Yum. Yum yum yum yum YUM YUM YUM…read more Okay, a few more details: Bite My Biscuit (BMB) made the trek to Lewisville to grace us with their presence at Witherspoon Distillery, and I'm glad they did! But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

It was located in the parking lot of a strip mall. I was thinking this was all just baked potatoes but they did also offer loaded fries, tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas. The portions are quite large, the young lady helping us order was also very friendly and explained everything to us. My wife and I got small potatoes which was plenty, the large was huge based on the tin that it came in. I got a 2 meat of shrimp and steak with broccoli, my wife got the chicken bacon ranch. Mine was perfect, very hot still, and flavorful. My wife was equally as flavorful but hers was a tad bit spicy. Our daughters got a burrito and quesadilla which were equally as flavorful. We wanted to come back to try the other items but that will have to wait for another day. Definitely worth the drive. Remember it's a food truck so you can either take it to go or just eat in your car!

The food is still super filling and tasty, and the staff are really friendly and kind. I just wish they'd update their social media more often--like whether they're open that day, plus their latest hours and location.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the staff, and everyone has always been super friendly. The music is loud and energetic, and there always seems to be a good crowd enjoying their food, which gives the place a really fun, vibrant atmosphere. There are a few tables and booth and bar seating available. I've had the street taco platter twice now, and it is SO good. I've tried the pastor, asada, and barbacoa, and the pastor is definitely my favorite. The platter comes with rice and beans in addition to your choice of meat for three tacos. I also love that it comes with a spicy verde salsa and limes! The queso is another favorite. It's delicious, and they give you a really generous portion. I've ordered chips and queso both times, and there's plenty for one person. And if you're a margarita person, their to-go margaritas are such a fun bonus! They seal them up so you can safely take them home. Price-wise, it seems comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area. My street taco platter, chips, and queso came out to around $25, which I think is pretty reasonable for the amount of food. Both times I've stopped in for a to-go order, I've been in and out in under 10 minutes, which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're looking for street tacos in the area.

We started with the chips and salsa, then my wife ordered the Empalmadas de Chihuahua, which were absolutely delicious. I had the brisket tacos, and they were packed with incredible flavor. To top it off, we ordered margaritas that were refreshing and hit the spot. They also have a great happy hour from 2-6 p.m., Monday through Friday and Loteria and prizes on Thursdays making it an even better place to stop by. Between the delicious food, tasty drinks, welcoming staff, and great vibes, Añejo Taqueria is a place we always look forward to visiting. Highly recommend!
