Not only were they unable to finish the job we hired them to do, they damaged our home. Everything needs to be redone and fixed. Our kitchen sink is made of cast iron and lost it's luster after a few decade. A new one would have cost around $1,500. My wife found these guys online and we decided to try them. I have to start by saying, my wife is a perfectionist. George and Bill arrived exactly as they said they would. They got to work by masking everything. There was no need to remove or disconnect any plumbing. The coating was applied within an hour and they left. The perfectionist found a few spots that she didn't like. The team came back a few days later, sanded and applied a fresh coat. They were out of the driveway five minutes and my wife spotted something she didn't like. They came right back and corrected it. My wife apologized for making them come back. She was told they offer a one year warranty and she can call them back out at any time. At first I thought the price was a little steep. What we got was basically a new kitchen sink and excellent Customer Service. The price was worth the investmen. I would gladly use them again, if we feel the need. read more

I had my daughter's bathtub refinished by Electro Bond Refinishing in October 2023, but the finish developed cracks and blisters after only two months. I called the Electro Bond Refinishing office in early January and they were willing to schedule an appointment to have the tub repaired, but the appointment was never scheduled because I requested copies of the product safety data sheets because I was worried that the fumes that would remain after the tub was repaired could cause my 3-month old grandson to get cancer. It is now late September, and the tub looks far worse than before the tub was refinished. I have left multiple voicemails at the Electro Bond Refinishing office over the last 3 weeks, but no one has returned my calls. I tried sending an email to the same address that I used for approving the invoice, but I got a message from my email provider that my email wasn't delivered. read more

Bill and George were good about letting me know that they were on the way, and when they arrived and had assessed my tub's redo needs, the task ended up being shorter in time and less in cost than estimated. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Extremely disappointed not only with the quality of work of this company but also their professionalism and customer service. They came to our home to refinish the bathroom tub and tile and not only did terrible work but ruined other parts of the bathroom in the process. We contacted the company after the first time their employees were in our home and they sent them back and they made it worse! Including causing damage to our new tile floor and door. I used Electro Bond about 10 years ago and they did a great job on my tub. I called them back to update a whirlpool tub and bathroom tile. It was a disaster. Many details go into the lack of professionalism but it amounted to over 3 months of trying to get the work completed and repaired, 10 visits for what should have been 2 days, many emails, and numerous phone calls. In the end there was damage to my walls that had to be repaired and repainted plus 8 hours of cleaning overspray. I would give them 0 starts if possible. Don't do it! I complained to the Better Business Bureau and they were useless since the owner offered me 10% refund which in no way covered the damage done. If you ignore my review and decide to book with them, ask which technician does not have to return to jobs multiple times to make sure the work is acceptable. read more

We had Electro Bond turn an ugly 1940s pink bathroom (wall tile & tub) into a beautiful shining white bathroom in 2001. This year (2018) I contacted Elecro Bond to do some touch-ups and once again, they did a fantastic job. Really like the two men performing the work. They did extras and provided me with special cleaning solution to help maintain the finish. Cannot recommend this company more highly. The initial application was significantly flawed, bumpy, uneven, and a hole was left in the shower base. Their technician used regular masking tape that ripped the paint off my bathroom walls in multiple spots. He also did not wear shoecovers and left a paint footprint on my hardwood floors. They never offered to fix or pay for the property damage to my walls and floor despite being provided photographic proof. A second technician repaired the hole and performed a cosmetic respray. Thereafter a shower door was installed. When that shower door was replaced 2 months later, the "liquid porcelain" finish that is supposed to be 95% as strong as baked porcelain peeled right off when the shower door caulk was removed. There are chips in the finish which scratches easily with even a penny. And we haven't used the shower yet! Electro Bond refuses to repair or refund, despite the 11 year warranty plastered all over their advertising. They are not a reputable company. read more

Used them 6 years ago to refinish 2 bathtubs. Gave 11 year warranty-written on contract. Called about refinishing one of the tubs they did due to surface coming up. Want $180 to come up as the "deductible" and when they come out the technician will decide IF it's a covered repair. They said it probably isn't and then I will owe any additional fees to refinish it. ?? They already have your money-at that point you don't have a choice but pay more or lose the $180 they already made you pay.Doesn't sound like an 11 year warranty to me -more like a way to get repeat business due to subpar workmanship. In contrast, I had a different company do a bathtub at a different property and 10+ years later it is still pristine. I will not use electrobond again. read more

My old tub now looks beautiful. I really appreciate the non-slip finish and especially the repair kit, which I had to use almost immediately because my ring scratched the finish a little while I was caulking the tub. The repair is totally invisible! It would have been very expensive to replace my tub because it is 5.5 feet, rather than 5, but refinishing gave me a tub like new at a fraction of the cost of a new one! The bath tub refinishing project was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I now have more respect for the skill set needed to do this. After a somewhat rocky start, I am currently hoping to enjoy a long-term nicely finished tub. The owner stands behind her warranty which makes the money spent seem worthwhile. read more

Do Not under any circumstance use this business unless you are into stress and strain. . They do not deliver what they promise. Once they get your money you don't hear from them again especially if there is a problem. A technician named Tim that they use is lazy, rude, and you should not let him in your home. That's all he did was complain about how much work there was and that he was losing money on the job, would not continue until he found out who was going to pay for the extras and the owner of the company made excuses for him. He walked off the job blaming me and I had to wait another week before someone could come back to try and finish the job. Eventually it was finished but several of the issued that I had been promised were not delivered and I have not hear from the owner to see if the job was completed and if I was satisfied. read more
