Tacos Revolucion was excellent. We arrived right at opening and had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We selected a table outside. We ordered several tacos including the asada, pastor, and beef ranchera. Each of the tacos was delicious; especially the pastor. Regarding the service, the waiter was excellent. We really enjoyed this experience and will return.

We stopped by there on a Thursday afternoon. The place wasn't very busy but the customer service was nice. I had two fish tacos and a Revolución taco. They were amazing. I will definitely return again. It is a cash only establishment.

Second or third time here! We love the tacos, outside seating and friendly service. The fave I keep going back foe is THE taco revolucion. If I could describe it, I would say it is like queso fundido in a taco. Delish & filling! Cash only. They have a lil taco Toppings bar. Clean bathrooms. Outside seating is perfect for people watching! ;)

This is a nice place to get a quick bite. The tacos are reasonably priced. Didn't get to try other dishes though. The only thing is that you have to stand up to put toppings on your food which could be a hit or miss or some. Wasn't a problem for me.

The Revolution is here and the battle for the finest tacos in PV is going down. Google showed us the path to Tacos Revolution and it didn't disappoint! Rolled up to the entrance and we were quickly greeted and seated. For you American folks it's cash only. So bring your pesos. Ordered up one chorizo, one Asada, and the showstopper one Pastor! Staff was amazing and chips and salsa were out of this little Yelp world. 5 star tacos here!

This is the best taco place we've been to in Puerto Vallarta so far. Not only is the cooking refined, the dishes are highly unique. The Taco Revolución is a quesadilla style taco with cheese and various sauces inside. I highly recommend this option. The food also came more quickly than it has at other restaurants. The service was great, and the interior was amazing. I'd highly recommend anybody visiting PV to pay this place a visit.

Absolutely love Tacos Revolucion. It's part of the mandatory stops in PVR (Sonorita, Pancho's, Pepe's, and Tacos Revolucion). Order the Taco Revolucion. It is an amazing cheesy fried dish that I couldn't find anywhere else. Salsas are also excellent.

Vegetarian friendly tacos. Service fast. No ac. Pretty ambiance and speaks English. A la carte items add up for tacos that start at 2.50$ usd. Around the corner is churros for desserts! Cheese is Mexican style the sour kind.

My GF wanted to try this place because of the vegan /vegetarian options. The service was not that good . They took their time helping us and there was literally no one inside when we arrived. After ordering a few things on the menu, the food came our fairly fast. Sorry to say that I just was not feeling my options. I got a fish taco and a chicken taco that were both pretty bland. My GF ordered the Taco Revolution veggie and the Baja Veggie. I have to say that the Taco Revolution veggie was Packed with Flavor! So that was a plus. But overall .. just didnt hit that hard for me. The place is mid sized with indoor and out door seating and is fairly modern. We chose to sit outside for the natural breeze because it was so damn hot! But, tbh.. I dont think I will ever return to this place. As I was ready to pay, (being this place is Cash only) I noticed that I was over charged for our food. The guy who rang us up was not the same person who took our order and he was trying to do math in his head. I told him just use the calculator and he said. I know how much everything is !! Like WTF?? I did not want to be a dic*he*d so I just looked at him with the death stare and said okay. He literally charged me twice the amount of my order. This is the reason for the 2 star review. Be honest with your customers pal. As a tourist we are helping to keep you guys in business.

Our first meal in PV was here and was our favorite of the trip! Great service and amazing food! Spicy margaritas and Tacos Revolución del mar. The best ever! It's cash only (US or Pesos) but they let you know as soon as you're seated. Loved the little outdoor seating.

Very friendly staff and service. A+. The location is also very central for the romantic zone. The highs of the food were: Pineapple salsa. Be careful. It's spicy but so so good. Carne asada taco. Flavorful and juicy. Strawberry margarita on point. Now for the meh: Pescado taco. No real flavor and the fish tasted funny. Al pastor taco. Dry. Very dry. Guacamole. Middle of the road. Lacks flavor. I make a far better version. So overall, middle of the road experience.

It's thicker, more cheesy than what I've ever had before and very delicious. We paired that with the prime rib tacos, it was a plate stacked with meat and 4 tortillas under it, more than we could eat. The seasoning was great, it was diced so small that it was easy to eat. I got a virgin strawberry margarita, the wife got a coke. It was very affordable.

We ordered the ribeye, al pastor, and chorizo tacos. The ribeye had so much fat that we had to pick through it just to eat it. The al pastor was very average - I've had much better at plenty of other taco spots. The biggest disappointment was the chorizo. It wasn't traditional chorizo at all; it looked and tasted more like chopped-up hot dogs. We barely touched it because it wasn't what we ordered expecting, and it just wasn't good. The presentation also wasn't appealing. The meat was simply piled on top of two tortillas, making everything messy and difficult to eat. They were also pretty stingy with the grilled jalapeños. The salsas didn't do the food any favors either. None of them really stood out, and the green guacamole salsa actually tasted like it had gone bad, so we stopped eating it. Service was attentive, but almost too attentive. Staff kept coming by every few minutes to ask if we were finished or if we needed anything. While I appreciate good service, it made us feel like we were being rushed through our meal instead of being able to enjoy it at our own pace. Overall, I don't understand the high ratings based on our experience. With so many amazing taco spots in Puerto Vallarta, this one didn't come close to meeting the hype. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

They were at the verrrry end of the pastor but thankfully our order was fulfilled. I don't think they have the best pastor around and the beef in the crunchy tacos had zero flavor whatsoever. The first visit was fine so we went a second time. On our second visit, my husband asked about the pizzas and was told they weren't available. The courtyard in back does seem to have a new pizza oven installed but the wood sat beneath it unused. It wasn't working on our first visit either but we didn't ask about the pizza. If you are not going to fire up the pizza oven, at least advertise you do on Friday, Saturday and Sundays or whenever it is you do operate it. We seemed to be the first to arrive on our second visit. The guy who seated us changed the music to a rap genre he must have assumed we would enjoy more. We did not mind. As other dinners joined us we looked around to see their reactions to the songs and their naughty words. As we had hoped, two elderly ladies were seated and three songs into their visit Cardi B also arrived to sing "WAP". We were not certain if they were listening to each songs lyrics but they did sway back and forth in their chairs in tempo to the beat. That was fun. I wanted the chicken fajitas and the waitress returned to indicate they had no chicken. I was not sure if this was some Mexican version of the U.S. version of dealing with shortages in baby formula. I glanced toward the pizza oven and switched my fajita order to flank steak. They must have been sorry about the missing chicken and gave me a serving that would feed two. I asked for three extra tortillas and had the remainder boxed up as I wanted to pass it along to a hungry homeless person. Mission accomplished.

Sitting there, I realized I was witnessing a slice of intimacy with the locals that most travelers never touch. Half a dozen salsas in mismatched tubs of varying sizes power this taco stand.
