I think my main issue was the fact that candy was about $18 per pound. The bad is the price, I have a local grocery stare that sells Jelly Belly's for $8 per pound, which I believe was the half pound price here. I will say this is probably the same price as candy stores in the mall, but this place was massive. Chocolate was on the second floor and we didn't even go up, when it's 110 in the shade, chocolate is a bad idea. I got what was basically a mouthful of candy, it was $5 so basically just under 1/3 of a pound. It was tasty, but nothing special. I'd certainly recommend you stop, but it ain't cheap.

There are huge signs outside of the bathrooms that have their "cleaning schedule." This schedule says that the bathrooms are closed for an HOUR during each cleaning, (which are all during peak hours of course) and totaling 3 hours throughout the day. The store is opened for 14 hours a day. 3/14x100 is 20%. The bathrooms are closed for 20% of the store's operation times. I'm NOT GOING BACK. Actually I am. It was $1.69 for an ounce of M&Ms. (this totstled about to about 13 M&Ms.)

We didn't need $20 in gumdrops, so we passed and had we come here first, we still would have passed, We just didn't want or need that much candy but for some or groups, this would be an interesting option. I have checked out other pinata stores but by far this is my favorite spot. Great selection and variety of party goods, candy and pinatas. The only deception is that yelp is sending people on a wild goose chase since el rey de la pinata is not located on bruce and bonanza. Its actually located on owens and eastern. Address is right but just use your maps app to locate it, thats what i did. read more

they were so kind from the very start. easy to order custom piñata over the phone. straight up prices and done on time. pinata was big and strong it held so much candy we filled it to the brim and piñata was still very sturdy. very worth the price. this is the second time ordering from them and we will continue being a customer here. read more
