Todor and his team were great. Once you got past Todor's " no nonsense" demeanor, he is funny, witty and full of great information. However, if you are expecting small talk and chatting on the job site, then look elsewhere. He came and moved a light switch and a electric plug so we could install a cabinet. His crew arrived on time, did the job and were out - fast and efficient. I would stress that you have Todor explain exactly what is going on with the project and why certain things were done. He thinks 3 steps ahead and does things that may seem "unfinished" to the naked eye but are greatly appreciated by the next trade person who may be coming in (i.e. drywallers). I have now had Todor do 2 major projects at my place - electricals for a kitchen re-model; as well as replacing ceiling lights with recessed lights. I found him excellent to work with - very professional, quick, and interfaced really well with my contractor. He is also good from an administrative end - does things over email, and very good about paperwork. Fairly priced - not cheap but not pricey; but extremely high quality; so no issues on pricing. He also took care of all the permit situations and dealing with the inspectors, and had a good ability to know what would be problem areas, and what would be likely cost over-runs. I was foolish enough to have some electrical work done on my house without permits by a handyman. It was terribly done and when I had to get an electrical inspection of something else, they caught it. I called Electro-Integrity based on these positive reviews. Todor came out soon after I called and was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. It wasn't cheap, but it turned out to be lots of work. He then scheduled two more inspections. I was there for the last inspection and it was clear that the inspector has a lot of respect for Todor and is friendly with him. That is telling. Todor immediately impressed me as very thoughtful and a good listener, and his bid was very competitive. Once work commenced, his folks were professional and thorough. UPDATED 9/2/2009: OK, after Todor did such a nice job with our recessed lighting (see paragraph below), we had him back to do an even bigger job - all the lights, outlets, etc... related to a full kitchen remodel. WOW, he was as good as ever. He was so thoughtful in approaching his work, always coming up with suggestions that made TONS of sense to us. (We're electrical philistines so it's good to have some guidance.) And he knows all the electrical code rules, etc... He was flexible in working hours - and was reasonably priced. And the other contractors (drywall, carpenter, etc..) commented on how good it was to collaborate with Todor. He's the best. We used Todor to install recessed lighting thoughout our entire house. We couldn't be happier with his work. He was professional and courteous at all times, and did a terrific job. His prices were reasonable, too. My wife and I just bought a house that still had the original electrical inspection permits from 1939. The previous owners had jury rigged several different circuits together with different kinds of fuse boxes. It was a mess. We could only find one insurance company who would even agree to insure the house. Todor completely replaced everything with a breaker box, brought it all up to code, and did some additional repairs that we didn't know we needed when he started. He was prompt, efficient, thorough, and refreshingly honest. We would definitely recommend him and we'll be calling him again when we find more electrical issues with the house - which I'm sad to say I'm sure we will. He was tasked with removing all my old knob & tube wiring (building was constructed in 1905) and installing all new wiring, outlets, switches, breakers, etc according to SF title 24 and city rules. Todor and Wilson are an awesome crew. They made sure that our electric fuse box was up to code. Todor even accommodated us to move the date of service up so can get done before our move date. At one point, our kitchen stove didn't work so I texted Todor. He was at our home within 2 hours and spent 2 hours just to fix the issue to reconnect the electricity. Really appreciate he attention to detail. I believe he spent 5 days over a 2 week period just to update our fuse box and handled the inspection. I was certainly what you call a difficult client. I had a bearing go bad on a fan in my guest bedroom, right before I was going to have guests in town. That turned into "while I'm at it, I might as well get these six other projects completed". The day after Thanksgiving 2017, PGE cut power to the house due to aged wiring that might have caused a fire. I called numerous electricians, and Todor was the only one that answered. I had Todor do the electrical work for my condo conversion after looking for someone in the Castro area who had experience with condo conversion work. He was very good at explaining things and when we had to do a last minute reroute of some air vents he had a contact who came over the next day to fix it. I passed the electrical inspection with no problem. His work included upgrading the lines from the house to the street, installing new outlets, installing lights on the three levels of the outside patio, installing new lighting in the basement and a completely new set of electrical panels that included a panel for the common areas. He even consulted wih me on the types and quality of the various materials as well as the placement of the upgraded line (the more aesthetically pleasing installation was more work, and he agreed that was what he would do if it was his home). The only bummers. I had were that in order to install an outlet in my bathroom he had to put some holes in my solid redwood paneling in really awkward shapes and didn't leave any pieces of the wood to try and refill them. Not a big deal if you have drywall. Super bummer in solid redwood-- I just wish the pieces were left. The other was that while the new lines were placed in the basement, the old ones were left so I need to figure out how to take those down (he was upfront that he wouldn't do that, but I would have paid more for it). All in all, Todor was very patient, very prompt, honest, professional, very resourceful and knows the city inspectors for having worked so much with them which was a big plus. todor just left my house 5 minutes ago. i am left with a mindful of knowledge about how electricity is run around my parent's old house, options for what could be and should be done, a little bit of knowledge of electric codes of nowadays, and with a safer outlet that had its ground energized and todor caught it! todor absolutely knows what hes doing. he was even showing me all the numbers and what they mean on his multimeter. if my parents say yes to what further things need to be done electrically in the house (i cant just poke holes in their walls without asking them haha), then im looking nowhere else except for todor. and then after that ill be back to write yet another update haha. seriously save yourself the trouble and just FORGET other electricians. hire todor read more

Todor is a honest and upstanding professional, and the name of his company - Electro-Integrity - really applies to his character. When my 4 unit in Noe Valley had issues with the electicity diming and going on and off, Todor suggested that I first contact PG&E as he indicated that the problems may be fixed by PG&E. As it turned out, the electrical issues were caused by a damaged element outside of my buidling that was the responsibility of PG&E. Todor saved me unnecessary charges due to his experience which wasn't the case with an earlier electrician that I had contacted who charged me a service fee even though he didn't fix the problem. In another instance, Todor was at my building while I was inquiring about upgrading and increasing the voltage for all the units. Todor was kind enough to talk to the tenant about why there isn't sufficient voltage for the unit. He was professional and thorough. He happened to be on a job nearby and he came right over and gave my wife and me a mini-course in outdoor GFIs and indoor grounded switches, for which he didn't charge us. We have to do a little digging (in the dirt) to figure out the GFI situation but if more extensive work is required I would turn to him first to get the job done.
