He replaced the inner fuse free of charge but I insisted on paying him at least something anyway. A larger corporate-type business would not have been so forgiving. He also was very personable and was eager to pass on his knowledge. He explained the repairs in detail, and gave me advice about speaker choice and the proper way to hook up speakers.

I have even heard of them redoing speakers and convincing people to trade out their original drivers for new ones. They quickly informed me that the computer had been assembled with cheap parts from Wish.com and Alibaba, an apparently common practice at NewEgg nowadays. Eddie offered two options: repairing my computer at a great price, or using it as a trade-in towards one of his masterpieces. I chose the latter option, and was pleasantly surprised by how much he offered for my trade-in. Eddie and his wife Sarah are wonderful people: patient, kind, informative, and supportive.
