    In the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott parking lot

    This is sadly the only Tesla Supercharger (thus far...) between Santa Barbara (via the 154) or Goleta (via the 101) and Santa Maria. Unlike various other Superchargers in the area, it's conveniently off the 101 freeway versus inland. There is still amenities including a McDonalds, Taco Bell, Habit Burger, Starbucks, and other non-chain food options like The Hitching Post II and Pea Soup Anderson's. If you're not the one driving, get dropped off at a nearby winery for a wi tasting while charging ;). There are 10 total stalls with up to 150kW of charge. All in all, thankful for this Central Coast Supercharger.

    Really super fast Tesla Supercharger station near Marriott Hotel in a quiet neighborhood and clean parking lot outside. There were surprisingly many chargers and only two cars charging at the time we arrived. All stalls were working and the mall had a nice McDonald's as well as a large theater. The fast charging station gave me 120 miles in twenty minutes. I recommend this charging station since it's so close to Hwy 101 off of Santa Barbara.

    Wow, they totally re-did this place! The new chargers are so fancy, I've never seen these type before. They have really long cables, great for third party cars and trucks, and they are fast! They also have fancy lcd screens. The Marriott there also has a really nice bar and restrooms.

    Charging station gets a 5! Tesla drivers that leave their garbage...a 0-. How do you figure out life if you can't even take your waste to a McDonalds trash can about 30 yards away?? Gross

    They all didn't work one night. Had been there before but it was coned off every other one and none of them worked.

    Lovely supercharger station in the parking lot of a big Marriot. Lots of food options in the area.

    Charge is Convenient and close to Hwy 101. Powerful with 98kw charge rate. Telephone service weak with 1-2 bars in ATT.

    Stayed here for our holiday trip up to Solvang. Staff were friendly and it was pretty fast to check in/check out. Parking was decent and never really had to go too far to find a spot. Overall the hotel was clean and cared for both inside and outside. Looked like it had a great bar/restaurant but didn't get a chance to go. Same with the pool, our room was directly over it and I could see people enjoying it throughout the day. The room was clean and kept up, no damage or ware that I could see. Also good sound rating as we never heard people in the pool or our neighbors. Big drawback to the room was it had no microwave so you have to go to the lobby to access one. The ice machine was also on the other side of the hotel through the lobby which was a bit inconvenient. If I could I would give this a 3.5 but there was a lot more positive than negative so the 4 is warranted.

One was inside, near the bed next to the balcony door, and the other was outside on the balcony, next to a small pile of cigarette butts. The sofa had a large dark stain with what looked like chocolate shavings. In the bathroom, fresh towels were placed on top of an exposed dirty pipe in one of the cubbies under the sink vanity. I'm curious to know why there are any exposed pipes in the first place. I'm sure having exposed pipes violates multiple city and health codes. One unique thing I noticed at this Marriott hotel was that the room had Febreze Car Clip Air Fresheners attached to the AC vents. I've never seen this at any other hotel. I'm not sure if this is standard practice at this hotel or if it was added to this particular room because the previous guest smoked in it. I emailed the hotel general manager, never received a reply or courtesy call. This is not what we expected from a reputable brand like Marriott.

The staff know me after so many years and they know what I like. That feels good as a customer. If I need deli-service I can toss a coin on the level of service I'll get. One time a young clerk stood in front of me and stared. No "hello, may I help you." I smiled as I looked at him and said- "Good morning?" I held hope that my example would help him mirror my behavior and be friendlier to the next person. At the coffee counter, my chances are 70/30 that I'll get poor service. It feels like they're doing me a favor. I drink black coffee. Simple and easy, yet it's usually an awkward experience. The supplement department staff is usually excellent and very helpful. The inventory is good. I usually find what I need. The produce section is well stocked. I like their avocados. I rarely need help, but the staff is always helpful and friendly when I do. I love the self-serve bulk spice and tea section. You can save so much money buying in bulk. Check-out cashiers can be very good and friendly or tepid. Considering how much I'm paying for the privilege to shop here, I shouldn't be so casual about this store, but there are few markets in the area. Customer service is a tough job, I understand.

We were assured that it was the top of the line, so without seeing anything in person, we took the word of the sales manager and ordered it. Once it was installed (by the installer they set up for us) it was immediately evident that it was "rickety" at best. It was also an eyesore, with bright, plastic looking chrome on the handle which would have been impossible to see from the tiny thumbnail across the counter we looked at before agreeing to purchase (totally on us). But more importantly it wasn't stable. It rattles horribly when you open it. It rattles horribly when you close it. And it moves all around inside of its compartment. When we contacted the store, complete with video, we were told "no refunds," which was never disclosed during the purchase process. The receipt is emailed to you with the disclosure after you purchased the item and leave the store. The response from the manager was that this was the highest quality trash compactor on the market, despite the videos showing the contrary. He said maybe the install was dome incorrectly but his installer, who is very nice, told us that was the best he could do, so it was basically too bad for us. Buyer beware.

    I had the pleasure of speaking with Mark a couple of weeks ago. My experience was great and he was…read morevery knowledgeable. I will be using him in the future when we decide to purchase a home theater system. I recently moved to the area and the home we purchased had two speakers in the ceiling with multiple different speaker wires coming out of the wall. As I was trying my best to hook up the ceiling speaker to our TV I was unable to figure out which speaker wire belonged to the ceiling speakers. That is when I turned to Yelp to help me find a service provider. I sent a message through to Mark including pictures of our home set up. Mark reached out the same day over the phone and went over some easy hacks I could use to help solve the problem. He then began to provide me more information regarding a home theater system. His recommendation worked. Thanks again Mark for your help in this matter. I hope to use you again in the future.

    Contacted Mark back in August to request he perform some re-running of speaker wires to my home…read moreentertainment setup (moving from one wall to another). Mark returned my call the next day, which was the *only* time he responded promptly. He said he would be in my area at the end the week, but that came and went without a call or text from Mark. I sent him text messages on Sept. 1 and Sept. 7, and finally got a response on Sept. 14, with Mark apologizing for not getting back to me. He indicated he could make something happen the following week, which I agreed to. On Sept. 21, I received a text from Mark indicating he needed to reschedule, as his young child was sick at home, and he needed to be there. Fair enough. On Sept. 27, I texted Mark again, seeking another time he could come out...CRICKETS! On Oct. 10, I texted him again, indicating that I would appreciate a response if he had any intention of working on my project...CRICKETS, to this day! Bottom line: I understand that "stuff" happens that adversely affects schedules, but no amount of "stuff" should prevent common courtesy from occurring - a simple return text or call indicating the problem, and this would have saved me the time of writing this poor review. The Audio Solution may be technically great, but I never got a chance to experience that - only extremely poor communication, or none at all. I can only assume that Mark didn't really want to do the job I need done, but instead of being up front with me, he produced excuses, or didn't communicate at all. POOR business model...CAVEAT EMPTOR: use The Audio Solution at your own risk, especially if you covet communication and follow through with the service you're using.
