Al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo tacos
    Jessica G.

Been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad we did. We ordered chips and guacamole, tacos, and a steak chimichanga. The guacamole was smoother with a blended texture and very tasty. The steak chimichanga came smothered in a choice of either salsa verde or rojo. I picked the verde and that also was very good. I expected the tortilla on the chimichanga to be fried so was surprised when it wasn't, but it was tasty anyway so no harm done. My friend said their tacos were authentic, with the favorite being the carnitas. They have a variety of sodas and other drinks in their refrigerator case that looked interesting. I got a Vietnamese mango drink called Oh Fresh which was good.

Carne Asada... fresh and full of flavor

Tacos that will have your mouth excuted for more!!! This was my first time actually sitting in And let me just tell you it was worth it! There's not a waiter however when you come in find a seat walk up to the counter place your order and wants it's ready they will bring it to your table. While you are waiting you get fresh made chips and 2 salsa dips. 1 red 1 green they are both fabulous but beware Of the heat in the red one ... Now to me it was perfect for the chip mixed with the green salsa and on top of my taco. But for others it may be too much. It's a small maybe family owned taco restaurant not much seating at all probably about 4 tables but you definitely feel welcome. I had the chicken tacos seasoned to perfection onions were so fresh the perfect amount of cilantro and the tortilla itself was fresh and hot. I ordered 2 tacos but it was more like 4 because they were Robust in size and once the filling fell out a little as I was eating I just prepared an additional taco with one of the layered tortillas. My guy loves Carne Asada tacos, and I could tell by the look of the meat that it was going to be flavourful!! We were not disappointed at all. And not to mention the horchata was absolutely perfect I have not had one made this particular way it was absolutely delicious we will be back every time we are in the area!

It's been many years since we been back here. Food is mediocre. Very low quality cheese & meats.

An authentic, family-run, delicious eatery! I saw a fellow review that said it perfectly, "If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, then this place isn't for you, but if you're in the mood for authentic, friendly, timely service, from wonderful people you're in for a treat" The food was quite worth the money-with large portions of fresh ingredients. Ordering to go, we selected: -Chicken Flautas: crispy & flakey, large portioned-stuffed with loads of chicken -Beef Tongue Sopes: large chunks of fresh, well cut tongue; juicy with lots of spice; the bottom layer wasn't too greasy, and held the massive amounts of toppings wonderfully -Chili Relleno: packed with cheese, smothered with sauce & cheese, fresh rice & beans loaded with flavor Can't wait to return & try more of the menu!

In the front are the sopes de carne asada, carnitas, y al pastor. In the back are the 3 tacos de pollo.

Although I'm not Mexican, I am Hispanic and their tacos tasted as authentic as you can get in the US. I got the carnitas, carne asada, and Al pastor sopes and they were SO good!! My brother got 3 tacos de pollo and he finished them up like there was no tomorrow. We also got two Sandia aguas frescas and they were 10000/10. I'm not even kidding, if you're not getting anything to eat, try that agua fresca because no juice or soda could ever compare to it. The service was also good there, they were friendly and the food came out pretty fast. The place has a really nice atmosphere. There's some parking outside of the restaurant too which is nice. All in all, 10/10 would recommend.

Don't judge a book by its cover - this unassuming little shop on a busy road is an absolute taco gem! I happened to pass by it while running some errands and just had to try it. Ordered tacos to go and was so impressed! The portion of meat inside each taco is fantastic, the flavoring on the meat is equally fantastic, and the staff here is so nice! I came back with a group after raving about the tacos to them, and all agreed that these tacos will not let you down. Don't pass this place up!

Solid spot for authentic Mexican food. Came here to try it as I was in the area. Ended up getting: Chicken Tacos ($10.50) Quesadilla (Flor De Calabaza) ($7.99) 3 different tacos ($11.25) -Al Pastor -Cesina -Chorizo Chips and Guac Sides of Green and Red Sauce Everything here was really good. The tacos were good including the cesina, which I had not seen anywhere else before. The stand out to me was the flor de calabaza quesadilla. Despite not having ever heard of this before (nor it having meat), it was quite good and they did not skimp on the cheese either. The guac is among some of the best I've had. A really good balance of extras like lime into the guac. Could easily come back here if I'm in the area again.

This little hole in the wall is definitely a hidden gem located in the Glen Burnie/Severn, MD area. While not visually appealing on the inside or the surrounding area, Tijuana Tacos makes up for it with friendly service and very good food. I initially wanted to order an enchilada but was sadly informed that they were out of them, so I went with the chicken fajitas instead. My plate was plentiful, seasoned very well, and filling... I would definitely order them again. My date had the chicken tacos, and while one would think they'd taste similar to the fajita, considering it's the same concept, the chicken was chopped instead of sliced, and noticeably seasoned different. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant, this place isn't for you, but if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cousin, and timely service, you're in for a treat.

Tijuana Tacos VI, hands down, has the best tacos in the area. I personally feel like the DMV area lacks restaurants that sell authentic Mexican food. Thank goodness we found this place! I ordered three tacos: Al pastor, carne asada, and lengua. All three were DELICIOUS. I especially loved Carne Asada- you could taste the smokiness and was super moist. All tacos were double wrapped with corn/flour mix tortillas. I usually cannot eat more than two tacos, but here, I did not leave a single bite of all three of the tacos. Their horchata is also VERY good. They are also very generous with their portions. My husband and I really wanted to get a side of guac and chips, but they ran out of chips at 6PM!! I'm really hoping they will have chips next time we visit. Highly Recommend!

The meat in my order was a little dried out, otherwise it probably would have been a very good meal. Everything was very nicely presented.

Are they good about substitutions? Like no onions on the tacos?

Yes-they will actually ask you if you want the toppings before you order.

I so love yelp! I saw the pictures of what the restaurant looked like inside and not for those pictures, I would not have went just from looking at it outside. English is their second language and I am okay with that when it comes to food because that means the authenticity meter goes up. My friend had a ride before me and was sitting down with chips and salsa when I arrived. The restaurant was clean but also had a homily feel which I appreciated. After a few minutes the waitress had not returned so I jumped up to grab a menu and decide what I wanted. The menu was in Spanish but had pictures. That with my bad Spanish allowed me to order but I wanted. After some questions I decided upon two carne asada tacos, traditional. Easy, right? Yes! Those were the best tacos I have had in a long time at a restaurant. To meet with tender and there was not a lot of fat or hard in digestible pieces. The salsa verde was spectacular! I wanted to steal it but I kept my composure and remains classy and left it on the table. I actually really enjoyed my food. Must order the napoles and to it with both green sauces.

Once inside the venue, the sweet smell of flavors from across the southern border had all my senses awakened, what came after was just pure bliss in every bite I took of the lamb taco, the lengua taco, the roasted pork taco and the el pastor taco. I was immensely delighted at the idea that they had a great selection of soups to include the seafood soup ( very close to a cioppino). Why 4 out of 5 then?? Well they don't serve alcohol...yet? A good cerveza, a minty mojito and a grandma margarita would definitely make this place a slice of Mexico in our backyard.

On multiple occasions, we had to ask for basic things like utensils because they were forgotten, and servers didn't check on the table as often as they should have. The food also took longer than expected to come out, which felt unnecessary given the type of restaurant. My main issue, though, is the pricing. The food is very expensive for what you get, and the prices don't feel reasonable or justified. On the plus side, the drinks are actually really good. Overall, it's not a bad place, but between the slow service and high prices, it's hard to say it's worth it.

I initially placed my order on GrubHub, but found out once I arrived at the establishment that they do not partner or work with GrubHub, which is unfortunate because you're still able to order from them on GrubHub. It was easy to cancel my order so I could get a refund and I just ordered with the gentleman at the bar. The service was quick and friendly hence two stars. I ordered the flautas which are rolled chicken tacos that are fried and topped with lettuce, cheese, crema, pickled jalapeños, and pickled red onions as well as an order of guacamole that comes with chips. The flautas were just ok as most of their flavor came from the pickled vegetables as the chicken tasted unseasoned. The guacamole was old with a lot of brown on top with very soft onions and tomatoes, which tells me that it wasn't made today, even though their menu states that it's made fresh daily. I scraped the brown part off to try and salvage the parts that were fresh as I really wanted to try it and I was starving. The guacamole was very underseasoned as the only thing I could taste in it was the avocado. The chips were stale. My meal came to a total of $28.62 with tax. $14 for the guacamole and $13 for the flautas. Needless to say I won't be back.

I've not been to their restaurant but had I known, perhaps price points are at least shared. The truck itself is clean, has a picture board and options posted, and marked clear of other locations. We chose two orders of quesabirria (half/4pcs), an order of chicken flautas (5pcs), and a gordita al pastor. Quesabirria is meaty hefty and cheesy loaded, consome on the side! The flautas was crispy and packed with shredded chicken, and the rice and beans were seasoned well. The lettuce were not limpy at all lol!
