The price quote was negotiable which i liked, and felt that was fair. All in all, this place was helpful, courteous and efficiently did what i asked of them. I want to also mention that these people have a warehouse full if products. Meaning no middle man. So the supplies are a whole lot cheaper then other companies that I've dealt with in the past. One of the reasons I opened up a yelp account was to tell you about my experience with this company. Recently I got married and as with any couple, moving meant renovations. Where im from, that meant getting new lights, fixtures and making sure I have an outlet for every iPod and laptop I have, alot. I asked some of my friends who they would recommend, as word of mouth is usually the most trustworthy, and two of them told me about leading electric. I called them up expecting nothing and... I was pleasantly surprised . I spoke witt an extremely professional individual who knew things about electrical word id never imagined. I explained what I needed, he actually was by my house within 15-20 mins and after I showed him what I wanted, he offered his advice which was really helpful, and the price quote was fair, and within the day I was good to go. My experience with the company led me to this conclusion. I couldn't have been more pleased with the quick, efficient, incredibly helpful and friendly service, that honestly has seemed to be absent in many companies today, especially electricians. Electrican Techs sent a 2 man team to do some installations in my house. They showed up an hour late, then proceeded to complete most of the work quickly and efficiently. After two and a half hours of work, they insisted on leaving (at 1:30pm) with the job incomplete. This would have left me without lighting until the next day. I called the dispatcher to complain and she sent me another electrician to complete the job that evening. I later called for a job quote for future work, but what they gave me was useless, as they would only provide a total quote, instead of an itemized one. The best part about this company is Rosemary the dispatcher, a total joy to deal with. Everyone else is sub-par in one way or another. read more

Don't be fooled - they're great on the phone, responsive, seemingly professional, but the work that was ultimately performed was decidedly sub-par. Every light they installed had one flaw or another (improperly set, hole cut bigger than the light itself, not in the position we had marked out etc), and they made a remarkable mess in the process. I'd give one star, but they sent Warren out after I complained to reinstall the switches (which were almost comically crooked), so at least that was eventually done right (and the lights they installed do turn on and off, so there's that). P.S. Had they sent Warren to do the original job, I bet this would be a very different review. read more

I called Electrician Techs to check out the outlets in my new apartment and to install a new flush mount. They were great - super responsive and I was able to schedule quickly. I needed them to come a week after I contacted them, but they did have next day availability, which I appreciated. They sent over all the COIs and licenses my building needed right away. The tech was also great - he answered all my questions and checked out all the outlets and tested them. He installed the flush mount quickly and double checked that it was working. I had a ceiling fan with lights installed where there was no light fixture, and also several outlets replaced. Steve did everything smoothly, quickly, and neatly. He also wore a mask the entire time -- important if you're worried about COVID. Moshe was great about scheduling everything. I live in a co-op and the co-op required some paperwork from the electricians. Moshe did everything promptly. Also, the total cost was about $500 less than what another electrician offered. We had a funky wiring situation in a bathroom, and wanted to install a new smart switch humidity sensing fan switch, or at least find out if it was possible. The technician was punctual, patient, and helped cleanup the switch box! In the end because of the old wiring in this old house we weren't able to connect the smart switch, and installed a traditional timer switch for the fan. In the end we were very pleased with the service provided! and the rate was very reasonable for the amount of time and effort this took. Would definitely hire again! read more

I was dissatisfied with their service. Initially, they assured me that they could complete the work, but in the end, all they managed to do was replace a ceiling light fixture in under 20 minutes. We had discussed the job beforehand, and I even sent pictures, which they said would not be a problem. Since he did a great job with the light fixtures, I decided to hire them for the circuit breaker job. The job was done efficiently, and completed in under 3 hours. I am a homeowner of a old 4 unit house which was built in the 50's, I recently had used Leading Electric a few times to rewire the entire house which was wired with the old knob and tube wiring .
