Now, you might have a chasm about my review, but I think this restaurant deserves an augment of stars than what it currently has. The chicken was grilled to perfection and very tender! Beans, rice, guacamole, all the little extras that they give are perfect! The guacamole had to be ordered separately. Same with the salsas (served in to go containers with lids). The tortillas were the only thing to be served like a regular restaurant, but I'm pretty sure they're store bought. This chicken is so good. The cactus is also amazing, the horchata on point, the burritos filling and delicious...omg yes it's all great and the staff is friendly too! There was literally nothing we could possibly find wrong with the restaurant. Also I was impressed how eco-friendly they were. Very subtly. They don't advertise it much but I watched them very efficiently cook their meat and use more reusable bowls/plates than anything else. The cook talked to us and helped us try something we never had before. It's too bad there's only 5 stars. This one deserves 6.5! read more

As others have mentioned. This is one of the best grilled chicken on the cheap. When I went there on a Saturday evening, it was empty and the grill was off. I ordered a half chicken with rice & beans + guacamole. The chicken was already grilled and was promptly chopped up while the waitress made the guac on the spot. I have to say that the portion is quite good. The order was enough for 2. The chicken was a bit hard, probably because it wasn't fresh off the grill, but i like my chicken hard anyway. The meat was well marinated and was flavorful through out (unlike most other places). The side orders were alright but the guac was quite good. I definitely recommend this place, despite it's off the main road location. read more

When I'm too lazy to drive the distance to Seaside yet I'm craving a good burrito, this is my go to spot. A very small menu but often times those are the best places as they don't try to over complicate things. They specialize in a few things and make them well. I've ordered the super chicken and super carne Asada burritos and both have been fantastic. I was a little sad to learn there was no cheese in it but I definitely didn't miss it once I tasted it. The meat has a lot of flavor. I tend to prefer the chicken as that seems to be their specialty. I've also ordered the guacamole which is great- fresh and filling. We have also ordered a half chicken with the tortillas and beans which was also a fun way to enjoy a mini made tacos ourselves. You can ask for them to cut up cilantro as well. I've actually never been to the restaurant in person and I've only order through GrubHub and it is worth the aggravation of dealing with summer tourist traffic trying to get over there. In an area that's mostly geared towards tourists I find this place is pretty authentic for your standard Mexican chicken grilled spot. There's a bunch of these types of places in LA so thankfully we have at least one in this area. read more
