The staff is friendly and courteous. The ladies at the return desk are always helpful, even when I return items without a receipt. On Saturday September 20, 2025 I had to get six 90 pound large pavers. As I struggled to lift and move them to the cart I noticed a Home Depot employee standing 25 feet behind me, kind of hidden in a corner. He was standing there holding two orange flags. There was no forklift in the area so I don't know what he was doing. What I do know what he was doing was watching a 68 year old man struggling with these pavers and not offering to help. After paying for the pavers I rolled the cart to my truck dreading lifting them up. Out of nowhere a Home Depot employee showed up offing to help me. He introduced himself as Nick. Nick was extremely friendly and respectful . He helped me lifting these pavers. When done he shook my hand and thanked me for shopping at Home Depot. Great job Nick.

The finish on the door was 3/4 good, but 1/4 like it was sanded with a brick. I reported it Immediately to the contractor, who sent photos and reported to Wilburn. A month passed with no response. Finally, I contacted the sale person myself. I was told that I should contact the distributor. The distributor said " they can't lose money on the sale" and offered no assistance. I was then referred to the manufacturer (Hoelscher Weatherstrip), who said it is the distributor's problem. I called the distriburor, Central Woodwork, who said, you have to contact Wilburn Hardware, and offered no help. I contacted the owner of Wilburn, who said, I should not have stained it myself (after their salesman said I should) and sometimes these irregularities happen. Of course they do when you substitute a brick for sand paper or drag it through a parking lot. They did not offer to inspect it in person or offer any remedy to fix it. The owner's only rebuttal was that I still owed for the door I had paid for on delivery. Essentially Wilburn Hardware has NO service after they take your money. I will not do business there again. Next stop, BBB.

So, I gave them a try for some interior painting in my house. The paint looks good and seems to be high quality. My understanding is Farrell Calhoun is a Tennessee-based brand that's only in the East/Southeast and they don't spend much on marketing. Overall: This is a good choice for quality paint at an economical cost.
