This was one of my most favorite things in PV. The shrimp was so tender the tortilla somehow just crisp enough. The sauces all so hot and creamy. The last best shrimp I ever had. Service great. Two words: fire flames. I had the marlin tacon (basically a burrito but they cut it in half and grill the open sides so it gets a little crisp to it) and it was absolutely gas, no notes. It was $135 pesos I believe and you can get cheaper food in the area, but not this good. It was absolutely to die for and was so filling. They also give you some veggies in like a mayo-based sauce and some salsas as a complement. The people working don't speak much English, not that they have to, just a heads up. There aren't many tables inside but they're good with takeaway. Note that I tried to go a couple days ago and they had closed about 30 mins before their posted hours. This spot is fantastic! It's a smaller venue, look for the cute blue shop, indoor seating only although it is right next to the beach. The menu is very limited, but that's what makes it fresh and delicious! Prices are low and portions are large, they also serve complimentary spicy pickles, and a type of cucumber mini salad (kind of tastes like a potato salad mix) they also have house made hot sauces from mild to hot! We had the marlin and shrimp one, and split it, it was juicy, flavorful and so satisfying. No rice or bean fillers, and the flour tortilla was also griddled on the flat top, so good! The servers were really kind and helpful, they don't serve beer but are totally fine with you bringing in one to enjoy with lunch, they have an oxxo right across the street! Definitely unique and a lot of history behind the venue, check it out, you won't regret it! We'll be back! read more

I've tried Marlin and mixed seafood burritos at many other places, and still think it is not only best here but also best value for the price. It's not the cheapest place you can buy a burrito - but the portions and quality of food here are well worth (what is not really) a slightly higher price. They no longer carry my favorite water but the cucumber, lemon, and mint turned out to be a second best combination to replace it. Cash only. They will even accept USD - which I almost chose to pay with based on the posted exchange rate but ended up just paying MXN. read more

Clean establishment and courteous service, we came in thinking it was a seafood restaurant with a variety of options, well it is not. We were hungry so we still gave them a try. They sell Burritas like Burritos but folded like a square with fish, octopus, imitation crab or shrimp. It's the fish or shrimp sautéed with onion, tomato and shredded lettuce wrapped in a flour tortilla. Big size portion and the give you a small veggie/fruit salad mixed with a mayo like dressing. The Marlin (tuna like fish) burrita was very salty but the shrimp one was pretty good. I don't think I will be back but, if you like your seafood in a burrito style wrap then you should try this out. read more

We had bad food poisoning from the shrimp burritos that we ate here. I would not come here again. (They do have very good medications for food poisoning in Mexico that are not widely available in the US. We were able to get medicine including an antibiotic that helped us recover in 24 hours) read more

Best food I've had in puerto Vallarta. Had the Marlín burrito and also tried the sea bass with shrimp as well. The Smokey flavor in-graded to the Marlín shocked my tastebuds. The lettuce and tomato changes up the texture of the burrito as a whole. They cut the burrito in half to sear the inside and the wrap as well. We came here right before our flight back and it was worth it (we almost missed out flight). we were the first customers there so no wait. I did hear that the location near the airport is usually more busy. What's funny was we were so close to grabbing brunch at a different spot bc they didn't open on the dot at 10:00 AM (no complaints here). But the guy who was standing by the resultant told me I need to try this place since he thinks it's one of the best Marlín burritos in PV and he was right in my opinion. I think the food here is exceptional enough to be successful anywhere they branch out to. Definitely grab a bite at this place - my favorite part was the fish but I got a mixed just to try all of it. They grill the burrito just right after cutting it and somehow adds to the flavor. The sauces they give you are pretty tasty although they can be spicy. Even the small side salad of jicama, carrot and cucumber was a nice surprise. This place Rocks these Toasted Burritos!! First the toast the burrito on the flat-top (both sides) then they cut it in half and toast the open end as well! I have never seen this before in Mexico or anywhere else. Served with s small side of jicama salad with carrots & cucumber, the dressing reminds me of my dad's potato salad with mayo & mustard, nice little addition to complete the meal. The burrito was loaded with Smoked Marlin, lettuce, tomato & onion. Three kinds of sauce served o the side: mayo based tartar, pink sauce like a mildly spiced thousand island, and a creamy hot & spicy green sauce that was my fav of the three. Right behind Mercado Ley super market 4 blocks north of the Malecon I will be back for sure to try the other selections: Smoked crab, shrimp, octopus as sea bass or mixed are the other choices. Before we even checked me in to my Malecon condo, we stopped here for a late lunch! I devoured a smoked marlyn & shrimp tacon. She ordered a shrimp tacon. Tasty treats, indeed! You must try something in the fish family! A tacon is larger than a taco & more petite than a marisco burrito. The wait staff acts as though we're having a function @ the junction. The serving staff is fun to hang out with. Tacón has the 6 mandatory salsas: chile de árbol, something similar to a garlic ranch, & 4 others to slather on your seafood torpedo. Although plane flights amp up my appetite, I managed to tank only half, the to go bag was excellent for my first morning's breakfast the following AM! Chef/cook Aurelio was very smitten by my GF Louella. He promised to fix up a special treat if I promised to produce Louella on a subsequent visit! Way to chat up my GF, Aurelio! I ate here for the first time despite being in puerto Vallarta several times, we needed to grab something quick because we had to take a bus to Tepic, so we went here right across from the airport, it's tucked away but it's not hard to miss it you just look where groups of people are hanging out where cars and taxis are picking up people on the side of the street. Anyways I stopped here the burritos looked delicious on the pictures so I had to try, and boy was I right! The burritos were freshly cooked, you can choose from shrimp, crab, marlin, and octopus, I grabbed the mix of crab shrimp and marlin you can get the mix which is $105 pesos and you can choose any meat. It was mouth watering and I'm glad I got to try this delicious sea food place out. I recommend this for anyone who's getting off from a long flight and want something quick on the go so you can get to your hotel room. read more
