I have only been to the Cancun on Wilmington Island. Waitstaff are friendly, knowledgeable and will make suggestions if asked. Food is cooked to order and comes out hot and fresh. Plenty of indoor seating with room to move between tables and booths. Everything I have tried has been on point!! read more

It's my first time visiting Savannah and I stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and I absolutely loved it! The service was very quick and to-the-point and we were able to sit outside on the patio which was super cute and peaceful. I ordered the combo dinner with two tacos and rice and beans and I chose the carnitas and a carne asada tacos. All of the food was wonderful (including the chips and salsa) but the tacos were truly outstanding. So flavorful and really generous portions. I highly recommend this place! read more

A fine, authentic Mexican restaurant! My son and I stopped in for lunch and had an excellent experience. We were immediately greeted by the staff and seated. Our waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere is authentic Mexican decor and most of the staff is Hispanic. My son had the Shrimp tacos and I had the Shredded Chicken tacos. The Shrimp tacos were perfect. The Chicken tacos were a little touch, but still very good. A fine restaurant that I would definitely visit again. read more

Manager unprofessional and racists I was assigned to an order that been made for 30 mins the previous driver didn't pick up the order so uber eats assigned me and when I went to get the order the manager yelled at me and said the order been ready for 30 mins and I explained to him it wasn't my fault the previous driver didn't show up so he was being nasty and my daughter wanted a sprite she was thirsty from school the manager refused to sell me a drink for my 6 year old daughter I wouldn't recommend no one to go to the restaurant their customer rate is a 3 unprofessional, racist and cruel to children, my daughter feelings was so hurt! read more

Worst! I wanted to like this place I remember from my years of growing up on the island. Went in last week and was sorely disappointed. Top shelf margarita was ice, mixture from a jug, and a shot of grand Grand Marnier. Sat at the bar where they had a vat of mixture taking up bar space, so unprofessional. Do not eat here, chips tasted like they came from a stale bag, salsa gave me instant heartburn. We left it was so bad. Take the drive downtown to Tequila's Town-leaps and bounds more amazing. Sorry Cancun you might have been a powerhouse in the 1990's unfortunately now it's time you retire. read more

Been eating here every couple of weeks for 4 years. Best Mexican food on the islands. Great margaritas and normal beer menu with good prices. Food is fast and fresh. Waiters are super friendly and attentive. Only complaint is that they are closed on Sunday...but it's Savannah, GA so not a surprise. Place can get crowded after 630 so early is better. read more

Terrible customer service! Food is averag, so you are better off eating at a place who have great service like Patron or Tequila's Town.

saving graces--the refried beans were really delicious, and the chips are better than Jalapeno's: very light and crispy. negatives--drunk and obnoxious loud locals (there was a lady on her hands and knees on a table in the back dining room and not one employee did anything about it); we had to ask for napkins and silverware; the margaritas are sugar sour-mix affairs with little tequila; the tacos were soggy and fell apart; the staff were generally unfriendly and did not welcome us or say thank you/good night when we left; the salsa has WAY too much cilantro and tastes like dishwater. All in all, a very poor experience and we will NOT be back. read more

Ive been doing the take out thing here 2 or 3 times a month for years. I usually stick with the nachos. Its a tasty inexpensive meal ready in about 10 minutes. Perfect for days when i dont have much time. Large portions with a bag of chips and salsa. read more

Very affordable and really good family restaurant! We used to go every week during my husband's tour in Savannah, since we were within walking distance. We took family and friends all the time and everybody loved it. Their margaritas are a really good deal, very inexpensive and pretty good! My favorite is the vegetarian fajitas, my husband's tacos al carbón. I've also had the tacos, chile relleno, tostada, taco salad and they're all equally delicious! read more

Our favorite Mexican place on the island. Good, basic tex mex comfort food. Very reasonably priced and wonderful staff.

Friendly staff. Way over priced for the short cuts taken on ingredients that these owners serve up! I got the shrimp cocktail, served up Mexican style,( coctel de camarones) the shrimp cocktail sauce is like a sweet bloody mary kind of sauce that had a pico de gayo twist in it as well. It was over priced for a 16oz. cup. It had just 4 shrimp in it for just under 10 bucks. I got a side of bean nachos. I asked that they put the jalapenos on them before cooking. The nachos come out swimming in queso with about 2 table spoons of beans on them. Note to the owner when someone is dropping 20 plus bucks for dinner they expect better nachos than what Moe's serves up. Nothing worse than buyers remorse! read more

Our expectations weren't too high but being that we were so hungry we were like whateverrrrr. First off the horchata was pretty awesome, the carne asada was OK... Just ok... The rice tasted funky. At best, Cancun is poorly executed Tex Mex. It's like they asked someone who had never actually tasted Mexican food to come up with this stuff. Our guacamole was more sour cream than avocado. It was really just avocado flavored sour cream. Also, how can you call yourself a Mexican restaurant and serve tacos like that? Boiled, bland, boring. I SCOFF AT YOUR TACOS! Seriously though, don't waste your time at this place. Nice folks, terrible food. read more

My wife and I love Mexican food. We try every Mexican restaurant we can find. Savanna has many Mexican restaurants, and the food at Cancun is, in my estimation, among the three best of 10 or so in the Savannah area. We went at mid-afternoon, so there were only a couple of parties eating there. The decoure is nothing special. read more

Ok this place has decent food but the service is terrible. Temp 37 and they sat us at a table between 2 window (one at my back and one at the side). Had to ask to be moved. Asked 3 times for more chips and dip and still none. When waiter finally came back to give us our check I had to let him know that I never got my taco. One in group ordered fajitas. They brought meat and veggies and we has to ask for the wraps. Come on now! Ok time for check out and still no refill on chips, cheese and salsa. Would not recommend this place to a friend. Also a member of our group ordered #15, only to be informed by the waiter that was from an older menu and it the sides were were not included. read more
