manager for you?"
