The place was busy at 11:30 and they offered menudo with or without hominy. You could also have with or without cow knuckle/foot. Same price $21.41. I ordered with hominy and knuckle. It was incredible. No funky smell and they were extremely generous with the tripe. The broth was incredibly flavorful and they had a salsa bar with arould six or seven salas to choose from. This is the best menudo I have had yet in the state of WA. Giving it 10 out of 10. Servers very friendly and the soup came out in less than 3 minutes. Good flour tortillas as well. read more

I also added a side of consomé, and for almost $5, the serving was surprisingly tiny, about the size of a condiment cup. The food itself was fine, but the value wasn't quite there for me. Since this was a takeout order through DoorDash, I can't really comment on the service or the restaurant's ambiance. I don't expect over-the-top friendliness, just professional service, but his demeanor was negative from the start. ​We ordered to-go, and when we got home, the entire order was wrong: instead of 6 tacos, we received one taco with a side of rice and beans; the nachos were missing the guacamole and sour cream, and we were given only one napkin. I had to drive 20 minutes round-trip just to fix their mistake. ​What made it worse was his attitude. When I pointed out the lack of salsas, he asked, "Didn't you grab any from the station?"--even though, minutes earlier, he had explicitly told me not to touch the station because it was closed and that he would handle it himself. When I showed him the photo of the incorrect food I received, his only response was a cold "Okay." Not a single apology for the error or for wasting my time. ​To make matters worse, when we finally opened the salsas, the red sauce was completely spoiled. The container was bloated, it released gas when opened, and the sauce was sour and fermented. This is no longer just bad service; it is a serious health hazard. I ordered the Taco Special 4 tacos & a Favorito for $11.99 While the meat options are a bit limited for the special (I wanted carne asada), I went with the birria and I have no regrets! These tacos were bomb! The meat was super flavorful and juicy, and you can choose to have them topped with onions and cilantro. This was also my first time trying a Favorito it tasted similar to Jarritos. We all went with the pineapple flavor and loved it! I think we came on a weekday night, starving and ready for some delicious Mexican food. We got sat in the bar area, the entire restaurant was pretty quiet. The bartender was super nice, we had questions as first timers and she gave us a few recommendations. I ordered the Al Pastor Tacos because that's usually my favorite go-to. My husband ordered a burrito dish with all the fixings (forgot what it was called) but I liked his dish better. As much as I wanted to like my tacos, the pork was really dry and difficult to chew. I don't like to be an inconvenience and have to ask for a remake because I worked in the serving industry for 12 years and I just feel bad. But the thing that was great about it was that they included grilled onion and jalapeño and red and green sauce. I've been to the Everett location twice now. The first time they gave me a bean and rice platter instead of a burrito, with no salsa at all no jalapeño no onion nothing. The upcharges are laughable. You pay extra for calling ahead, placing an online order, and now even if you're going in person and getting to go you are now charged for the food containers. During the height of the pandemic, my family and I were ordering in about once a week. We switched off as to who got to choose the restaurant and pretty much every time it was my turn? El Rinconsito is what I chose. Their rice and beans...I could live on those and always order 2 extra so that I have them in the fridge for the nest couple of days lunch. Myself, my partner, and son are all sick and I was excited to order out instead of cooking. I've never ordered from here before and was so excited to try it! I was disappointed. My shredded beef in my burrito tasted like unseasoned, clumps of fat with a little meat. The tortilla was bland mush under the red sauce that also had no flavor. I found a hair in my burrito and finally gave up after eating another mouthful of fat from my burrito.
