We visited this location while on vacation in FL. It wasn't overly busy for dinner time and we were seated right away. We went with some basics for our first visit: birria, enchiladas, chimichangas. Chips and salsa came out, drinks were ok, a little light on the pour, but that might be the Vegas tastebuds talking. This was a solid 4-star experience, until it came time to get boxes for our leftovers. While we were waiting for boxes, a busser came over to the table and grabbed our plates to clear them, before we could put the food into the boxes. When my husband noted that we had been waiting for to-go boxes she placed the dishes back on the table, however, she had already placed her thumb in the food when she picked up the plate, so we were definitely not taking that home. Pointed it out and she didn't even comment. Just walked away. It was very weird. Not usually a big deal, but the portion sizes are pretty decent because the prices are pretty high, so it was a little bummer-ish. read more

Got takeout I only live three minutes from there got home, and the food was cold and the enchilada was supposed to be shredded beef. It looked more like dog food. read more

Place was great but I went in to eat the enchiladas verdes. It started out good then my next bite I bit what May have been glass sand or a bone because I almost cracked my tooth. I spit it out and sent it back with on of the servers not my original server. I stopped eatting and was charged for everything. They did offer to remake it but after that I had lost my appetite. It was ok , felt rushed. Hardly any steak for steak fajitas was over loaded with onions mostly. At least it was hot and halfway descent when you don't want to cook. I am leaving 4 stars because I had originally ordered the carne asada sopes, but was given carne asada tacos. Although the tacos were delicious, it wasn't what I had wanted. The food was ok. I ordered a wet burrito and a chicken tortilla soup. While the burrito had a good flavor, I'm glad it was a wet burrito. The ground beef was overcooked and a bit dry. For that matter, glad the soup had the obvious...broth. The chicken was overcooked and had that overcooked texture, almost gritty-like. The flavor was ok, more watered down than anything. We went to Pepper's for Cinco de Mayo today. It was super busy, but our family of 3 were seated immediately. Our waiter was attentive, the food was as amazing as always, and after having a poor experience at a different Mexican restaurant in town, we were so happy to celebrate the day at Pepper's! The restaurant was decorated with flags and cute balloons, they had a tent and tables set up outside to allow more seating, the staff were all wearing a Cinco T-shirt, so it was easy to tell who was working, and someone was walking around with Jell-O shots.....you can tell they were having fun tonight! Even with every table filled, our food came out sizzling and there wasn't a long wait either....the kitchen handled themselves as the pros they are! We will never stray from Pepper's in the future...it is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Crestview! read more

I recently moved here and bought a house, so right after closing my realtor wanted to get a celebratory drink so we went to Pepper's since it's one of her favorite places to go. It was around 5:15pm when we got there and just went to the bar. Ashley (bartender) was AWESOME! We just happened to be there on a Wednesday which come to find out is Ladies Night which mean $10 all you can drink house margaritas, wine and draft beer! Fajitas were delicious and plenty of food. Food amount, presentation and service were great. Clean and comfortable place. Will take several times to order most items in the menu and I have the feeling that will be happy with every selection. Attentive and courteous server, ordered corn tortillas but they gave me the wrong tortillas but were promptly replaced. Nothing negative about this place, very well run for the volume, didn't have to wait a lot and when the server brought the food I thought he had enough food for two stops but I was wrong, all of it was for us. Our first time was in August and because we were out of town we returned in September and I could not order anything else because the "fajitas" were still calling my name. I had a great first time experience at this restaurant. I came in during happy hour (1-5pm) and got the 2 for 1 house margaritas. The strawberry mango frozen and the passion fruit on the rocks were both good. The frozen drink I tasted more alcohol versus on the rocks which I thought was really sweet but both still very good.
