Pastel of guava and cheese could have used more filling. And the cafe con leche... That was perfectly strong and foamy!!! This place is the most authentic Cuban pace in broward county. I come here at least once every two weeks if not more. The breakfast here is amazing. The cafe con leche is delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are always made perfect. They also have breakfast platters that come with Cuban toast. The prices are very good you get a lot of food for what you pay. I usually call ahead and pick up and they always have my food ready by the time I get there. Finally found a cafeteria in ft lauderdale with real Cuban food. The food was very flavorful and the proportion was perfect. The only inconvenience is that it's so tiny, I felt the people behind me in line nearly breathing down my back but we were able to sit on a table as soon as we got our food and we didn't wait very much either. They have people working taking orders on the phone and helping the people who come in to pick up their orders, but completely stopped taking orders of the people actually waiting in line. We lived next door to a bakery which would start at 4:30 am and the aroma of cafe con leche would emanate to my bedroom. However my parents didn't have much money and only on special occasions, we would go over (me on my dads shoulders) and buy some cuban pastries. that was 1980s.s Since then. we moved. and every time we had to go to Miami International Airport, we would always make a stop at the bakery to get some food. I've moved out to San Francisco but I came home on a recent trip and my mom took me to this bakery and wow. everything about this place is awesome.
