Service was good but I was the only one in the place. Food came out super fast but that can also be a bad sign. Meat was overcooked across the board. Pastor meat was mush. Plate covered in oil. Pineapple drink tasted fermented. So I would question how long that juice has been sitting there. Place was empty and probably reflects the shopping area, not many people around. I've dined in here before very over priced except for the Gorditas, which in this occasion I got beans and cheese Gorditas to go, two for me and two for my brother, on my second one I saw an onion took it out and thought it was a piece that went by unnoticed. After that one another one that brought a very nasty taste to my mouth, that I still taste now. I opened my gordita and there were a couple more onions and a piece of cilantro. I ordered trio taco take out and I didn't realize they had a special with the taco's. I asked if I could get the special and they were so nice about the change. We eat all over the Metroplex and usually love every place we go. We were disappointed by our expectations we had read about this place. It is in a shopping center that is more closed than open. Inside the restaurant was good and the waitress was friendly and on top of everything throughout the meal. My fajitas were good, the tacos were good, and the enchiladas were good. One of us ordered a meal that turned out to be a sandwich with all kinds of deli type meat on it. If that was what she expected it would be fine, but that's not what you expect in a Mexican restaurant. The tortillas might be good for some depending on your taste, but my Tex-Mex taster didn't like them. They served a strange beer and our one person who drinks alcohol was very disappointed in it. There were other people there so they do a pretty good business, but we won't go back. (They did have cookies to sell at the counter. My favorite place to go for vegetarian enchiladas! They have an avocado enchilada that is to die for! It comes with charo beans and veggies, which i love because I'm not a huge fan of Mexican rice. We dined here (or attempted to) this past Saturday. We parked & there were 4 vehicles so we didn't think anything of it, we walked in and were greeted right away & were seated. There was only one other table occupied, we thought they were closed because they were hanging things up. We were told they only had a few choices of soft drinks bc their drink machine was down. They weren't serving any alcohol, who knows why. My husband ordered a shrimp cocktail which he said tasted like nothing but clamato yuck, I ordered barbacoa which ended up being some other type of barbacoa than what i know (shredded beef with red seasoning) we told the waiter the food was not good & we offered to pay for the food but we weren't going to eat it. The waiter was so nice & told us we didn't have to pay for something we didn't like just our drinks. He recommended us getting something from the grill next time & he would give us a discount if we were willing to try their food again. So we agreed, paid for our drinks and left. We felt horrible, I hope they improve. Seems like they are new owners. read more
