**experience during covid-19 ** This place does require everyone to wear masks while inside the clinic for both customers and the staff members. They also have sanitizer available for anyone to use as needed. Let me tell you I had a stressful situation with my dog and they were able to take us in as walk-ins and took care of my dog. They have a pharmacy, lab, and x-rays in house so my dog was able to be diagnosed on the spot without having to go anywhere and also left with meds in hand. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful as far as answering the questions we had. She also took good care of my dog. The only negative thing I could say is it took all day! I was in the clinic a total of 7 hours, however, at least it was all good. They were nice enough to provide me with water twice since I didn't dare leave the clinic without my dog.

Spring 2021. I have visited the Northeast Veterinary Clinc many times in the past 6 weeks. My dog broke her paw on a Saturday around noon and they were the only Clinic in the area to promptly call me back and give me a same day appointment for my dog. They have a great system to handle the COVID19 restriction requirements and I have no complaints. It's actually perfect. They have been extremely caring to our needs and they are relatively affordable specially for the quality of care we have received. I am so glad my dog is now their patient. I highly recommend them. The only con is that due to their population unless it is an emergency its hard to get a "soon" appointment for any other type of care but the wait time is totally worth it.

Warning do not go to this facility they are only money Grab They care less about your dog they just want the money I spent thousands and they Could not tell me what's wrong with him All they could tell me is we could put him to sleep he was only 5 years old And their CT machine is not working it is broken And he said I never lost one yet

On September 5, 2020 my baby Romeo passed away at Northeast veterinary clinic. I was told I would be receiving a paw print so, I waited almost 4 weeks to call them. When I called them I was informed that because they did not do their paperwork I would not be receiving my poodles last paw print. They then told me that they would refund my money but I do not wanna refund. This is extremely unprofessional in my opinion they did not care to do the paperwork in order for me to get the final paw print of my of my beloved poodle for past 10 years. It shows how careless unprofessional cruel and inhumane they are to their customers. And one day I hope they feel the pain that I am feeling right now. Next time get it right

Always slow as molasses. Dog keeps having reoccurring problems, so not sure if they actually help my dog or not. Expensive.

Finest DVM in El Paso!! She has treated our dogs and cats…read morefor year!! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I can see im an outlier here, but trust me, im not making anything up…read more... Ive been visiting Dr. Martinez for almost two years for my vet needs. I dont come from money, but i will spend whatever i have to so my dogs are healthy (within reason). Having said that, i have never been 100% satisfied with Dr.M's care, and as of this latest visit, i dont think i will ever be going back. My experiences with her clinic began when my then 7 yr old female GSD mix had a serious bout of skin irritation, and after being conned out of almost 200$ by Dr. Wentworth on Montana for a 5 minute "exam", some lame jokes, and a handful of antibiotic pills, i decided to try her out. I have experience with a half dozen vets around el paso, and for various reasons, i dont go to any of them anymore (NONE of the issues are due to nonpayment on my part). Before i continue, i must give credit where it is due. The first visit i had with Dr.M was on a day she doesnt typically see regular patients, but has designated those days as surgery days, and she spent about an hour or so talking with me and looking at my dog. I was grateful, and this is the main reason why i continued to see her even though NOT ONE of the exams she performed on my dog was complete. Dr. M NEVER ONCE got a good look at the underside of my dog, or her private parts, which are two areas where i had the most concern about with her skin irritation. NEVER ONCE put her on the table in the room and took a good look at her. Also, I always got the feeling that she was afraid of my dog, who has never hurt anything in her life. i felt obligated not to rock the boat so that my dog could at least receive SOME treatment rather than NONE. Dr. M has limited knowledge of the true causes of skin irritation, and just wrote it off as another seasonal allergy. This is the conclusion i reached because the alternative is admitting that she knows how to truly fix my dog, but chooses to only attack the SYMPTOMS so that i will continue to come back. After about 6 months of BI WEEKLY visits,(and nearly 1000$ later) my dog's skin returned to normal... for a while. Didnt take more than 3 or 4 months for the skin irritation to come back but this time i decided to trust my instincts and find a fix on my own. Knowing that when a dog has an upset stomach biome it can force the immune system to go into hyperdrive AND CAUSE ALL THE SYMPTOMS MY DOG WAS EXPERIENCING, i elected not to return to the vet just yet. Instead, i researched products and came across some chews designed to readjust their gut biome and calm the immune system and all the inflammation it was causing. SHE GOT BETTER WITHOUT MEDICATION. Unfortunately, due to money restraints, i havent been able to finish clearing up the issue yet as a steady stream of the supplements is needed to properly correct the problem for good, and she can stop taking them. Now that brings us to the BIGGEST reason i am writing this review. Same dog of mine got pregnant. Gave a litter of 7. As of now they are 2 1/2 weeks old. I am extremely protective of them and i spend every waking moment in their presence. I am not working a conventional job currently, so i have the luxury of being able to care for them 24/7. Unfortunately, what comes along with being an attentive parent is a bit of paranoia when things dont seem right. My pups began having some bad, discolored diarrhea with little white spots in it. Reading up on it i found it could be nothing, or it could be WORMS. So i take a stool sample to the Dr. and tell her all about my concerns. Now, i begin to feel she doesnt actually care about anything but the money. As we were discussing the possibilities of what could be happening to them, and the course of treatment, i discovered that the "Christian" facade she puts forth is just that, a facade. During the discussion about said worms, which can be deadly to pups especially, she informed me of needing to bring them all in for visits before she could prescribe the meds. Not an issue in itself, aside from the fact that in this moment of need i only had 40$ to work with, but upon hearing that she became a bit cold. I asked her if we could set up a payment plan, for a bill that would be less than 200$, and save 7 pups. SHE SAID NO. Now, obviously, a vet making a payment plan with a NEW customer would be a risky decision, as there is no rapport and no way of truly knowing that they will make good on the debt incurred by her services. But as ive stated, i have been seeing her for nearly TWO YEARS. As a matter of "policy", she claims NOBODY gets a payment plan under her because shes been burned before. She is afraid to lose money due to non payment, but i wonder, HOW MUCH DOES SHE CALCULATE SHE WILL LOSE BY TELLING LOYAL CLIENTS SHE WONT HELP THEM WHEN THEY NEED IT?? IF SHE TRULY CARED ABOUT THE ANIMALS, SHE WOULD ALLOW EXISTING CUSTOMERS A PAYMENT PLAN OPTION IN EMERGENCIES!! I hope this helps someone make the right decision for their pets.

It's taken me over a year to bring myself. to write this.... I cannot put in words the anguish I…read moreexperienced when it was time to say goodbye to my sweet Hank. Having to say goodbye is a horrible experience and I don't wish it on anyone. However, the staff at Crossroads stopped everything they were doing to be there for me. It was dramatic but I ran out and just sat on the curb and cried. A staff member I don't know who, came outside gave me some water and just held me. She didn't speak she just held me tight. She got me on my car and waited till I was safe to drive home. I cannot remember anyones names and I don't think I ever even looked to see what they were but I remember what the staff did and how supportive they were. Thank you.

I was really disappointed today. I've been coming here for over 14 years. However, the push to get…read moreyou to spend money has really taken over. I recently went to get my 13 yr old arthritic dog some more pain medication. At the time, when I was asked how he is doing, I said he was slow to get up and move around. The vet tech said, so lethargic? I answered, not really lethargic, just you can tell he doesn't want to get up. Apparently he writes in the file lethargic. At the appointment, another vet tech suggests $1000 in tests to better see what is wrong. The over $200 blood tests we did 6 months ago told us nothing. Two days after, I get a post card that my dog needs his rabies vaccination. I call up, said hey I was just there, no one mentioned he needed a shot, do I need to pay another $76 for a visit Just to get that shot? The very rude receptionist said, well you said your dog was lethargic, and we don't suggest vaccinations to sick dogs. I tried to explain the miscommunication, but it didn't matter. I feel tricked, like this was done on purpose to get more money. I used to really like it there. I guess after this dog passes, I will look for someplace new for my other dog.
