Maintaining womanhood is not an easy thing! I've mentioned this before but I am an occasional waxer. I tend to go when I'm going on a vacation! I found The Skin Boutique on Groupon with a $20 Brazilian Wax deal (originally $40!!) and it's pretty local to where I live. I'm in that shopping center often and I never noticed this little gem. I purchased the deal on a Saturday, I called in on Monday to see if they had availability Tuesday, but no, had to be pushed to Wednesday. With work and activities after work, Wednesday @ 7:30pm was not going to work! I texted (also super convenient!!) Van to see if she could take me the same day (Monday) and she said 7:35pm?? and i said YESSSS!!! I was thrilled. Van was amazing. She said "there are no secrets between us anymore!" haha and it's true! When you're exposed for this wax, that's just how it goes. The wax she used wasn't the type that you pull with paper. It's the type that hardens for 2 minutes and pull off. There were different types of waxes used for the more sensitive parts - super cool! Van also cleans up with some tweezing too. I'm satisfied with the results! Wish the rest of my body looked good in a bathing suit, haha. Without the Groupon, the prices for services here are actually really good! read more

Found their deal for the Brazilian wax on Groupon for $20!! Contacted Van and she was able to book me for the B. wax, an additional spray tan and facial the next day. It was my first Brazilian wax, so I was squirming each time Van removed the wax off. She was very understanding, patient and professional about it. This was followed by a facial. Facial was quick but it ended up having the best results of any facial I've ever had! My face left feeling really smooth and clean!! It's been 5 days and it still feels the same! Afterwards, I got the spray tan in the nude. Again, Van was very professional. I asked if I could get some tan on my face and V. happily obliged. I was very happy with my bronzed self the next day when I noticed the color surfacing everywhere. Van is very sweet, has a personality, professional, and great at what she does. Her cute little boutique is located in Rancho San diego in the Ralph's shopping plaza. Her shop is too cute, I admire the decor and the welcoming environment. You never have to wait when you have an appt. She is always on time and greets you when you walk in. Parking is never an issue. The parking is very large and adequate. It's incredibly easy to make an appt more so she's always willing to accommodate your busy schedule by staying late or arriving early .
