Only open till 3 pm and serves breakfast and lunch. You order at the counter, sit then they bring food out to you. They serve quesobirria on weekends only with a side of consume. The consume was like a soup and delicious. For such a small place it was busy. Ordered carne asada or steak with shrimp and a quesobirria. My quesobirria was mostly filled with fat and not much meat. Me and my boyfriend were craving breakfast burritos and we didn't know about this place until my suegro recommended it (Thank God he did cuz we have a new go to spot now nearby now)! Great and fast service the food was given promptly and warm. Cozy restaurant that reminded me of Mexico. I want to start by saying the food here is great. The chilaquiles are probably some of the best you can find. The service is always great. My issue is the random ass hours. I've driven from all the way across town to eat here because I do love it, but more times than not they're closed. I tried to resolve this by googling ahead of time, but even when they said they were open the store would be closed when I got there. I am assuming it's a family run business so I understand the hours can fluctuate, but I feel that's very frustrating for customers who drive from across town to go here only to find out it's closed. After a long half day of training for work from out of town in Sacramento, we were all in need of some good food. Thanks to Yelp!! My friend found this little gem! Kind of a hole in a wall but it was awesome. I love crispy tacos. I saw a picture of the tacos dorados and it GOT meeeeeeeee!!!! It was three crispy tacos filled with beans and topped with all of the taco ingredients consisting of lettuce, asada (my choice), pickled onions and salsa. Oooooohhh myyyy goooddnessss!!! I killed it, all!!! The salsa was spicy and perfectly flavored. My three friends loved their food as well. They ordered a shrimp burrito, steak burrito, and crispy taco platter with beans and rice. They killed their food as well. They just complained that it was a bit spicy without asking for spicy. They don't eat spicy but was able to handle it with a little rubbing spicy nose. One complaint, if you don't read what is a little notice that is on the register, it notes that every order is charged a gratuity for the employees. I forgot the exact percentage, but if you pay attention to your receipt you will notice it. I read this on the register then confirmed that it was legit after looking at my receipt. It was a small amount due to my order being not that much, but the principle is, this is a order at the counter and brought to your table so there shouldn't be an automatics gratuity charge. Craziness!!! But they do have to clean the table and pick up the dishes because there isn't a station to drop off our food plates to empty it out. Breakfast burritos were delicious. They use cut potatoes which are our preferred potato type for a breakfast burrito as they make for a yummy bite. Bacon was perfect - no uncooked chewy fat or dry hard bits. Veggies were nicely cooked- tender but not mushy. Tortillas were nicely browned. So good and totally hit the spot. AUTHENTIC and truly flavorful... Let me start off with the birria, not only does it have the right amount of meat in it but the taste makes you feel like your eating in Mexico! Moving on to the sides... the tortillas are handmade and the sauces are delicious. Today I tried the breakfast burrito and just like everyone else has said it is AMAZING. My choice today was bacon and I've never had a breakfast burrito that I have enjoyed as much as today's. It has great seasoning my favorite ingredient was the seasoned potatoes inside. The service was great. We were greeted with a smile. We arrived right when they opened, so we received our food promptly. While waiting for our food, we received chips and salsa. The ambiance was kinda quiet, being the only ones in the restaurant, but they had upbeat Mexican music playing. *The cook did get our order wrong, they gave my husband chicken, instead of asada. But the waitress and cook were quick to correct this. Overall, good food (4.5/5) and good price. We spent less than $35.

Would've been nice to know that before so I could've said no thanks. Final price for this subpar salad? $25. I actually had to go back just to show them. The bar manager, Hamad (spelling), tried to help by adding more chicken and then told me the sour cream and guac were "under the shell." Really? Who hides condiments under the shell? Total waste of time and money. I'm done. No more chances.
