I have lived at Elan Madison Yards for four years and six months, and during this time I have consistently experienced nothing short of exceptional, professional, courteous, and timely service from the three of you. I chose EMY for its prime location, beautiful newer apartments, and welcoming staff. Having owned several homes in the past, I intentionally sought to simplify my life and avoid the constant responsibility of coordinating plumbers, electricians, and appliance repairs, etc. What I value most about living here is the peace of mind--knowing that management and maintenance not only set expectations but faithfully follow through. The community is kept clean, policies are upheld, and there is a clear commitment to creating a comfortable living experience for all residents. The maintenance team truly is a GEM! Recently, I noticed what appeared to be a leak under my sink. Because caring for my apartment aligns with my belief in faithful stewardship, I immediately submitted a work order. Within approximately two hours, the team responded--an impressive turnaround. Antonio arrived and diligently assessed the issue, identifying the garbage disposer as the source. He cleaned and addressed the problem thoroughly. What impressed me even more was the teamwork and commitment to excellence that followed. About 30 minutes later, there was another knock at my door. Antonio returned and explained that after consulting with Nikolai, they decided to replace the entire garbage disposer to ensure the issue was fully resolved--so I would not need to submit another work order for the same concern. That level of foresight, collaboration, and proactive service is what I call quality. To ensure proper installation, Malik joined Antonio to remove the worn unit and install the new one. Malik has handled many of my previous service requests, and he consistently demonstrates professionalism, strong work ethic, attention to detail, respect for my home, efficiency, integrity, and genuine care in completing each task the right way. He communicates clearly, works neatly, and leaves the space better than he found it. That consistency does not go unnoticed. Nikolai, your leadership and willingness to collaborate behind the scenes reflect a culture of excellence. Antonio, your responsiveness and thoroughness exemplify true service. First off let me start off by saying the community is perfect from the view to the environment. The whole experience is just pleasant. Going to Elan Madison yards was like a breath of fresh air I love how everything is in commuting distance it the. The property is very well put together and very nice. I love living here so much! this past year i've been living here has been amazing, honestly with no complaints. the leasing team here is absolutely amazing, they're always so helpful and looking out for their tenants. I also love living here for the events they throw for tenants. it's also very clean all the time in common areas, I love the pool here & the shared space overlooking the pool. if you're debating about living here, DO IT! you won't be disappointed! read more

I'll give thorough details below but the short version is: I'm leaving Elan Madison Yards after 3 1/2 years mainly because I bought a house, but I'd say my issues with the leasing staff left much to be desired and pushed me to move sooner rather than later. The apartments themselves are great and the location sells itself. The amenities are average and vary depending on which building you live in. If you want the location and don't care about a friendly community, this'll work for you. ***I just moved out and will update on that process. I will tell you that their "60 day notice" that's on the lease is not a real thing. I gave a 60 day notice that had me leaving 22 days before my lease was up. I was told by Jason that I'd still be charged for the 22 days if I left early. Leasing Staff: When I moved there in October 2021 Rob and the other leasing staff were great. We had resident events once a month, they quickly responded to emails, and they were friendly whenever I had to physically go to the office. Within the last year and a half, it's been the complete opposite. They don't respond to emails which forces you to go to the office for any questions or concerns. The problem with that is, they're only open from 10:00am until 6:00pm so it's hard to get there if you work 9-5. When I was able to make it to the office, the staff typically didn't have any solutions and came off as cold, like I was bothering them. Every time I spoke to Carson, he'd check to see if my rent was paid before actually starting a conversation with me. I thought that was condescending, especially since I always paid my rent early. I once went to talk to them after SWAT kicked the door above me in at 5:00am and they refused to give me information. Resident events are no longer a thing so forget about getting to know your neighbors or feeling appreciated by a company you're paying $2,000 a month. Units and Amenities: The apartments themselves are nice. I loved the balcony and the granite counterops. The amenities are decent but those have changed over the years. Building B (where the leasing office is) has the better amenities. There's no longer a package lockbox so you constantly see people's deliveries all over the lobby. The lock boxes were taken away without any notice or reason. Building A also doesn't have coffee/tea machine. The only downside to the location is the proximity to the highway. Depending on which unit you're in, you can always hear the vehicles on the highway. Location: The location sells itself and that's always been the best part of the apartment. Security: They change companies often so you'll never have correct contact info and even if you do, the number won't work or they won't answer. I had a very disappointing experience with Elan Madison Yards, especially during the move-out process. We were charged for damages that were pre-existing before we moved in, despite providing video evidence to prove this. The leasing office claims to conduct a "thorough move-in inspection," but this is clearly not the case. When I moved in, I found urine on the toilet seat and feces in the toilet. I immediately sent an email with pictures to the leasing office, but nothing was done. A dirty bathroom is unacceptable, and claiming to conduct thorough inspections while overlooking something as obvious as this shows incompetence and a lack of integrity. The community manager, Jason Lowe, claimed to have photos or a maintenance report to back up their charges but was unable to provide any proof. Even when I provided clear evidence of pre-existing damage, it was ignored. This interaction showed me that honesty, critical thinking, and integrity are not values upheld here. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money with a company that hires employees who are professional and capable of addressing concerns in a fair and ethical manner. Dealing with Jason Lowe and this management team was a lesson in what poor service and lack of accountability looks like. Avoid at all costs. Edit 12/20/24: though the management company stated that they would reach out to rectify my grievances, they never even attempted to (over a month later). I have not moved in yet so this is a review on just a tour of property. Staff was very nice, apartment was beautiful. Work space was awesome. I did bring my dog and she liked it. Does concern me about places to bring dog after reviews. I did see break in of cars in review but I'll just change coverage on insurance so I'm covered. Overall nice area close to Publix and Kroger plus interstate and BeltLine. No place perfect but my experience touring was great read more

WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN THE METRO ATLANTA AREA! If I have to rate this apartment building as the worst place to live in the city of Atlanta, I would. There has been multiple inconveniences that this apartment building has put my boyfriend & I through and put the blame on us. My boyfriend lives here, i just visit him very often. On December 21, 2022 his car window got busted and the response from management quoted " this is Atlanta, I can promise you that'll happen anywhere". After that, we didn't want to come back so we replaced the vehicle and broke our lease to move out soon and had up to 3 months rent before moving out. On Sunday March 12, 2023 the gate of the parking structure calibration was off and it slammed on to my boyfriends car which caused his whole bumper to fall off. The leasing office quoted " it was your fault because you had to stop at the gate". The gate should be censored to not move when at vehicle is present. Now today, March 15, 2023 somebody had tampered with his other car to steal it. The key fob isn't working with the car because they deactivated everything. All of this while living here and management does NOTHING! I'm sick of it and fed up. Never coming back nor do I recommend to anyone especially with nice cars! read more

The absolute worst place we lived in during our time in Atlanta. We had a horrific neighbour who made an insane amount of noise 24/7, meaning even with a white noise machine at full volume, her stomping still woke us up at 3am. Nothing was done about her despite multiple complaints. We moved out last February (2023), and are still waiting for our deposit back. After months and months of "I'll get back to you", they've now ignored my last four emails. read more

If you don't want your car burglarized, the. DONT move here! I just moved into Elan Madison Yards 3 days ago.... my car and my cousin's car was BROKEN INTO in the middle of the DAY! I left my apartment at 7am and return at 8am just to find another car was broken into! Management REFUSES to install cameras to protect their residents from the DAILY car break ins! There needs to be 24/7 security but all the management is concerned about is leasing their apartment units! Additionally, there are sketchy cars in the garage at odd times for hours. This makes me feel very unsafe! Intruders have an easy time getting into the building and parking garage due to the lack of security and the failure of installing cameras in the garage. The situation would be greatly helped if management could hire a 24/7 patrol officer AND install cameras. I was excited to live here but I will be breaking my lease since they don't want to stop people from BREAKING INTO cars! read more

Great location and well maintained. The leasing office team is welcoming and is proactive.

Everything was great until it wasn't. Brant has yet to respond to my third email about our deposit. We moved out July 3. Said our check was cut on July 27th. Next week is September and no check, no response. Pretty disappointed, as we had a decent experience living there and overlooked how long it took to get a response on inquiries. At the end of the day, I just want my money and a response as to when I will get it. read more

Falsely advertised as pet friendly, multiple car break-ins and AWFUL communication from staff- I would strongly advise not moving here! Several car break-ins have happened in a paid amenity parking lot. They charge you to park in a "secure" parking lot, then when break-ins happen, declare they won't help with any damage costs. Several neighbors and myself have suffered from our cars being broken into. We were advertised a pet friendly apartment, however dogs are not allowed in the central outdoor complex (even though when touring our first floor apartment we were assured that our dog was allowed on the mulch outside our back patio, and not on the astroturf-- that is not the case) If you have a dog- I would look for a complex that truly is pet friendly. The staff do not reply to your emails promptly (if at all!) or take any of your concerns of safety seriously. All in all, one of the worst complex's that this area has to offer. I would honestly save yourself the hassle and look into other options! read more

THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE. Horrible customer service I've been trying to get ahold of them for over 2 weeks about my deposit when I moved out 9/30. It's been 2 weeks and not a single person has called me back even though I've called almost every single day. They are trying to charge me $307 in utilities( which would be like a years worth of utilities based on my MONTHLY changes) and renters insurance (i had my own renters insurance)for after my move out date and no one will communicate with me so we can resolve this issue easily.While living there our mail was stolen several times, and even had an employee enter my apartment without prior notification and when I complained about that as a female alone in my apartment NO ONE got back to me. the only time they responded promptly is when I had mouses in my apartment even then they left the trapped squealing mouse in the locked closet that I couldn't open over night so I had to listen to it all night. do not live here if you ever expect someone to speak to you or respect you at all. read more
