The field guy is an asshole, being rude and unprofessional the entire time, and left with the problem unresolved. We bought the house built by DRHorton. Ticking sounds in the wall while heat is on. DRHorton ordered them to come last December. The guy came and identified the ductwork pipe causing that sounds and decided to just pull the vent register out couple of times. This covered up the issue for half a day and the ductwork went back to its original position. Ticking sounds back. DRHorton coordinated them to come again together with floor guy to open the floor and fix the issue. This time, same guy came and what he did is simply shifted the main vent a bit. Of course it let the sound go for the moment but that is not a solution! We told him that he did similar thing last time. He first refused to admit he had come fixing it before, after we provided more details he called his manager and finally admitted he had an unsuccessful fix last time. Then he said I had to go, my manager said that is just natural sound of a house. What the fuck? Your manager was not even here! When and how did he get the super power to hear a sound remotely and determine that's the natural sounds?! Yep, 10 min after he left and the sound is back again. We ran into him two houses away from ours about 1 hour after he left, and let him know that the sound was back. He did not give it a shit and refused to spend 5 min to come and listen. Elander replaced my Furnace and AC in Eden Prairie. AJ was amazing he came out and gave a quick estimate. We scheduled quickly and efficiently. He came to do the installation at 7 am and was done and cleaned up by 3:00 pm the same day. When the inspector came, he requested one small change and AJ was back within hours of the inspection to make the change. They helped with submitting warranties and rebates. Someone always answered the phone or replied to my texts promptly. I have used ELANDER twice; once to replace an existing sump with a whole new unit consisting of.a back up pump and a back up battery and charger. Work was done within an acceptable period of time and done well obviously because when I needed to replace the vacuum/air switch for my disposal, I used them a second time. Two different plumbers and both were on time and respectful of my property. Both did the job in a timely manner . They both answered my questions and both jobs were well done. I had to call Elander on 2 occasions for service. The first was to service the water heater. The second was to service the furnace. Both times they had someone come out same day (within a couple hours, even) when I expected that I would have to wait a day or two at the least. Our builder had elander install the plumbing and hvac. First off 1st night in our new home. Elander left a test plug in our walk in shower and found the water level rising in our walk in shower. Turned off the shower before the water level got to high. Went down stair and found my kitchen was flooded. Found out elander had a faulty drain and never Turned on the water before we moved in. They never cut the plumbing caps off the plumbing vent. The furnace was never set up and still having problems with the A/C. Horrible company beware!!! read more

Great Service - After Hours!!!!!! We had a Gas emergency after hours, Center Point energy had to shut off our gas and couldn't repair the issue. So we called the service line and got an answer right away, with confirmation a tech would be there within the hour. The technician Russ was there at 9:30 pm within the hour as promised and fixed our issue in no time. Elander Mechanical installed the furnace in our new townhome that we bought in November 2019. Since they did the installation, we had them also do an annual service just to make sure things were in good shape for the winter of 2020. During the recent coldsnap, we woke up on Saturday morning to the furnace cycling on and off, but not keeping up with the outside cold and the house temperature was slowly dropping. We called Elander and Brent from their service department talked us through over the phone how to diagnosis and resolve the problem. Things have been running smooth for this past week in subzero temperatures without any reoccurrence of the problem. Will definitely continue to have Elander help us out with maintenance of our equipment and future service needs. read more

Extremely unprofessional. This company would not respond to my service calls from myself. When I scheduled a time for them to come to my property a week after I called, they did not bother calling me back to tell me they cancelled my apt and or never scheduled it. They told me I have to pay for them to come out IF there is nothing wrong with the work they did. RUN from these people, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CONSUMER , only about themselves. They also told me there is NOTHING WRONG with my system, but yet have NEVER come to check. DO NOT TRUST businesses like this. read more

Sharing a review after a frustrating experience working with Elander on a furnace repair issue. We contacted them to inspect and repair a fan blower noise we were hearing 3 years into our furnace. It took them multiple visits in which we had to take off work, as well as one visit they did not show for (4 hour window we waited) and we had to reschedule. No apology was given for missing this appointment. We took off many hours of work on numerous days and readjusted our schedules due to all of these various visits and the no-show appointment. We were then given an extremely large bill for what turned out to be a quick fix. Based on this experience I will certainly work with another company when needed in the future. read more
