Luckily we didn't need to drive far before we spotted this carniceria. Its parking lot was pretty full with many cars coming and going, which indicated that it was open. The store sold a variety of meat and snacks, much as what you'd expect from any other carniceria. But most people were here for the taqueria portion - you could get a box of cooked meat to go for ~$13-17 per pound, which was a pretty good deal. There were some tables inside the taqueria, but they were slightly dirty, and most people were just taking their food to go. We got a few quesadillas to share. They were huge and stuffed with well-seasoned chicken breast meat, and came with sides of rice and beans, or salad and avocado. The free salsa here was SPICY, and my mouth burned for a bit after consuming it. But overall the food was excellent and we left full and happy.
