I understand not carrying a part -- that's fine -- but taking a VIN and then not following up, and not providing a clear referral, wasted my time. If you're going to collect info for a lookup, I'd expect either a return call or a direct lead on where to get it. They came to my aid when I needed help and got me sorted and back on the road. I highly recommend the team at Coast Riders for any service, repair or accessory shopping needs for your motorcycle or scooter. Last October 14, 2024 I attempted to ride solo over 1000 miles in under 21 hours via the Nevada Desert and the Sonora Pass. Basically a fun, but serious challenge for which I prepared for by mounting new tires on my motorcycle the week before the attempt. I'm not from San Luis Obispo, but towards the end of epic my ride, I found myself stranded in Pismo Beach with a nail in my brand new rear tire after 900 miles of continuous riding over 19 hours. Yikes. At this point I was cold, wet and tired and it was 10 pm at night. I managed to limp the bike into Pismo Beach, Ca on the rear flat. I I decided to get a hotel room and sort out my problem in the morning. My rear tire was destroyed. The next morning, I found Coast Riders Powersports on the web and gave them a call to see if I could, possibly, buy a new tire and get it mounted quickly. They were great....and totally reassuring. The office manager understood my problem and my need to get my bike back on the road quickly to get home (and to get back to work!). The Coast Team had a tire in stock and gave me a great deal. They cleared their schedule and opened up a service rack to, really, a total stranger who was broken down on the road. I received the best service. So I had AAA load my bike and the AAA trailer and transported it 13 miles to the Coast Riders very nice Work Shop located in San Luis Obispo. Coast Riders took care of everything and had me back on the road in less than 4 hours after I first phoned them to ask for help. I was in so cal and my water pump went out, it was Easter. I called good Sam and they recommended calling PC mechanic inc on Monday. I called good Sam they set up a tow truck and called PC Mechanic inc and spoke with an awesome service writer named Charles. This guy took care of business, explained everything, made a point to get my rig fixed ASAP and let me stay the night since by the time the tow truck came Monday it was to late to work on it. First thing at 7 am the next day they found the issue, they expedited getting the water pump and got me up and running that morning. They didn't try to find crap to charge for that didn't need to be done. Honest, trustworthy, quality work and reasonable price. So the hourly rate is $375.00 but la together it was under 450.00. The thing I look at is if you can't afford the work in the rv world don't get an rv. They require maintenance and repair. I'll tell you what, I will be making an appointment to have all the other stuff done I want done in November. Would recommend this place to all RVers

Number 6 is a well known coil to go bad. The best thing about getting them all replaced was the mechanic found the number 3 plug had backed itself loose. He was able to use a tap to recover the threads and get a new plug in. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service. Front office staff was friendly and professional and the whole place is really clean. I will definitely recommend them to friends with RV's. Thanks to everyone at PC Mechanical.

Javier said they could not send anyone out until 2:30 pm., not having another option, I decided to spend my vacation day waiting for them to arrive. At 3pm, I received a call from Javier saying they had an"emergency" and would not be able to come until later. I asked "how much later" he said he didn't know but would call me back. It is 6:30pm, and noone called or came by. So I have no electricity for my rv all night long. Would not recommend this company, and they definitely are NOT RAPID!

I'd call the receptionist and she would ask me to call her back because she was busy and in the middle of something else. I guess my business was not important to them because after leaving at least 3 messages for repair a month away they never returned a call and I was not going to deal with their rude receptionist to tell me to call back when she wasn't busy. Honestly surprised with everyone who has left positive reviews- maybe they are used to bad service and accept it but there are much better companies to come do a mobile repair.
