Let me start by saying that I am very surprised that Deborah doesn't have more reviews. I guess its true what they say- if service is good, people MAY tell a friend but if service is bad, they will tell everyone they know. So, I want to take the opportunity to spread the word. Deborah is conveniently located, (for me anyways) the shop is small but clean and friendly. Have you ever walked into a big fancy salon to ask a question? Take a number because most are overpriced and rude. Deborah is so nice and personal and for me, that's what its all about. She is able to accept visa which was very convenient- as a lot of smaller salons do not. Her prices were the most reasonable Ive ever seen and her work is superior! The day of my appointment, my sitter fell through and I had to bring my daughter along. Although my daughter is very well behaved, most people would probably have been frustrated with this- but not her. She was patient and sweet and even sewed my daughters shoe back together after the strap broke in the parking lot on the way in! haha! I had already had my eyebrows done about two years ago, and they were already faded, and not only were they different shapes but one was slightly higher than the other!!! I remember the first experience being quite painful so was very surprised when I felt no pain what-so-ever during the procedure with Deborah. She was able to make my eyebrows the perfect shade, perfect shape, and perfectly even! I couldn't be happier with the results. Don't be discouraged by the lack of gallery pictures. She just respects her clients privacy and feels it would be intrusive to take before and after pictures as a lot of her clients are elderly and wouldn't appreciate it. 5 stars Deborah!! The first time I got my eyebrows and eyeliner done, the girl who did it was new and didn't want to go as thick as I'd asked for. Luckily I was her model for her final, so it didn't cost me anything. I found Deborah on Yelp and decided to try her out. The place she works out of is a bit outdated, but that means that we as consumers aren't paying for a fancy place's rent. She makes you feel very comfortable, she's very personable, her prices are better than reasonable, and she did exactly what I asked for. I arrived at my appointment. She took me right away and started numbing my Eyebrows. She is giving me a Broad exaggerated brow, I think my face is fat, she assured me it wasn't. I'm excited to see the end result! Debbie is warm and inviting. She immediately want to know about you brow decision, why the choice?! To give you what you want! I have been seeing Deborah for 15 years for my permanent makeup. She's the only one I trust. I have followed her around from previous locations. She did my eyebrows and my bottom eye liner. Painless. She is easy going, and loves to talk while your getting your Make-Up done (which calms me). I came in with how I wanted my eye brows done, and I left with exactly what I asked for. I called the phone number on Yelp and a lady answered - her: hello? Me: Ummm is this electrolysis by Deborah? Her:Yes. This isn't a strike but it was just awkward trying to figure out if I dialed the right number. Suggestions for the future: Hello this is Deborah, then how can I help you? Anyway, my appointment was the next day at 8am. I was there 10min before but I wasn't even sure I was at the right place since there's no suite number listed on Yelp and Deborah never bothered to mention it nor say the actual salons name. I called to make sure I was at the right place and she assured me and let me know she was on her way. She showed up 5min late - strike 1. I have twins and live in Ramona. If I can be on time you can too. I see who I think is Deborah walk up so I get out of my car and walk up to the salon since we're already running late. Then she gets stopped by someone she obviously knows and starts a conversation! She sees me and doesn't even acknowledge I'm standing there. She finally motions to me to go inside. Strike 2 - she comes in the salon and doesn't say hi or introduce herself or apologize for now being 10min behind, instead she starts taking to the hair dressers about her drama. I was ready to walk out and I don't know why I didn't. She tells me to go back to this drab, cluttered room. She hasn't set up anything. We started and it seriously feels like she's just tweezing. I even asked if she was plucking them and then on the next one I felt the little needle and she showed me the hair. Strike 3 - she got two separate phone calls and she answered them. I had to wait till she was done then we resumed. Totally unprofessional. On top of it all... I hate to say this but when she was talking to me and it smelled like she hadn't brushed her teeth in a week. I was literally sick. Well needless to say, all the hairs are tweezed and I paid $40. I had swelling in one tiny spot (probably from the one hair that got electrocuted) I will never be back. Horrible experience. I'll just drive further, pay a little more and go to my other lady so it gets done right and I'm in a clean sterile environment. Sorry, I really hoped for better :/ read more

I wanted permanent eyeliner and I pulled a few names from the internet. I called Deborah for an appointment and she was very accomodating. The procedure was virtually painless and I am totally happy with the results. The location is not exactly a spa type environment, but you don't have to pay spa prices either. For eyeliner done just the way I wanted it, it was only $250. The electrolysis prices were reasonable too, so I'm thinking of going back for that! read more
