Amazing staff! Good price! I always had the car dealer take care of parts and labor, but I came here just for the windshield wiper fluid. I walked in, looked at the labels on the aisles, and the staff immediately helped me on what I was looking for! Not even 30 sec into the store and I was being helped! The windshield wiper was coincidently located behind the cash register as well as in aisle 1. It was only $5.50 after tax for a gallon of windshield wiper fluid. Amazon was like $15+. This location seems small with limited selection. Saw 3 different windshield wiper fluid product. There isn't variety in brands. Everything inside is well organized and the items are placed forward most. Good customer support and very affordable. read more

Got 2 multi-surface painters tape 1in x 60yds from a rack that said "buy 2 for $5" , realized they charged me $5 each for them. I go back and they said "oh we got new people so they probably put the labels on wrong" lol also $18 for 2' painters tape ? Go to target or Harbor Freights and get them for less than $10. Other than that they were chill I guess. read more

Just wanted to shout out to the two Matthews at this store. One, a seasoned pro. The other, just learning. Both very willing and able to help my sister and me on this particular day (Mar 14, 2026). A simple rear break light replacement. We read the instructions, found the correct-sized wrench, drove down the street to the shop and paid for a pack of bulbs. There was no line - the crew seemed cheerful and attentive. Since this was a truck we were in charge of for the day, we wanted the light changed correctly. With the Mathews' help, and our curious eyes upon them (so we could do it ourselves next time), the job was done in less than 10 minutes. read more

Hi. I visited this store last week because My car needed a jump and I bought a battery 1 yr ago here. So I went back here And a very nice Young African-American gentleman assisted Me in checking My Battery, Alternator and starter and They were all Good. so I went home and loosened the terminals and found the negative terminal had allot of corrosion on it. I cleaned and scrubbed it real good and applied some petroleum jelly to it. it now starts like a champ. Thank You so much. If you're a (sometimes) DYI guy on your car then Autozone can be a great place to pickup some good discounts. I actually saved $100 dollars on my car battery there recently-- every penny counts as they say! Customer service is never hardly an issue. I decided to give AutoZone a second chance after a less than favorable experience before at another location. Isaac was a huge help in replacing a defective wiper blade. Great service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Since my wrist is all jacked up, and I have a broken finger. I could not install it myself, however, hewas happy to do it even in the rain. If i could give zero star i would, went to the store at 4625 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. I had my battery tested and it was bad, I bought a new battery and one of your technicians installed it, I drove to work ok but when I came out of work at night my car wouldn't turn on, I had to call my roadside service from my car insurance and pay for someone to come out and look at the car. He discovered the battery was totally loose and one part was not installed. He thought the battery was the incorrect one, it was too tall the have the battery lockdown fit correctly. He tightened it and I was able to start my car.. I drove back to the store at and arrived there around 7pm. I told them my issue and I was told that batteries are only installed from 8-5.. I was upset and the manager came out to look at my car also. He said the person that had installed the battery was new and hadn't done it correctly, he made sure it was tight and asked me to come back today to get it fixed and they would give me some of my money back for all of my trouble. My husband brought my car back today and got the battery installed correctly, it turns out it was the correct battery but it was installed wrong. They did not give him any money back on the battery and this is very upsetting to me.. This was a horrible experience and cost me alot of time and money. Stay away!! read more

There are auto supply shops everywhere, some of the well known chains in the area,...in business for decades. And then there is Autozone of Lomita, like no other. The difference is the management who is receptive and available to install parts you buy there that are installable in a minimum amount of time. Then there's Michael, who seems more adept and proficient at this than others. No, they aren't mechanics and don't profess to be. Their courtesy goes beyond a handshake and a smile, to get you going, saving you an additional "to do" with a mechanic. If your mechanic is accessible and available at a moment's notice with parts and labor...go there. For everyone else, there's Autozone of Lomita! read more

Okay here we Go! A week ago or so took my car to the shop. I was told my battery is no good and it will die on me soon. I knew this but because situations out of my hands these days.. I continued to drive my car and finally today it died (RIP). Called AAA , Martin was the guy he check my battery and said it's no good we have a Battery for $360 all include with warranty I said what? $260 or $360 he never answered back . I said let me look for a near by AZone and this location is exactly 9mon from my job. I opted out and told him no thank You, Azone is way cheaper and I'm sure I'll get a discount for turning in this battery. He then stated "you should turn off the car for a few minutes " I then replied to him you must think live in a bubble are you sh*****ng me so I can make another AAA call to you for a battery call and then I'm forced to buy this battery from you. I said nope I'm leaving now to Azone. Called and this Gentleman answered the phone Assistant Manager. I recommend him and he's okay in my books and experience, very helpful and also gave me feedback on turning in the battery and lay the difference for an upgrade on the battery. If you're considering using AutoZone in Torrance for their "gratis" battery installation, think again. They did such a poor job on my Kia Rio that I had to pay for additional service elsewhere to fix their mistakes. (It didn't start several times! THANK YOU, AAA!) To make matters worse, the woman answering the phones during the week was incredibly rude, condescending, and completely off-putting. I didn't catch her name, but her attitude was enough to make me vow never to return. Save yourself the hassle and expense--do not patronize this location! read more

They sold me a bad alternator , and instead of being able to order replacement and swap on warrenty made me pay for part again .. not cool oriely and other shops dont do this if they fixed this policy i would use them more often for my needs read more

A few weeks ago I came to this location needing to redeem the warranty on a dead battery. I had to have AAA jump my car in the first place just to get the store and was down bad with needing to take out the battery, coordinate a time and place for the new battery installation, then actually get the car a mechanic that would swap out the batteries, etc. Three associates--no, ANGELS--at this location were able to communicate clearly, set my expectations, and successfully helped me coordinate swapping the battery out all in under 45 mins. The names of these AutoZone heroes are Isaac, Marco, and Matthew. Thank you! I hope AutoZone corporate recognizes your team's hard work, fantastic customer service, and commitment to excellence. Absolutely ROTTEN SERVICE at the AutoZone store at Anza and Torrance Blvd in Torrance -- DON'T BUY FROM THEM! They are horrible with returns, don't trust anything you say and refuse you if you don't have your receipt in hand! I bought a BATTERY THERE and because I couldn't find the receipt they refused to replace the BATTERY AFTER IT TESTED BAD. A MONTH OLD BATTERY that supposed to have a 3 year Warranty!!! DISHONEST BAD BUSINESS OUTFIT!! The help there is like a bunch of reformatory inmates and stand around shooting the breeze while you wait for help. I will NEVER return to that store!! read more

So horrible!!! My wife went needed to replace the battery and they didn't know what to do. Gave my wife BS saying that there are two batteries (only has one) and they should go to a mechanic. My wife then went to another AutoZone on Carson and they were able to do this. The workers were very rude. Dear managers please train your employees correctly. Just a quick shout out to a great employee at this store. I went in and told Anthony I needed new wiper blades for my Dodge Ram. (Before the rain comes). This is where Anthony shines as an asset to the company. He found them in stock, went to get them and asked if he could install them. everything worked perfect and gave me a free jug of washer fluid from my rewards card. Poor customer service. I just received a call from my husband about his experience at this location. My husband went to exchange broken windshield wipers that I bought the other day from another location. The cashier was giving him a hard time because he needed my card to do an exchange for the same item. The manager came and had a nasty attitude. She asked him to swipe his card and he asked if it was going to charge anything since it's an exchange. She replied rudely "NO." Then he wanted to purchase another set of windshield wipers for his work van. They were both confused and questioned him for not adding it onto the same transaction. He explained that he needed it on his card to expense it, and his work will reimburse him for the purchase. He didn't get the managers name. But she was shorter female. read more

I went to this autozone to get a simple car battery replacement and the manger Eric instantly greeted me inside. Right after he offered me a manager discount and saved me money on my replacement battery. It was raining that day plus my old battery was very corroded beyond it should have been. He had no problem changing the batteries for me with ease and quickness. He even cleaned off all the corrosion left behind without asking. Loved my experience here and I don't live close to this location but I'm definitely going back to them if I need to. 10/10 read more
