I was looking for a local Spanish style restaurant in the Rincon town of Georgia and found El Real. Authentic Mexican cuisine with a very diverse menu and a beautifully authentic décor. The food, atmosphere, and attention to detail made for a great dining experience. Ordered the steak Fajitas and it was tender and well-seasoned, and every bite was fresh and satisfying. I had the Carne Guiado and it was killer! The beef chunks were very tender and the veggies were al dente. rice and beans were delicious as well. Service means a lot when dining out, and El Real gets it right all the time. We're always happily greeted at the door. We were seated quick during the lunch rush. We were given time to look over the menu, so many great choices, they have all the Mexican dishes from enchiladas to fajitas, sopas, flautists, burritos, tacos and more. They have a great margarita selection. I had a mango margarita today, it was tasty. Lunch was served hot and delicious, lunch, steak fajitas for me today, and they were delicious. Service was great, the meal I ordered "carne asada" did not taste like it had orange zest or marinated in the citrus blend I've known for it to contain. I've been eating here for 20 years now or a little more. First started with taking a former girlfriend on a first date many years ago and the quality of food and service kept me coming to this place. I'm 40 years old now, I was 18-19 years old then and even today I can walk in and the owner and staff still give me love and respect. Never had a bad experience with this restaurant. The food is always great and fresh, the service is great, it's literally my favorite Mexican food experience and I've been all around. I'm just glad it's close to home and it's better knowing the owners and staff are great people. It makes the experience and service even better. read more

The staff at El Real were super friendly and attentive; from helping me figure out the name of my usual go-to dish (every place calls it something different!) to checking on us often and keeping our drinks full. The food came out quickly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the meal. We were seated at a four-top, which felt a bit tight for our group, but it didn't take away from the experience. My Texas Rice was delicious, and my husband thought his Burrito Grande was decent. The real win? Our kids ate every bite of their quesadillas--which is no small feat! Came in today, a Friday, around 5:30 and got seated immediately. Staff was friendly and nice. We ordered margaritas & our dinner shortly after. Drinks were 10/10! As soon as our food came out and hit the table our waitress came over to make sure everything looked good and it did. Food was well cooked, seasoned, and very good! However our waitress didn't come back to our table until 15ish minutes later when we were fished eating with our receipt in hand. I had full intent on ordered more drinks & even trying the fried icecream but since she brought us the check I just went ahead and told her I was going to order more but I won't now since you're ready for us to leave. This was our first time here and I'd like to come back and try it again but a big no no in food service is to just bring the receipt to the table without asking if everyone is okay & if they want or need anything else. read more

What a surprise !! Driving through Rincon, Ga, felt it was time for lunch.... So we stopped along the road at El Real. Stepping inside, it had a nice Mexican decor..... not overdone, in our opinion. Pretty crowded. We sat at the bar and Jenne was our Bartender. Very friendly with a nice smile !! We ordered our drinks, then the 2 Shrimp Tacos dish with rice & beans to split. They didn't skimp on the shrimp in the tacos. Everything was very tasty. Their salsa was exceptionally good. Not too spicy but full of flavor. Our daughter introduced us to this restaurant many years ago, but at the time we lived in MN so our exposure was only on annual visits to her home as she lives in the area. Since then we have moved to the vicinity and now count ourselves as weekly visitors. In general, the owners and workers have everything right. Good food (although some dishes could use more seasoning) and the best margaritas in the area--and we have experience in judging. On business I traveled to several Mexican cities and Texas cities and have had plenty of exposure to great ones, and unfortunately in (chains) exposure to weak, sweet ones. I make mine at home so I know what 'real' tastes like. These are the closest in the area!! Particularly the 'Skinny' marg. Current flavor packed food plate, are the steak Fajitas...A really good value as a lunch special. Hot and tender flour tortillas, Spanish rice and refrieds, usual fixings and we always order their delicious guacamole added. Satisfying and delicious at a reasonable price. The only thing additional is this: due to the times we are in, please have patience with the servers as they are short-handed (aren't most restaurants these days?) but they are very well intentioned and will serve you as well as they can. The food is consistently delicious and the drinks! Whoa! The drinks are strong! I love the frozen margarita mixed with sangria! Last time we ate there the food was mediocre. The service was typical for a Mexican restaurant. The previous owners had left the place to start another business. Los Bravos in Pooler which I highly recommend that. As for El Real it is a place I would eat if I had no other options for Mexican food. read more

Right behind our city hall, stands El Real Mexican Restaurant. As soon as you enter this unassuming restaurant, you smell the sweet aromas of Mexican cooking, I had tilapia. It was well seasoned and prepared to perfection. My wife had a taco dish, the fried beans were pleasantly seasoned, but a little runny. Not sure where to start, Ordered a spicy Michelada . First of all who puts ice in there beer , really ?? Watered down in 3 minutes plus the mix they use is not good. The chips were over cooked , there salsa almost tasted like picante chunky from the dollar general. The wife ordered a fajita burrito. Well she got chicken rolled up with some red sauce on it. Apparently you have to ask for the bell peppers and onions on the side of your fajita burrito if you actually want a fajita burrito, her rice waste blan . I ordered chicken flautas alacart what a disappointment that was, besides being well over cooked they didn't even garnish the plate. No lettuce tomatoes sour cream. Nothing just 3 rolled up almost black flautas. What an absolute disappointment. Will not be going back. Also try and use the restroom before going there. It's a complete health violation. read more

We went there for a work lunch and the waitress was very attentive and got all of our orders correct without using pen and paper . As you can see from my picture i was quite hungry and didn't take a picture until the end and there wasn't much left on the plate.
