    Mexican street corn
    Kim M.

I have heard great things about this place and decided to try it out. We ordered two Burrito California entrees with chicken and a side of verde sauce, two Mexican street corn and seafood enchiladas. The burrito was so yummy filled with cheese, rice and sour cream...could not finish it! The Mexican street corn was wrapped in foil and still hot and steamy with cheese, mayo, butter, and chili powder - amazing! We also got a bag of chips and a side of guacamole / it was so fresh. We absolutely loved everything - will be ordering from here again!

Parking: residential street so you may not find parking. I suggest parking some place close by and perhaps catching an uber but then this just makes the meal too expensive. Wear some comfortable shoes! Atmosphere: noisy Service: ok Drinks: Top shelf Margaritas were good Food: fajitas were tasty and flavorful Overall: would come back but wouldn't rush

We've been finding little hidden gems within the city of Wilmington; this is definitely one of them. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, yup! You are looking in the right direction. Bring your friends and family, the environment is great for all. A Saturday evening, we were seated right away. Now it did start to get busy, so we came right on time. Their agua de Horchata was right on. Chips and salsa while you wait - nice service. Our orders were taken right away and were brought out in good time. Food portions are nice, large plates. I grabbed myself a salad, y Mi Mujer grabbed herself an alambre de camaron, both dishes were delicious! The shrimp has a nice spice to it, but not super hot. We'll definitely be back! Maybe next time we'll try an alcoholic drink.

Great Mexican food and a delicious michelada (Mexican beer cocktail). Friendly service and worth the drive - even from Pennsylvania!

The french fries came out a little fried, but the server was quick to fix this and brought out new baskets. The kids meals have a lot of food. I had the crabcake sandwich which I inhaled in a few seconds. It was delicious. The cioppino is also really good too.

Happy hour means $6 well drinks, so my standard is rum and diet Coke. Good drink, single pour of Cruzan. I chose to dine at the bar because the weather was a little steamy out. But I later took my second drink out onto their riverfront patio, and sat awhile in the shade of the building. It was lovely. For snacks, I ordered the blackened filet medallions and the garlic mussels. On a skewer, four hefty pieces of excellent beef were joined with a nifty horseradish dip. I did cut the steak into several bites per piece, so it was a good sized portion. My only preference would have been some garnish (greens maybe?). The mussels normally come with bread, but I let them keep it in the kitchen to sub my own GF bread from home. The broth was thin and lightly flavored, which I enjoyed almost like a soup (but was too embarrassed to tip the bowl). The patron to my right bemoaned the loss of a thicker broth from a previous recipe, so the bartender brought him some scampi butter which helped apparently. I really loved the light broth and found it soaked into the bread quite nicely. Friendly bartender gal cashed me out at my request before I took my drink on the patio. $30 plus tip, well spent. I could be a regular here, and look forward to another visit to Wilmington next time we are in Philly.

Amanda, our server, was a ray of sunshine and was especially attentive to our little one. she has a grandchild and relished the special time our daughter had while eating away from home. The layout is pretty basic with a series of long high-top tables with a few lower tables to boot. I asked for a spicy Blood-Mary and that's exactly what I received ! Well done! Other breakfast items came as ordered and all of the food was very good . Prices were fair and we really enjoyed our time there and whenever in the area would definetly return.

The food is delicious and seasoned very well. It was better than many of the offsite restaurants we tried. Everyone there is so friendly and we got to know many of the servers, bartenders, etc. Kudos to Tiera, Victoria and Amanda who are all awesome! During our visits, we had the pan seared salmon, grilled pork chop, crab eggrolls and fried mozzarella. The salmon and pork chop were delicious! The eggrolls had a great crab flavor and a sauce that had a slight kick. There is inside and outside seating. I recommend River Rock Kitchen if you are staying at the hotel or in the area.

Our server was gracious enough to have the temperature increased by a degree or two which was fine. We ordered the quiche and the mushroom crepe along with the french martini, mint julep and bloody mary. The drinks were fine and well presented. The mushroom crepe was also good, with a nice, flavorful thin crepe "boxing in" a firm and well-cooked egg. The quiche was nice and light but was fraught with way too much salt. The frisee that came with the quiche was so overdone with salt that it was inedible and you couldn't even taste the lardon bacon. We have not yet been here for dinner but would not recommend brunch as anything special. The service started out ok but then waned a bit once we ordered drinks. We literally had to wait patiently to even ask our server for coffee refills and more creamer. For a Sunday morning venue that should offer something distinctly different from the diner and coffee shop fare in North Wilmington, we were clearly disappointed.
