Absolutely horrible. All the station in Los Angeles ( Woodland Hills & Enscino for me to be exact) are always busy and to charge your car you have to stay for an hour just to get to the charger. Half of the chargers are not working. And this is the main reason you can not charge you car without staying in line. Customer service is nice but this is not enough. Horrible company and customer service. It should be brought to court in a class-action lawsuit. Purchased a BMW i7 with a 3 years premium charging plan from Electrify America in March 2024. 4 months later, the app is still not working, can't use the public chargers and Electrify America has not been able to fix anything at all. read more

I got 2 years free charge from BMW for my car. Unfortunately 3 put of 4 charging stations in Sherman Oaks and Tarzana are always broken lately. Every time I call to report a broken charger, they say we know about the issue and service is scheduled for the charger but there is no time frame. Last week I had to wait 2 hours inline to be able to charge my car because only on out of 4 chargers was working. Today was exactly the same situation as last week and only one charger was working with 4 cars ahead of me, I ended up leaving and planning to go back after midnight to charge my car. Luckily I still have two ICE cars to drive and take care of business. I'm not sure how other people deal with this situation. read more

It's been almost a year since I've been using their chargers. I bought a Hyundai IONIQ 5 and I have free charging for a year. The charging stations that I utilize constantly have broken chargers. They'll be three charges, but only one will work. It takes several months to get fixed sometimes. read more

I would give no stars because it's your typical bait and switch. You buy an electric car and they say "we will give you 2 years of free charge with this company". Most of the charging stations don't work, locator shows incorrect information and if you like wasting your time- use this chargers. EA really has to get its act together to provide a reliably consistent charging experience. There are typically sets of three chargers and at least one is usually not working. Those that do work are wonky to operate, sometimes necessitating several attempts to successfully charge. I do not recommend them as a charging network and would caution auto manufacturers about offering EA to its customers. read more

Used an Electrify America charging station for the first time and it was the biggest RIP OFF. Normally get 200 miles or more on a full "80%" charge, but when I checked on my car at an outlet mall where the chargers are far from the shops it was only at about 60%. So i went back to get my child and returned to the car about 30 minutes later. I was charged $56.60! 15.60 was for the charge and the other $40 was an idling fee I was charged!! However, my car was not close to be "fully" charged. I called to explain to customer service and ask to remove the idling charge since my car wasn't charged but they said "there's nothing they can do". Terrible service, over-priced and I would recommend using a different charging service. The rates are high and they charge for Idling, even when you're not. AVOID USING ELECTRIFY AMERICA unless you have money to waste.... Terrible customer service, terrible value so, bad quality over all. read more

Two of the three stations are always service. Do not waste your time calling because they always say they will send a repair team. I wish I had purchased a Tesla because they have numerous charging stations Mercedes needs to find a new charging vendor before they lose sales. read more

First time using Electrify America for my ID4. Charging was slow 34 kw and would take 1 hour 30 minutes. I tried using the 30-minute free services that come with my car and it didn't work. So I had to use my debit card. A good samaritan helped me and gave me a helpful tip. He told me to stop charging and then try charging again and the kw would go up. Well, I did and tied my 30 free minutes and it worked. KW went up to 76 and the charging time was 15 minutes. I told him that my dealer told me to charge up and if I wanted more time to return within one hour, but the gentleman that was helping me said it was BS! He owns the same car I have and had been charging it for 1 year. I charged 80 and when it came time to disconnect, the plug's light would not turn white and remained green for 10 minutes. Now I am afraid they will charge me for idling minutes. I tried calling Electrify America and I never got to speak to a person. Eventually, the plug turned white and I was able to disconnect. The location with the problem was on BoA CA7-193 941 N. Tusting St, Orange, CA 92867 left plug charging station #4. read more
