I eventually found Brianna at 27 through Instagram, who made the process easy by using your consultation to learn more about me, how I dress to match my style, and what I wanted from the tattoo. I could not have been more impressed when I came back for the first session and saw that the image I had provided made by chatgpt had been transformed into something that I will cherish forever! Brianna was also almost exact on her quote for the amount of hours it would take and price. The studio itself is very clean and many individual rooms, so it felt private and comfortable. I was a bit nervous because I have vasovagal reactions to needles, but Brianna was prepared made sure I was good when we started both sessions. Brianna went over the top to make sure I had some tattoo balm to take home after the first session since I only had products that would have damaged the tattoo. I wanted a certain orbital but he said not only is my ear not as pronounced there, it's a very complex healing process. Luckily I had already researched Old West & liked another orbital picture they posted to Yelp so that one was my second choice & Torin was all over it! He measured & placed it PERFECTLY. Plus I got a flat piercing & he placed that perfectly as well in comparison to my other piercings. His commitment to health & safety is unmatched & both piercing are healing so well with the saline solution I bought from Old West. I came back exactly a month to get the shorter post needed for my flat and it was just such a pleasure to show Torin how great they both look! I was telling him my idea while he was killing people in the game. In my gut I knew I should have left but made sense why he had his own walk in corner maybe because he wasn't as skilled. I told him I was only interested in learning about it and he said I have no right to know. Like this is a thousand year old human tradition? Not your monopoly. Have heard some other horror stories from smaller independent artists that this group is trying to make tattooing more exclusive. Maybe right, but not their place to decide who or why.
