There are honestly no words to describe how amazing my experience with Nancy has been. I called her around 11 PM one night, and to my surprise, she answered my call and was kind enough to do a 45-minute consultation with me that same night! At the time, I was so overwhelmed and depressed with how tangled and difficult my hair had become to manage. Honestly, being new to San Diego, finding the right hairstylist has been extremely difficult, but that all changed when I met Nancy. She's not only knowledgeable and talented, but also incredibly kind, accommodating, and always willing to work with you Nancy's amazing, super helpful, and incredibly educated in what she does. She knows about all these newer treatments I had never even heard of, but they've truly helped me manage my hair. As someone with thick ethnic curly hair that tangles very easily, I'm always amazed by her work and how up-to-date she stays with the latest treatments and techniques. One thing I truly appreciate is how respectful she is of my faith and personal values. As a Muslim woman, it meant so much to me that she even offered me a private room to pray. I can't tell you how rare it is to find someone this kind and accommodating. She provides such a secure, safe, and comfortable environment, with coffee, snacks, and water, and most importantly, a private area to work on my hair without random men walking in, which made me feel so comfortable and respected. Her team is also amazing and so friendly, and welcoming. Since I'm still new to San Diego, two of her stylists even recommended so many great places around the area, which was so thoughtful. My hair was silky smooth after the keratin treatment, and I recently got the nanoplastia treatment as well. As I was already in Mission Valley, I took the opportunity to get my teeth whitened, a task I had been putting off due to my busy work schedule. In celebration of my birthday month, I wanted to prioritize self-care and look my best, so I spontaneously visited Nancy O Beauty to indulge in some pampering. Today, March 2nd, 2026- Received two 15-minute treatments for under $60. Although I had never had my teeth professionally whitened before, Irma made me feel comfortable, despite our language difference. Irma was kind enough to take a video of me during the treatment. However, I found the mouth guard trays to be slightly uncomfortable, and the mouth guard that was placed on the right caused me pain during the second treatment. The retractable client chair was very comfortable, although I wish it was an air conditioned room. The business store front , Nancy O Beauty appeared clean, everything was hygienic & the business appeared to have a very relaxing environment!! It was a pleasure meeting Nancy, Vanessa, and Irma. I'll definitely let others know about your teeth whitening services!! I booked a Groupon a few months ago with this business. I arrived to the address Groupon provided and it was wrong after waiting for 10 min I called and was given a different address. When I got there the owner Nancy told me I had to pay an extra $15 because my hair is long. My hair is medium length. Also this isn't stated on Groupon. I was already there so I did it. Dalia did my hair and she did a great job. Great blow dry. Never cared to go back here because it was out of the way and Nancy was not very kind. This Saturday I was desperate for a last minute blow dry before Easter. I contacted Nancy and asked if I purchase a Groupon does she have availability the same day, she called me and said please don't buy the Groupon because of the profit they take from her, and that she would honor the price. I said ok no problem I won't buy it and she scheduled me for 2pm. A few hours later she texts me saying that she can't honor the Groupon and the only way I can get a blow dry is if I pay $60. So unprofessional and rude of her. What kind of business owner tells someone the day before Easter yes I will do a blow dry for you at this price and then hours before the appointment change the price to double what they agreed on? I don't appreciate this type of treatment it's unfair business practice. read more

"Thank you for sharing your thoughts"..? Ma'am, you mean FACTS of what happened? I would agree with the payment disagreement if the price wasn't already fixed by Groupon AND service paid for. Maybe don't do business with Groupon if you feel the need to keep price gauging clients. Very disappointing, from the moment I walked in the door (in the middle of a mall under a different store name), Nancy was quite unprofessional. I was there for a keratin treatment I purchased on Groupon. I had been receiving treatments since 2015 from someone I had met on groupon but is no longer in state. I know how much the treatments cost and what I usually pay. I even had cash on hand to pay the groupon difference as a tip, if I liked the end result. She asked to see my groupon voucher before anything. She saw the amount I paid and said she would "only be receiving $30 from groupon." Is that my fault? I told her that the small amount I paid was an out-of-pocket amount because I had $75 in my account for the full $135 voucher. She then goes on to inspect my hair and says its long and thick. Mind you, I had just cut it shoulder length (see photo taken same day) and had a baby which made my hair scant (that is all of my hair pulled to the side). She said she could only do my hair for an additional $90. I said no on principle and she, very mockingly, said "I'm sure you can get a refund." Don't waste your time and be scammed by this lady. Stick to Keratin specific beauty salons. Keratin shop and smoothed salon are great, I just wish I lived closer to these places. read more

Once I came in, she said that because my hair was long, it would be DOUBLE the price of the Groupon, over $50, I was so disappointed.
