    Steak tacos

I'll start by saying--I'm not really a Mexican food fan--but I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday (they love coming here every year), and I can see why it's a local favorite! We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated, which was great for a weekend evening. Once seated, we perused the menu and our server was attentive but not overbearing. I ordered the 3 hard shell steak tacos supreme, and while they were pretty average, I'll admit they were definitely a step above Taco Bell . My friend went with the #6 Dinner Combo (enchilada, taco, rice & beans) plus an extra beef taco--and they were very happy with their meal. The real highlight, though, was the birthday celebration--complete with a sombrero and lots of laughs. You can tell the staff really enjoys making guests feel special. Overall, El Salto has friendly service, solid prices, and a festive atmosphere that makes it perfect for group celebrations. I'll be back next year for the annual birthday dinner... and this time, I've got my eye on the fried ice cream! Pro tip: Come with friends--it's way more fun when you're celebrating something!

Wow! I'm super impressed with El Salto. I've heard a lot of good buzz and finally got to check it out. We came with a big group and the staff were friendly, prompt, and accommodating. The chips and salsa we delish. We shared a pitcher of margaritas and they were fantastic. I ordered an ala cart shrimp quesadilla and El Salto Burrito. The quesadilla was a surprise, really enjoyed the cheese and it was packed with shrimp. The burrio was cheesy and flavorful. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back!

I have never heard of this restaurant before but I'm glad I went! Everything was super delicious, and flavorful. I love places that offer ground beef tacos so they definitely have my vote lol. Drinks, service and food were all good 8/10 if you're in the area stop in for a drink or quesadilla. WHO doesn't love good Mexican right

Ordered from their many selections menu combos platter being vegetarian choices were limited . But they replaced beef with beans enchilada with one Chili Rellano pepper with cheese and sides of beans and rice for 11.95 also serve liquor beer wine. Service was fast and waitress was polite and asked if I need anything more etc Ambiance was comfortable seating with bar seats available

I didn't know there is an el salto restaurant in this area, I used to go to the Towson area. The fajitas are always as good as it is. I chose the Hawaii fajitas, it was good but I couldn't taste any pineapples in it. The food came with the empty pineapples but none inside.

El Santo was a very casual Mexican restaurant. I won't dabble too much on the service since I came here with a larger group, but the service was good. It was nice of them to let my group and I (and another table) stay well 15 minutes after closing. The food was okay. I wish the street corn had more flavor to it. It was a bit bland in my opinion, so I was a little disappointed. The quesadilla was pretty good, it was definitely my favorite part. I had a glass of sangria from one of the people in my group, and that was good as well. I feel like this would be a good spot for something really, really, casual. It was just an average Mexican spot.

This restaurant has been here for many, many years and there is a reason for that. It serves good and affordable food. I got a small combination plate with a taco and enchilada and it was delicious

A true taste of Mexican cuisine. Honestly, I remember my margarita more than anything. We had 3 large margaritas going at the table and the original was the best. The strawberry was flavorful without being over sweet and the mango was the perfect hit of tang and sweet. Drinks aside! Choices! I love that you can substitute beans instead on the rice. Rice and I don't get along gastrically, so black beans were a great option. I played with the combination plates to the point that I almost covered my eyes and pointed. The salsa didn't taste like it came from a jar, which is incredibly important. Our server didn't hover, but we never went without. Being seated and paying were both seamless processes. I can't wait to go back, grab a menu, and point

Enchilada, taco and beans/rice for less than $9.

When we see its parking lot is full on a Wednesday night, we know we made a good choice. It's full inside when we got there at around 6:45pm. It's authentic Mexican as it promises. Every plate has a good amount of food and it is tasty. I was surprised to see the price - for a big plate of enchilada, taco, and chalupa is under $9 on the dinner menu. Chips are warm with good sausa. Service is also quick. Will go back if we are in the neighborhood again.

Boatloads of people enjoy taco bell but I've become a snob over the years. I'd much rather have a street taco or something made by someone who isn't slopping ingredients around a kitchen that has more cheese on the floor than linoleum. My friend consulted the internet and came up with el Pilar, which turned out to be a total homerun. I got a chicken burrito bowl and ate on it for three wonderful days. The house made tortilla chips are probably the best I've ever encountered. And the side order of guacamole was heaven. Jeremy had some kind of shrimp and beef nachos with a creamy pinkish sauce that were out of this world. Other food was consumed and all of it a taste sensation... I was just too busy in my own burrito bowl space to pay much attention. I'm pretty sure the meal won us all over to el pilar!

During a busy week I stopped by to grab and go. While customer service was a bit gruff considering it wasn't busy, the food was delicious! Of course no white glove here, but when I asked for a receipt, it wasn't itemized and was charged 'one comida'. I've not been to their restaurant but had I known, perhaps price points are at least shared. The truck itself is clean, has a picture board and options posted, and marked clear of other locations. We chose two orders of quesabirria (half/4pcs), an order of chicken flautas (5pcs), and a gordita al pastor. Quesabirria is meaty hefty and cheesy loaded, consome on the side! The flautas was crispy and packed with shredded chicken, and the rice and beans were seasoned well. The lettuce were not limpy at all lol! I took a bite out of the al pastor and the ratio of protein and pineapple was money. Esooo, fuego! Not a cloud on this stone, Taqueria Los Jarochos food truck is a diamond on Ritchie Highway.
