Came with my family for a nice dinner. When we arrived the gentleman at the front was very kind and seated us very quickly. Once we got to our table, it was a whole different story. Our waitress kept ignoring our table, and took several food orders of people who arrived after us. Once we did order, our food took very long to be delivered to our table. And when it did get to our table the hamburgers were warm, and the meat on the parrilla was dry as if it had been sitting on it for a while. The lady who refilled our chips was great and very attentive. And the beans and rice were good. But the service was awful to say the least. I have been here before, and used to frequent the one in Dallas, and service have never been this bad. read more

The food is AWFUL. I order the nacho plate and it literally looks like someone put shredded cheese on top of nacho chips and stuck it in the microwave. This was our first time going on Saturday From the moment we walked in till we left all the people working at the Arlington location are rude ! The reason I stuck it thru I kept thinking it will get better maybe the manager had a bad day maybe our waiter had a bad day maybe the host had a bad day but nope this is not a place you want to bring family or friends don't spend your time and money here The service is the worst ! We have visited 3 times now. We loved it the first two times. It the third time was awful. We are a small family and they sat us a huge table, we waited about 15 mins for a server and the server was rude. She was in a rush and took our whole order at once. The chile rellano tasted like a freezer. I ordered a cheese enchilada for our small child and she brought us a huge order...and charged us more than kid price. Also, she topped it off with a huge handful of jalapeños on one side. Finally, while we got crappy rushed service I observed that she had plenty of time to spend with a mariachi band member. Also, same server knocked a food stand over 4 times!! 4 times and just left it right at my husbands chair. Careless person. Needless to say we won't be returning. The loud mariachi band was too much, the food was bad and the service was bad. Our final overall experience was terrible. read more

This is such an awesome place! The food is delicious and they have the best happy hour! First I must mention the refried beans are the best I've ever had at any restaurant. The rice is also very good. They serve one of my favorite dishes mole enchiladas and it is a great dish here. My husband had the fried catfish which isn't you're typical Mexican restaurant meal but it was giant! The breading was a beer based breading with a little spice to it. So good! Did I mention the Happy Hour? The drinks are great and inexpensive and you can also get a large nacho plate for only $5! During their 12-6 Happy Hour. We have tried this place out a few time before this review The food good but on the smaller side of the portions They always seat you in the bar area 1st then the surrounding area start being used ( I hate to sit in the bar area ) I asked to be seated else where and they are told fill bar area up 1st , we place the drink and appetizer order the drinks came in an ok time but not the appetizer then our food comes out like I said it's on the smaller side and I asked for our appetizer he said I'll go get it , I told him not to bother ( 2nd time this had happened ) they do have weird rice has carrots and green peas in it bland tasting tho , we eat and need refills on drinks and we have to go find our waiter we have to wait 20 minuets after we finish to get our check to pay and noticed he did not remove the appetizer off our check so we had to wait again , then had to wait for the cashier to come back to his area , OMG !!!! Nice atmosphere and Great Margaritas! Food, however, could be better. Tacos are the size of Street Tacos and for $18.95 the Taco Al Carbon is over priced. The meat was good, but 3 small tacos served with a plate of mostly lettuce and no cheese, well... we turned it into a salad. Enchiladas were nothing to write home about either, ok, just not impressive. With a ton of other Tex Mex options in the area, we will probably not return. read more

I ordered chicken fajitas, no beans. I got chicken, sausage, and some kind of rib thing. I told the waitress that the order was wrong, supposed to be chicken fajitas. After a long time the exact meal came back with chicken added. The manager said those were the chicken fajitas and that I had pointed at my friends dish... ???? All I did was verbally ask for chicken fajitas no beans... sooo I asked if I could have some tortillas, guacamole or sour cream to go with my "fajitas". I was told I had tortillas, the 3 that came with my friend's meal. My friend was done with her meal by the time I got everything. Very strange experience that no one understood what chicken fajitas were, when they were on the menu. I really, really wanted to like this restaurant. Being a locally owned business. But I'm sorry, it was horrible!!! I can write a book on the horrible queso that was like yellow water. Or the burnt chicken fajitas. But the absolute worst was our party shared 1 single order of fajitas and one plate of enchiladas. 2 iced teas and 2 margaritas that were SOO awful that we ordered a shot of tequila that we were charged 10$ each for. Even though we asked for the "house" tequila. Our bill was 103.00 without tax or tip. I really don't usually do reviews, but this was SO horrible that I have to warn you. Don't waste your time or money. We didn't eat even 2 bites of our food and actually laughed when they asked if we wanted to take it with us. read more

Finally got around to eating here. There are several baby goat plates. I figured I would just start with chicken suizas enchiladas and work my up to goat (Cabrito). The enchiladas were great! The refried beans had a very good flavor. The rice was just traditional Mexican rice - nothing special. The chips and hot sauce were good but just "so so" when compared to other spots. They had a spicier green sauce but we had to ask for it. It was better and hotter than they one given with chips. My hubby ordered the chile relleno. He said it was good. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE!!!!!! My family placed reservations a week early, a party of 40. We arrive and they sat us down, they only gave us ONE server. We asked the server if he had someone else to help him because he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to attend everyone. So they gave us 2 options either they place it on one big bill and 1 person pays it and then we pay that person back OR they split the bill in 4 ways and 4 people each get a bill! STUPID!!!! So they gave us the bill in 4 ways, not to mention each bill was different and absolutely confusing because everyone's food was one a different bill and had to look around for what you ordered. My familys food was on 3 of the tickets! It was too confusing doing that so my aunt offered to pay the ticket And we had to send her money through Zelle. NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO DO THAT! PERIOD! Was looking forward to seeing something succeed in the old Buck & Loons restaurant, but in my opinion this is not it. The chips were thick and tough. Queso is blah. The fajitas were lacking serious seasoning. The flour tortillas were store bought and tough. The prices were extremely high for what you get and what they have.
