a variety of drinks on a table

I snuck away with my niece in law and her boyfriend to get away from thanksgiving food on Black Friday lol. We came just in time for the lunch special (Good prices too!) we were the second party there and quickly seated and served. I order a horchata and my niece got a margarita flight. Both were very good and sweet! My meal was also great the chicken had onions, cheese and garlic on top. The garlic to me might have been too much but still tasty.

I was looking forward to eating at your location at Lafayette Village. In times past, I enjoyed the…read morewings. I was in the restaurant tonight for the same. Service staff was great, and then.... Ordered an appetizer that came with chips. A very small amount, maybe a handful, of chips that I thought wouldn't last through the completion of the dip. I asked for a few more. When the bill arrived, there was a charge for the extra chips. I was astonished. The few extra, maybe another small handful was an extra charge! There was no warning that extra chips would be a charge. Then the bill came. There was an extra charge for using a debit/credit card! There was no warning about that either. I attempted to voice my concern on these two issues with the waitstaff (someone who hadn't taken the order), he clearly didn't/couldn't do anything about it. I asked for the the manager. Chase showed up. The real problem began. I advised that being charged extra for a handful of chips, without notice of extra charges, and no notice of a fee for using a credit/debit card was not agreeable, he rolled his eyes, (yes he did) and said that they had to cover their charges/costs. I advised him to not roll his eyes at me and suggested that without notice, the extra fees were not agreeable. He had no resolution or even an apology or "sorry." He started to walk away and I called after him saying I had another question. I asked for the owners name and contact info. He said he didn't have to give that to me. Wow! Then he walked away. No apologies. Just attitude. Upon leaving, I stopped at the bar and asked for your name. She was accommodating. Then I had to call to find a way to reach you. Bottom line, Chase was very rude and clearly has no respect for proper customer service. I don't think my suggestion for alerting a customer of extra charges was unreasonable. While I may not be able to share this horrible experience with all your r current patrons, I do know about the power of social media. Wouldn't your rather me share a positive experience and encourage visits to Pickled Onion? I know a couple people who are very disappointed. Great menu but very poor staffing in Chase.

Service, even when they are busy, is also very good. Friendly. Really feel like they CARE here. Case in point...open on Christmas Day. Yep. That's care for the community. Same great menu with a nice variety. Great selection of brews on tap. The Brown Ale from Charlotte was one of the best we've ever had. Also tried their spinach dip for the first time and it was fantastic. The crispy bacon really made it special. Also finally tried their wings. Love that you can get them grilled. And let me tell you they are worth the 30 minute wait! They won't let you have two different sauces, but will let you mix a couple and I gotta say my creation of smoky bbq mixed with honey habanero is a real winner! Husband is a huge fan of their Chicago Beef Sandwich and onion rings. And the sides are always good. Loaded Baked Potato and Broccoli are two of my faves. Never have to worry about parking as it's in the Lowes Foods Shopping Center. Nice choice of seating...high top tables, lower ones plus bar seating. Plus a few games if you feel like playing. Delightful neighborhood bar/restaurant.

Easily one of the best restaurants we've been to in the area! Had a family birthday celebration…read morehere and it was an amazingly great experience! Our server, Dawn, was easily one best servers I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable about the menu, made a point to explain everything and no questions were too obscure. We had a variety of dishes, and out of everything the pork schnitzel wasn't really a schnitzel if you've ever had one in Germany, it was more like a breaded, fried bone-in pork chop, really good but not a traditional schnitzel. The asparagus, the risotto, the pasta, the chicken were all absolutely superior. The stars were the appetizers, especially the kung pao fried Brussels, those are a meal by themselves, some of the best I've ever had! The fried burrata cheese, worth the drive to Wake Forest. Their Cherry cobbler one word: YUM! The Farm Table is a roomy restaurant with tables well suited for family style dining and while a bit loud, certainly not uncomfortably so Totally recommended and thank me later for those Brussel Sprouts!

We had one app (tuna poke nachos if you must know) that were very good, but everything else was sort of mid. The ideas are good...execution comes across a bit flaccid. No bold flavors, only bold ideas. Draft beer selection was definitely good. Mixed drinks tasted fresh (no sour mix etc) and the ambience was welcoming and chill. Staff were all nice. Place seemed clean. Flavor Score: 3 Experience Overall : 4

We've had the rice and stuffed grapes leaves which are yummy sides and even gotten the Baklawa which was very authentic with a light rose water taste and not drenched in honey. It's hard not to eat here several times a week it's so good!!

Great mediteranean food at this new Taza location in Wake Forest…read more Everything inside is bright, shiny and new. It's an order at the line place- think Chipotle or Moe's. Service is quick and friendly. Ordering online is straightforward, only 10 minutes till food was ready. There are a half dozen tables for eat-in, plus a few outside for warmer weather. Tried a Mediteranean platter, which includes a chicken kabob, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and tabouli. Also comes with warm pita and a slice of baklava. The kabob is spiced and grilled to perfection. A nice crunch on the outside, hot and juicy on the inside. The hummus is creamy and garlicky, perfect for dipping the chicken and the pita. Tabouli is crisp and fresh, very tart. The only minor disappointment was the baklava. I was in the mood for Greek-style, dripping in honey. Taza is Lebanese-styke, more buttery and creamy. Still good but not what I was expecting. The falafel platter also delicious. Unique donet-shaped falafel and delightfully crispy and we'll seasoned. The Greek salad is missing the kalamata olives, but does include sliced green AND black loves. Tahini sauce for dipping is excellent. All in all a good meal. There's growing restaurant competition in Wake Forest. I think this one is a keeper!
