I have been coming here for years and this is definitely my favorite place in all of Tucson for a Sonoran Dog!

All of the Visitor's guides said that when in Tucson I must try a Sonoran Dog! I checked with Yelp and this place had 5 Stars and was five minutes from our hotel. We drove through an warehouse/industrial area to discover a food truck with an awning with table and chairs. We were promptly great and the menu was explained to us. All of the hot dogs had the same ingredients but there was a choice of bread! I went with the Super Chipilon (garlic toasted bread with cheese) and everything on the hotdog with a Mexican Coke. The hotdog was DELICIOUS! The bread melted in my mouth and the ingredients were fresh and blended well. The roasted yellow chile was a really nice added flavor. Never thought pinto beans and hotdogs went together but they definitely did on this delicious dog! Great price for a delicious filling meal. Do yourself a favor and stop buy if you are ever in the area!

My coworkers and I enjoy this food truck on lunch breaks and even have it catered when we have the option. They are a great group of people and the food is always good. I definitely recommend this truck as we always bring people from out of town to stop by and it's always enjoyed.

Being from Los Angeles my go to is always tacos. But El Perro Loco has become one of my favorite go to places here in Tucson!! The service is great, the Sonoran dogs are amazing and I love the fact that fries are part of their menu! You can't go wrong with El Perro Loco.

Honestly the most authentic and delicious hotdog I've had in a long time. The service was exceptionally fast and very friendly! I will happily drive 30 minutes to eat here again.

Stopped by here for a Sonoran dog. You have to give this place a try. One of the best Sonoran dogs I've ever had.

Ok, so I am definitely a snob when it comes to Sonoran Hot dogs. I will try them at any place I go, however I will not like them at every place I try them. I have been coming here for the last decade and they never strain from their deliciousness! I will admit, this is the only place where I will crave the Sonoran Hot dogs! Their customer service is always on point. Always very friendly. Their wait time can sometimes be a little long but only because of how much business they have, which is always a good sign. Thats how good they are! My absolute favorite is ordering their Chipilones, no bacon and no beans and extra Jalapeño salsa. The bread is one of my favorite, Its a little bit sweet but not over powering and their Jalapeño salsa yummm finger licking good! They are a must try for sure! Also, great for parties! My brother in law hired them for his daughters bday party and they take a little truck to where you are and all the sides as well, and freshly made. Each hot dog (even at the party) where made fresh to order. Aahhh will be getting them for my next party. For sure! Highly recommend them. There are several stands all around town but to me, i think because its the original stand where it started, I prefer this stand to all the others. But they taste just as good.

    I love the exploded diagram.

Another wonderful Sonoran Dog food truck in Tucson! The prices are in line for Tucson at $2.75 for a Chipilon style dog or a Super Chipilon. Bottled drinks are $2.00. I had the Super Chipilon with a toasted bun "with a garlic twist." It was essentially a garlic bun like garlic toast. It was a good twist! I liked it. I also had the Quesadogo, which is a quesadilla with hot dog slices, peppers, onions, and the cheese. Very good. Comes with two halves. I still think the king of Sonoran Dogs in Tucson is Hotdog Solution. It edges out everyone because somehow, he gets more of the bacon flavor to come out. But El Perro Loco is still in the top 1% and a go-to Sonoran Dog food truck. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Came in Sunday after church. I was unsure about what to order but the cashier, Manny, was able to…read morethoroughly answer all my questions. I love corn dogs and hotdogs in general so I was pretty excited to try this. I decided on the American dog which was so so so good. They did this perfectly. Sweet cornmeal outside with a delicious beef dog on the inside. The cornmeal coating had good flavor but the texture was softer, like it's mixed with flour. The taste was still sweet and reminiscent of a traditional corndog. I also got the Two Hands dog, half beef and half mozz. It was surprisingly good. I got the ranch on the side. The flavor was unique, slightly sweet and slightly savory. It did not have a huge amount of flavor which made it pair really well with the delicious tangy ranch. The breading for the this was flour so the texture is softer. The mozzarella was interesting and there was a lot of it. Both dogs were huge. I'd say 2 is a good amount for dinner and it came out to $11. I would come back! I think it's an interesting and fun concept that is executed well. I'd probably get this same exact order again.

I really like Korean corn dogs. I like the chewy texture of the crust and melty mozzarella. I even…read moreusually like the sugar topping, but this most recent visit was just not up to snuff. The staff was incredibly sweet and made me feel welcome. I ordered the combo meal with a corn dog, fries, and a drink ($13), selecting the crispy rice corn dog (half cheese, half dog, of course), kimchi fries, and a taro boba (additional $2). Unfortunately, the crispy rice and sugar combo was just nooooot the right move. I definitely should have picked something else because the texture of the crispy rice was dry, and coupled with the sugar... It was just not a great experience to say the least, haha. The kimchi fries were flavorful and crunchy, so I have no complaints about that. But the boba... Hooooly. It was the worst boba I've ever had, and that's not an exaggeration. The texture of the taro (milk tea??) was close to pudding, so it was like I was chewing my drink--which is the expectation when you're eating *boba*, but not drinking *tea*. The flavor was decent, but it was so difficult to drink because it was just thick and gooey. It was genuinely horrendous. Worse yet, the boba was wrong! The tapioca pearls weren't sweet and chewy; instead, they were cakey and broke in one bite! No chew, no flavor, then combine it with the gooey, pudding-like taro "milk tea" makes for the worst boba drink ever. Overall, I can't write off Two Hands because I KNOW that their other corn dogs are good, but DO NOT waste your money on a boba. Just hop across the street for Ni Hao Tea.
