These burgers are worth the price and wait. Yessssss. We've been here months back and just got back today again and they've added some tents over the ordering area which is really nice for rain. People will still wait in the rain for this but it's better with the tenting. They also added some picnic tables which is A+ also. The burgers are smooth like butter almost. Very tasty. They don't have lettuce and tomato's but who needs it with the meat like this?!!! We'll be back time and time again for burgers.

Sweet and spicy burger with Parmesan fries and the white queso.

Food was great, fresh and hot! We will definitely be back again! Paired up great with a fresh lemonade from the next truck!

The Texas barbecue hunt will take you anywhere. A food truck park in Fate, Texas was my next stop…read moreto try Smoak Town. I had a chance last October while I was in Rockwall for a wedding to try it, but because the wedding was a top priority (whatever!!!), it didn't happen. Yesterday was my chance. Inside this food park was a vast sea of options, but my eyes were set on the back left where Smoak Town laid. They have a huge tent with plenty of tables to sit at under the shade and the space is wrapped in their wood, giving the joint an oak log fence around the food truck. By the time I got there a little past 1:30, they were out of sausage and mac and cheese. Sad! Other than that, my order was simple: brisket, pork ribs, pork belly burnt ends, and a side of their brew brisket beans. The brisket was a thick slice that was moist and flavorful. I love those chunky slabs of brisket. There is just something about a thicker cut that knocks skinnier cuts out of the park. The pork ribs were juicy and tender. I rarely get pork belly burnt ends over a sausage, but they are always a treat like they were here. Just a little taste of heaven. The beans were savory, hearty, and well seasoned. I was pretty impressed by them as well. The team working was super conversational and friendly. The guy in front of me was having his first taste of Texas barbecue, and they were being super helpful making sure he got a true, flavorful experience. This spot feels hidden but is worth the trip. There were quite a few people hanging around enjoying the excellent barbecue. Worth the pit stop and worth the drive if you live anywhere in the DFW metro. It was simply fate (GET IT???) to try Smoak Town. RIYL: The quieter barbecue spots that pack the same punch

Driving around Texas eating BBQ on the Texas Monthly Top 50 list so we made a trip to visit Smoak…read moreTown BBQ. Smoak Town BBQ was stop #2 on our Dallas trip. I had sent a DM to the pit master about our visit and placing an order to pick up. Unfortunately they didn't have brisket at the time of our visit but everything else we got was wonderfully delicious. We picked up the Texas Trinity w/Ribs, sausage & pork belly burnt ends with 2 sides. Every thing was delicious but the ribs were the star of the plate. Thank you Smoak Town BBQ for cooking delicious food. They are currently located at a food park but will be moving into a brick and mortar.
