Great service, Doctor and staff. The doctor is straightforward, which I really like. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Loud and friendly, Straight up, honest Vet. I have recommended Dr Wentworth to anyone that asks. It is not about you! It is about your pet.

Wentworth and team had us out in 10 minutes; she didn't even have time to blink before the injections were done.

Finest DVM in El Paso!! She has treated our dogs and cats…read morefor year!! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I can see im an outlier here, but trust me, im not making anything up…read more... Ive been visiting Dr. Martinez for almost two years for my vet needs. I dont come from money, but i will spend whatever i have to so my dogs are healthy (within reason). Having said that, i have never been 100% satisfied with Dr.M's care, and as of this latest visit, i dont think i will ever be going back. My experiences with her clinic began when my then 7 yr old female GSD mix had a serious bout of skin irritation, and after being conned out of almost 200$ by Dr. Wentworth on Montana for a 5 minute "exam", some lame jokes, and a handful of antibiotic pills, i decided to try her out. I have experience with a half dozen vets around el paso, and for various reasons, i dont go to any of them anymore (NONE of the issues are due to nonpayment on my part). Before i continue, i must give credit where it is due. The first visit i had with Dr.M was on a day she doesnt typically see regular patients, but has designated those days as surgery days, and she spent about an hour or so talking with me and looking at my dog. I was grateful, and this is the main reason why i continued to see her even though NOT ONE of the exams she performed on my dog was complete. Dr. M NEVER ONCE got a good look at the underside of my dog, or her private parts, which are two areas where i had the most concern about with her skin irritation. NEVER ONCE put her on the table in the room and took a good look at her. Also, I always got the feeling that she was afraid of my dog, who has never hurt anything in her life. i felt obligated not to rock the boat so that my dog could at least receive SOME treatment rather than NONE. Dr. M has limited knowledge of the true causes of skin irritation, and just wrote it off as another seasonal allergy. This is the conclusion i reached because the alternative is admitting that she knows how to truly fix my dog, but chooses to only attack the SYMPTOMS so that i will continue to come back. After about 6 months of BI WEEKLY visits,(and nearly 1000$ later) my dog's skin returned to normal... for a while. Didnt take more than 3 or 4 months for the skin irritation to come back but this time i decided to trust my instincts and find a fix on my own. Knowing that when a dog has an upset stomach biome it can force the immune system to go into hyperdrive AND CAUSE ALL THE SYMPTOMS MY DOG WAS EXPERIENCING, i elected not to return to the vet just yet. Instead, i researched products and came across some chews designed to readjust their gut biome and calm the immune system and all the inflammation it was causing. SHE GOT BETTER WITHOUT MEDICATION. Unfortunately, due to money restraints, i havent been able to finish clearing up the issue yet as a steady stream of the supplements is needed to properly correct the problem for good, and she can stop taking them. Now that brings us to the BIGGEST reason i am writing this review. Same dog of mine got pregnant. Gave a litter of 7. As of now they are 2 1/2 weeks old. I am extremely protective of them and i spend every waking moment in their presence. I am not working a conventional job currently, so i have the luxury of being able to care for them 24/7. Unfortunately, what comes along with being an attentive parent is a bit of paranoia when things dont seem right. My pups began having some bad, discolored diarrhea with little white spots in it. Reading up on it i found it could be nothing, or it could be WORMS. So i take a stool sample to the Dr. and tell her all about my concerns. Now, i begin to feel she doesnt actually care about anything but the money. As we were discussing the possibilities of what could be happening to them, and the course of treatment, i discovered that the "Christian" facade she puts forth is just that, a facade. During the discussion about said worms, which can be deadly to pups especially, she informed me of needing to bring them all in for visits before she could prescribe the meds. Not an issue in itself, aside from the fact that in this moment of need i only had 40$ to work with, but upon hearing that she became a bit cold. I asked her if we could set up a payment plan, for a bill that would be less than 200$, and save 7 pups. SHE SAID NO. Now, obviously, a vet making a payment plan with a NEW customer would be a risky decision, as there is no rapport and no way of truly knowing that they will make good on the debt incurred by her services. But as ive stated, i have been seeing her for nearly TWO YEARS. As a matter of "policy", she claims NOBODY gets a payment plan under her because shes been burned before. She is afraid to lose money due to non payment, but i wonder, HOW MUCH DOES SHE CALCULATE SHE WILL LOSE BY TELLING LOYAL CLIENTS SHE WONT HELP THEM WHEN THEY NEED IT?? IF SHE TRULY CARED ABOUT THE ANIMALS, SHE WOULD ALLOW EXISTING CUSTOMERS A PAYMENT PLAN OPTION IN EMERGENCIES!! I hope this helps someone make the right decision for their pets.

Today I had to take my dog, Batman, to Eastwood Animal Clinic because the cast on his foot had…read morefallen off shortly after he first got it. When he originally got his cast, I had drawn a little heart on it that said "Mom loves you." When they had to recast his foot today, the staff paid attention to that small detail and put a heart on the new cast for me. That meant more to me than they probably realize. It showed compassion, attentiveness, and that they truly care about both their patients and the people who love them. Thank you for not only taking care of Batman, but also for taking care of my heart as a pet mom. I really appreciate the kindness and attention to detail. Highly recommend this clinic.

Also, no other vet asks for photos of IDs, not even airway hospital, golden valley, desert east, or golden valley. RUN RUN RUN!! They have no compassion when youre upset and sad, no customer care! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. FULL OF CHISMOSAS. Very terrible experience. The ladies in the back lie and gossip about customers. The recepcionist does not call you to the front to communicate with you, she yells across the desk 3 times to say the same thing as if you cannot hear. They also do not mind their business, we were referred to by another DR who is supposedly friends with this DR, yet this DR gets mad when we say that his friend from El Paso Veterinary Hospital is also a good doctor. My mom met a retired friend from customes and mentioned how we were sent here. Than the recepcionist lied and started we told people not to come here. After we recommended they spend more money on this location got a biopsy. I asked for camera proof, in which they refused to show proof. The Doctor refused to come speak to us as my mom explained that she was mentioning who sent us. DO NOT GO HERE. THE LADIES SPEAK BAD ABOUT YOU IN THE BACK BC AS WE WERE PAYING THE "SUPERVISOR" WALKED OUT AND LIED AND DENIED EMERGENCY SERVICES. So that means they were all in the back lying and discussing. They do not teach customer care and do not have any policies postex stating their employeed cannot leave the front desk, that theyre allowed to yell your personal business across the lobby. To add insult to injury, our friend whome is dealing with an issue with their dog, they didnt even bother to close their door, allowing all the people in the lobby to hear devastating news.
