Heard so much about Raising Canes. Even tried to go into a new one in D.C. a few weeks before…read more Turned out it was so new it was opened yet. Anyway. Saw that there was one on the path to the Denver airport. I could gas up the rental car and get some chow before entering the land of over priced airport food. Look the service was fine and the food was ok. But there was nothing special about the chicken fingers or the fries, or the sauce for that matter. The tenders were lacking in any real flavor on their own. They need some spice. Same with the crinkle fries. As a delivery mechanism for the Outback Bloomin Onion style sauce thats about all you could say for the main dish and side. But I didn't even use all the sauce, so paying extra for more is right out. I found it interesting that you need to ask at the counter, and get a code, to use the restroom. It looked like a nice enough area, but obviously there must be a reason for it. We're due to get some of these restaurants near me, but I don't have any reason to go back. Chick-Fil-A, KFC, Popeyes, or Savvy Sliders all offer vastly better product. This is a 3 not because of anything bad. Just wasn't anything better than 2.5 average.

This evening we decided to have canes for dinner. We had ordered a Diet Coke with our meal. When my…read morehusband approaches the window the lady gave him the drink but said it was a dr.pepper. He made sure and said "no I had ordered a Diet Coke" she then changed her answer and said oh yea it's a Diet Coke. And in fact it WAS NOT A DIET COKE!!!! How dare you lie to a paying customer of something they had ordered! Super disappointed in this evenings service.

With the ever groing chicken tender spots, kickin chicken has a spot in the Denver food scene. What…read moremakes them stand out are the fresh ingredients and being the only Asian inspired with a Mexican twist joint out there (correct me if I'm wrong). There are many hot chickens, but those flavors get tiring and honestly it's more one dimensional in taste. The chicken Katsu isn't your traditional Hawaiian/Japanese but it's close. They put their own twist on it and it delivered. I personally still prefer the Hawaiian style chicken Katsu but this is very good. I wish the Mac salad was creamier as it was pretty dry that night. The elote was good, but nothing to rave about. The fried rice complimented the chicken well. White rice would also go well to help with the saltiness of the chicken. The tenders are good and juicy. It has a light breading which is great since it emphasizes the meat of the chicken well. They priced their meals perfectly and its cheaper than many places which makes it a hit. I wish I can give it a 5 but it's closer to a 4.25. Kickin chicken will be in my rotation for post shift meals since it's conveniently placed across the street!

Super clean and modern. It started to get full at lunch and people told me they are there often.

The staff were friendly & the service was fast. There was plenty of parking too. I ordered the Freddy's Original Patty Melt Combo & it was very good. The patty melt had two thin steak burger patties with crispy edges, (cooked to order), Swiss cheese, grilled onions all on toasted rye bread. This was a yummy sandwich! I also had Freddy's Fries which were seasoned Shoestring Fries with Freddy's Famous Fry Sauce which was delicious. The fries were tasty but I prefer a thicker fry. This was a good meal & I look forward to trying some of their other items. Note, they also have Senior Combo Meals as well as fry sauce & seasonings by the bottle.

Both individuals were so nice happy and professional about their job. It's definitely something that is lacking more and more in Denver and Aurora, great customer service by simply being polite, accommodating, and really taking on the role of your job. The food was fantastic as well.
