I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler and the audio system sounded thin and chintzy. I visited a couple of car audio places looking for a solution. I went somewhere else first and the person at the counter was polite but condescending. I priced out quality name brand components online prior to coming in. The prices I was quoted were astronomical compared to what I had figured based off what I had seen from various retailers online. After that experience I was a little discouraged, but decided to try Electric avenue based off of their online reviews. The difference was night and day. I was greeted in a genuinely friendly manner. I explained what I was wanting to accomplish and was offered several options. One of the staff members sat in my vehicle and listened to my audio system before recommending adding a subwoofer. I was quoted a price that was about a third of what had been quoted at the first place. I went back a few days later after having decided to go with the powered subwoofer. I was expecting to make an appointment to have the unit installed. To my surprise I was told that they could install it immediately if I desired. The installation was quick (about an hour and a half), clean and professional. I got the sound I was hoping for at a fair price. Not only would I go back here again, but would also refer Electric Avenue to friend# and familly. read more

BEWARE! UNPROFESSIONAL INEXPERIENCED. I purchased a subwoofer and a amp. I also had them install the unit. The job was never done well. I had to return my jeep over 8 different time's for them to easily figure out why my system kept shorting out. This brother owned company is incapable and unreliable. After giving them applicable chances they failed as a Business. I still have a USELESS system. I'm disgusted and pissed, I feel like I have been cheated out of lots of $$. I'm truly concerned that many more humans will end up like me . Please be smarter and wiser than me and go else where. read more

I went in for a wiring harness for a new stereo for a diy job. The three brothers worked with me to help me get it done right. They explained the most cost effective ways to troubleshoot the issues and get the problems worked out. My stereo is sounding amazing! Stopped in here cause they are next to my p. O. Box and wanted to find out about improving my car alarm to be proactive about smash and grabs, had them replace my factory alarm which isn't real sensitive with an alarm that is better AND has remote start. Very happy with it, better to be proactive ahead of time. They were able to use my original remote from honda instead of adding an additional remote too. read more

After taking 4 vehicles and referrals I have been very unhappy with my stereo system that was installed. The first set blew and electric avenue does not do returns or exchanges. So it's a huge waste of install, money and product (that I paid for) and my time. I will never go back. The high prices are ridiculous. The service of my subwoofer install was horrible and wrong. There were several issues with the first unit, but they worked with me until I was satisfied with the install and performance. I really appreciated the good customer service. read more

Wanted to support a local business and I had heard great things online about this place. Decided to drop by in the morning to get a quote on a 4-Channel Amp install. price wasn't too bad and was planning on returning next month for installation. As I was leaving, an employee told me to have a great day and then called me a name under his breath. Super disappointed because again the price wasn't too bad. Not too sure what I did to deserve that one, but I hope the guy who works the front learns to not be so hateful towards others. I was polite and respectful the entire time I interacted with this employee. Nothing I could've done or said warranted that. We got an alpine radio, backup camera and fog lights installed March 2022. Our radio turns off whenever we receive a phone call or just for no reason. We took the car to Electric Ave to have them look at the radio. They connected thier phone to the radio and it worked. The next day we had the same problem, radio turns off whenever someone is calling. This Electric Ave place said they didn't have anymore radios in stock and they couldn't replace it. Clearly, the radio has a defect, they didn't come up with any resolutions like installing a different radio that cost the same price. They wanted us to contact Alpine. No, we paid for a product and it should work. We pay $360 a month for these items. They only care about money and young, pretty girls at this place. Do not waste your time with this company, they definitely are not worth it. You will be stuck with a product that doesn't work. read more

The installer backed my car up into an employees truck and didn't bother to tell me until I showed him the damage and he said "I didn't think it did anything" when obviously it did because the damage was HORRID, and then refused to show me the camera video of what happened which was sketchy. I ALWAYS take before and after pictures of My vehicle before I do anything to my car just in case something like this happens. Which unfortunately it happened to my car. They also made my bumper pop out. read more

Spent over 1700 here to have all my speakers replaced as well as a new screen and a new bass system. Never got boxes for any of my new speakers. I took it to Best Buy after getting the run around with these guys here and the Best Buy speaker guy told me they charged me for MULTIPLE items that they never put into my car. They charged me over $300 for WIRES. Then put $19 wires throughout my whole car. Which means I will now have to pay Best Buy to completely rewire my entire car. Don't waste your time at this place they are very unprofessional and won't offer any kind of warranty no matter how much your paying. read more

My daughter spent $1600 to have her stereo installed and it has never worked correctly from day one. She has gone back multiple times to only be given the run around and told that nothing was wrong. In addition she wasn't given any paperwork for the stereo and speakers that she paid for. She now has to take her car elsewhere and pay to have there work corrected. I have come here 2 times. One was for a complete system in my jeep (over $3000). I was not happy with the install or the service. I decided to try them again and had a CB installed. They charged over $200 and I had my own cb. I've had to take it back twice and it's not working . All I get is excuse after excuse. Mike the owner is rude and has zero customer service. His brother is nice and I believe he works at the Jeep dealership also, as I buy a lot of Jeep's. I had a system I wanted installed but I'm going to just go somewhere else where they appreciate my business. Paid for a simple install and he blamed the product which was brand new. He said it was a very simple install "so it must be the CB" yet he charged me almost $300 for the install. People just need to value there customers. I've spent over $3000 here. I'm not going back I've already been back and they treat me like they are doing me a favor. read more

on nov. 27th, 20 i purchased a led light kit for the rear of my truck and had it installed. the led lights were all different colors but white! was not able to exchange them because it was late and i had to travel the next morning. he said he would exchange them when i returned. the installed lights stopped working after 2 weeks. i called him and he was too busy to talk to me. called him several times to no avail. i finally got a hold of him last week 3- 29-21 and he scheduled me to come in today 4-2-21@ 9:30 am. first he didn't want to do anything then this shister wanted another $150 on top of want i paid him. this installation also caused the brake lights and dome lights to go out. the pro installers shorted out the fuses. the installers are not pro's. he has different installers working there all the time. that should tell you something! this guy is nothing more than a rip off artist. i filed a complaint with the state of new mexico attorney general's office. read more
