The food is still super filling and tasty, and the staff are really friendly and kind. Yummy!! Came here the other night and now I just want more and more! I've never had a loaded potatoes from a food truck but boy oh boy it was creamy, full of toppings and just overall exceptional. I got the shrimp, bacon and broccoli one and not one bit was I disappointed. I also got a beef taco. The meat was excellent! My only complaint was that the tortilla wasn't very cooked. A bit on the raw side. Overall this is a very cute taco truck. The service is great. They give you a vibrating disk so you can wait in the car for your food. I'll be back! read more

My family found ourselves in NRHs because we needed to pick something up from a store out that direction. I did a quick google search and found the Potato King truck. It was located in the parking lot of a strip mall. I was thinking this was all just baked potatoes but they did also offer loaded fries, tacos, burritos, tortas, and quesadillas. The portions are quite large, the young lady helping us order was also very friendly and explained everything to us. My wife and I got small potatoes which was plenty, the large was huge based on the tin that it came in. I got a 2 meat of shrimp and steak with broccoli, my wife got the chicken bacon ranch. Mine was perfect, very hot still, and flavorful. My wife was equally as flavorful but hers was a tad bit spicy. Our daughters got a burrito and quesadilla which were equally as flavorful. We wanted to come back to try the other items but that will have to wait for another day. Definitely worth the drive. Remember it's a food truck so you can either take it to go or just eat in your car! read more

Solid 3 stars, maybe 3.5? First, we look this outdoor music and food truck venue. Food 171 is great for kids and adults alike! We got the large baked potato with chicken, and the chicken was good! Not greasy, tender, just simple! The potato was perfectly cooked which was super impressive. I just wanted something more. Cheese, butter, sour cream, chicken, green onions, pickled jalapeño, and corn. It was fine, but I wanted something different, something more flavorful. Something to set it apart from others. I think if I had gotten it was pastor it would have possibly had that flavor I needed? They advertised the potatoes as the best in the area, but eh? We got the pastor taco, and it was solid! Decent flavor and simply done! Nice price for a smaller street taco, onions and cilantro, and it wasn't greasy or fatty. A solid taco, and I would get it again over the potato any day! Overall, this was fine. If we went back to Food 171, I would go back for the tacos and would be open to trying a specialty potato, but leaning towards the taco than the potato for sure. Super slow service... waited over 25 mins for food. When I asked how much longer I was told, 10 more mins. Make sure you plan for the wait. I believe you can order ahead, which may help. Update. I in no way asked to be served before anyone. I asked for wait time after waiting. I was never told our food would take 30 mins. That should have been told when we were ordering.
