Serving breakfast and lunch. Fresh handmade tortillas of corn or flour. Open Monday through Sunday 8am to 8pm. Gotta say I was blown away. The location of the place seriously had me questioning how well the food was or if even there was such restaurant, since I rolled up to a liquor store that had no sign of the place. Walking in I knew I walked into something good. This is a local place and only seemed known by word of mouth. The place was clean and very small hole in the wall but was filled with a few people. Service was fast. I order their tacos of tripa and buche. Amazing crispy tripas and delicious buche on homemade tortillas with option of onions and cilantro. For real Authentic Mexican food with great service go here! I recently had gastric bypass surgery and can only eat tiny portions. The staff accomodates to my needs and serves me sides of food. My 3 favorite are Birria, Menudo, and Costillitas en chile. The flavors of each individual food are incredible. The staff serves me me in small salsa bowls so I always get to try a bit of everything. Today my husband had their "NEW" Wakala Burger, this burger is a gourmet treat and we had to order a second one because he was in aww with the taste. For great authentic Mexican food go check them out. They are a hidden gem and anyone who knows their food always returns. read more

The menudo and pozole are amazing. Paired with authentic style Horchata, delicious salsas, and hand made tortillas. The restaurant is very clean and has unique Coca Cola artwork on the walls. She checked on us and respected our pace. It was a fantastic dining experience. Food was fresh and delicious. The best Chiles Gueros we've had in the valley. Our server provided some of the best service that we've had since we moved to Coachella Valley. The food was fresh, clean, and left you feeling comfortably full while wanting more at the same time. Margaritas and Tequila selection are on point. The seafood is super fresh, well-executed, and nicely presented. Thanks, Santa Fe Reataurant - we will be back.
